jungkook's pov ♡ ࿐ྂ ࿔ ;

8AM

we just landed in sydney, went through security, baggage claim, got our rental cars and checked into the hotel in the city. i was sharing a room with yoongi-hyung, we unpacked and relaxed for a few hours.

1:30PM

we walked around the city, ate out for lunch and made our way to the arena to prepare the surprise for lve. manager-hyung got in contact with mr an so he could somehow figure out a way to get lve to arrive at the arena for the surprise. 

vanessa's pov ♡ ࿐ྂ ࿔ ;

i'm currently in korean class and the lunch bell is gonna ring any second. once the bell rang, mr an called emily, leanne and my name out to have a chat with us but we waited for our classmates to leave the room first. 

"mr an, is everything okay?" emily asked

"yes everything is okay, i just wanted to tell you girls that there's some sort of event happening at qudos bank arena. i heard that they're having a sale for kpop merchandise and having performances" 

"really? that's cool, we should go there" i said

"is that event happening only today?" leanne asked

"yes but you should be quick, incase the items you want gets sold out"

"i'll have to ask my parents first" emily said

"thanks for telling us, mr an!" i said and smiled

"not a problem, girls. see you tomorrow" he said and smiled

"see you tomorrow, bye" we all said, bowed and walked out of the classroom 

"we'll text our parents and wait for a reply" emily said

"text on the group chat once you've received a reply and we'll figure out where to meet to travel together" leanne said

"okay, sounds good!" i said

"see you later~" we said and parted ways to sit with our friendship groups 

 i sat with my friends at our regular spot, we ate and chatted.

"hey vanessa, how're you and jungkook doing?"

"we're doing good not bad but i haven't heard from him since last night"

"really? he hasn't texted you this morning?"

"nope, he's probably really busy but i'll check up on him after school"

"ooh okay"

"by the way, did you end up finishing your art assignment?" 

"yes i did and submitted it this morning!"

"do you have a picture of your masterpiece? hehe"

"yes hehe, i'll show you all" i said and pulled out my phone

"aww, this is beautiful! you're definitely getting full marks"

"this is so heart-warming, this must've meant a lot to you"

"it does mean a lot to me and thank you so much, guys" i said and smiled 

↠ after school ↞

emily, leanne and i met outside the school entrance. our parents allowed us to go to the qudos bank arena but we needed to be home before it gets dark. we walked to the train station, caught the train and walked to the arena. i called jungkook but it wasn't going through, i just assumed his phone battery ran out or it was turned off. 

↠ 20 minutes later ↞

we arrive outside qudos bank arena and there wasn't anything set up outside but there were 4 security guards standing at the enterance. 

"should we ask the security guards if the event is here or are we are at the wrong stadium?" emily asked

"let's ask" leanne said

"okay" i said and we walked towards the security guards

"excuse me" i said

"yes, how can i help you?" he asked

"we heard that there's a an event here today and that there would be kpop merchandise being sold and performances" i said

"that's right. first, can i ask for your names?"

"vanessa"

"emily"

"leanne"

"please come inside" he said and leaded the way

we all looked at each other confusedly then slowly followed the security guard inside. he leaded us at the vip standing area right in-front of the stage. the arena was completely empty but the stage was all set up. 

"isn't this where the bts concerts are gonna be at?" emily asked 

"i think so" i said and scanned around the arena 

"it's huge but where's the kpop merchandise? haha" leanne said and we laughed

suddenly, the lights were turned off.

"omg, what is happening?!" emily asked in a panicked tone

"guys, stay close together" i said calmly and held their hands

"lve!" we heard a familiar voice echoed in the arena

"was that...namjoon?" i asked

"no way-" emily and leanne said then the spotlights shined on bts on stage 

all of our jaws dropped open, we started cheering for bts then they started performing just one day. 

my heart melted, i finally get to experience watching bts perform my absolute favourite song from them in person. emily, leanne and i sang along and got our phones out to record their performance. 

towards the last chorus of the song, seokjin gave jungkook a red rose and small jewellery box. jungkook was still singing while walking towards me, he kneeled down to hand me the gifts and the song ended. i took the gifts and smiled at jungkook. the security guard told us that we could go up on stage so we ran up on stage and i immediately ran into jungkook's embrace.

"surprise hehe" he gigged while still hugging me tight and kissed my forehead

"omg kookie, i can't believe you're already here!"

"i've wanted to tell you that we were coming early but i didn't want to ruin the surprise" jungkook said while cupping my face

"you know that you're the best, right?"

"i know" he jokily said then kissed me

everyone walked over to us and we grouped hugged. 

"you all looked so surprised haha" hoseok said and laughed

"of course, we didn't expect this to happen" emily said

"we thought there would be kpop merchandise and performances" leanne said 

"this surprise is way better though!" i said and the girls agreed 

"when did you all arrive in sydney?" emily asked

"early this morning" namjoon said 

"that means the flight was last night?" leanne asked

"correct! haha" jimin said and laughed

bts insisted to perform a few of our favourite songs, we were enjoying ourselves and cheering for them non-stop. 

when they were done performing, we hangout around the arena and caught up with everyone. 

"have you ever performed at an arena before?" jungkook asked

"no i haven't"

"here, sing any song you want" he said while handing me his microphone 

"o-oh i don't know..."

"i'll sing with you" he said and held my hand

"jungkook-ah, here" yoongi said and handed his microphone to jungkook

"thanks hyung"

"do you have any song in mind that you'd like to sing?" jungkook asked 

"hm...hold me tight ?" 

"okay~" he said and smiled 

jungkook and i sang the chorus of hold me tight  in acapella. the feeling of singing in the arena just hit me, it didn't feel the same as performing at events or busking, it felt like a big deal and i couldn't myself to be performing in arenas regularly. 

↠ 5pm ↞

"it's getting dark, we better get going now" leanne said

"aww okay" seokjin said 

"thanks for surprising us!" emily said

"anytime" taehyung said 

"call you later?" jungkook asked while hugging me

"yes" i said and kissed him 

we said bye to everyone, walked to the train station and went our separate ways to get home. 

 ↠ 5:45pm ↞

once i got home, i took a shower, ate dinner with my family and told them about the bts surprise. afterwards, i went to my room to complete my homework and worked on my painting for jungkook. 

↠ 9pm ↞

i got a text from jungkook asking if i was free to video call, i texted him back, he called and i answered.  

"nessieee"

"kookieee"

"what are you doing?"

"i was painting, now i'm cleaning up and talking you. how about you?"

"i was playing video games with jin-hyung and taehyungie-hyung, now i'm talking to you hehe"

"did you win?"

"you bet i did"

"good job, let's play sometime!"

"of course! by the way, have you opened the small jewellery box yet?"

"oh- nope i haven't but i'll open it right now"

"okay~" he said and smiled

i opened the box and saw a cute, heart-shaped, silver ring and it fit on my right ring-finger. 

"lightly press down on the ring" he said

i did as i was told and heard jungkook's voice coming from the ring saying;

"nessie baby, it's me, your kookie baby! i just want to remind you of how lucky and blessed i am to have you in my life. i also want to thank you for accepting me and always providing me with positive energy, endless support and love. jinjja saranghae~" 

i giggled and smiled

"this is adorable, i'm gonna wear this everyday! thank you so much for this, kookie. nado jinjja saranghae~" 

jungkook couldn't stop smiling, he looked so adorable and i just wanted to cuddle him. we continued to call while we both were getting ready for bed. we eventually ended the call since it was getting late and i needed to sleep because i had school the next day. i texted jungkook then fell asleep.
