Irration Me

I was taken off my horse that was tied to a tree and led into a tent. There, I was given Trikru clothes to change and wait for someone. Food was given to me and I sharpened my sword in the meantime.

"Heda wants you," Gustus told me. I stood, following him into the sun and I looked over at the anxiety-filled citizens of Camp Jaha. I was told to remove my sword before entering the largest camp. There, a table had a war plan and animal skin hung across the room. A darker woman stood beside the throne holding the same woman I had met last night.

"You must be Krazy Kane," she said. I think I was supposed to kneel but nothing brought me to show loyalty before someone other than myself. "Anya is dead," I told them. I reached into my pocket but the warrior was about to draw her sword but she was motioned to stop so I could hand her the piece of hair.

"I was her second," the Commander said. "So was I," I said. I watched her silently mourn with the hair in her hand before she blinked and tucked it away.

"Will you be representing Skaikru?" she asked. "I don't speak for those people but I can bring someone in," I told her. Her eyebrows raised underneath her war paint to do so but I kept my post. "I'd like to see my father's body. You either have him or don't, then we can continue."

"You don't-" "Indra," the Commander cut her off. "Your skills are extraordinary, I want you on my side. Bring me their leader and I'll bring you your father."

I smirked at Indra and walked out to grab my sword. Ares was brought to me and I rode him back to camp. The citizens crowded me until I was taken into the station.

"They've come to kill us, haven't they," Jaha said. "No," I denied. "They want to speak with the leader. Abby... or whoever else." "Since they're not attacking, we should take this time and go, the people are scared," Jaha suggested.

"Why don't you leave and find the City of Light for us," Abby snapped. "I need time to think before I go." "I don't think she'll give you time," I said.

I left them to bicker and walking in the withering heat was a familiar figure Jaha had misinformed me about. The guard opened the gates for me to march up to my father and give him a tight hug. I could feel eyes prey on me and I turned to meet them.

"I spent time with Lexa," Kane told us. "She's smart." "Then we need a smarter leader to face her," I said. "I can't." "Princess," Bellamy suggested, looking at the blonde. I eventually agreed with him.

As we went to leave, I could hear Abby shouting after her daughter. "You're not going anywhere, I'm the chancellor who makes the calls," she said firmly. "You may be the chancellor but I'm in charge," Clarke replied which made me chuckle.

Abby was left in shock and we hiked across the plains to the blockade. Dropping my weapon, Clarke did the same and we entered the tent. I nodded at Lexa for her end of the deal and leaned on the table to show my relaxation in her presence as Clarke stayed stiff.

"We have a common enemy: the Mountain Men," the blonde spoke. "I believe we should join forces to take them down, both of our people are in there." "What makes Skaikru so valuable to save?" Indra asked.

"We have guns, engineers, and doctors that could turn Reapers back to normal," Clarke pitched. My eyes widened along with my brows raising. "During my time in the mountain I read through the Cerberus Project that made Reapers, there's no cure," I said. "We can prove it," Clarke said. "With Lincoln."

How did Lincoln become a Reaper? That was what crossed my mind.

Lexa stood and approached her, "Show me." Clarke glanced at me and I knew this was a stupid plan as we left the tent. The sword on my back was what made a battalion form with the Commander as we led her into the trees. I knew where we were going; the dropship.

There, Octavia opened it for us to see Abby and Nyko around Lincoln's chained body that pinned on the floor. The guards stayed posts across Lexa's warriors as we piled in. Lincoln's beard had grown as he viciously growled to be unchained and Abby sedated him. He continued to shake until he slowed and his chest stopped rising.

Mine did the same. Octavia began to weep and rage coursed my veins. Nyko went to say the death eulogy when I punched Sergeant Byrne for her shock baton. Remembering the way they used it on me, I cranked the voltage and struck Lincoln's chest.

"A defibrillator," Abby understood. I did it again and Lincoln shot up with a gasp. Instead of growling, he exhaustedly sighed. "You will not die while I'm still here," I told him. I glared at Clarke and Lexa before dropping down the ladder and outside, behind the dropship.

The mild air seemed to calm me as I stared at the blue sky. The trees fell into the view with a bird passing by and I exhaled, pulling my arms behind my back. After riding out last night, I never had the chance to relax. This was it. It abruptly ended when the Commander came.

"I want you to do something for me," she began and I halfway faced her. "You said to the villages of Tondc that you would level the blood at the massacre. Do so by bringing me the one they call Finn." I thought about it for a moment knowing what he did and the cost it would take me. They did call me crazy so I irrationally nodded.

We both turned to the front of the dropship where everyone was gathering to leave and Lexa was surrounded by her protectors. I wasn't sure whether to join her in my affiliation with Trikru but I was starting to drift from them and I had no relationship with Skaikru.

We parted from the Grounders and I tagged along with the guards to Camp Jaha where Jaha, Murphy, and a few others were nowhere to be found. My target and Bellamy came into contact with Clarke to interrogate her about where we had been.

I was at a table eating rations to sustain myself and I eyed Finn speaking with Raven. Her head dropped and she crossed her arms before walking away. I watched as he went inside the Ark and I moved from my spot.

"Finn," I called out and he turned. "What do you want?" he asked. I rolled my eyes, "Clarke wants to meet at the dropship, she radioed." "Why?" "I don't know? Create a plan to use me to kill the Commander," I concocted.

He reasonably agreed with my quick response to Clarke's plans and we went outside. It was dark as we made our way to the side of the perimeter. Just as we were about to leave, Bellamy swung by.

"Where are you two going?" he asked. "Clarke radioed," I answered. He raised his eyebrows in confusion and I quickly added, "I guess you aren't that close." He huffed, deciding to go with us especially for Finn's safety with me.

We had gone across the field and made sure we were far from the blockade to entered the tree line. I didn't have to gather the confidence or courage to swing my arm against Finn's jaw to make him unconscious. I kicked Bellamy in the knee bend and used his assault rifle to make sure he was down.

The ropes I had hidden earlier in the dirt were used to tie Finn. I grabbed Bellamy's handgun to place under my jacket knowing I had to remove my weapons. I dragged the long-haired boy across the grassy terrain until he woke up and he walked behind me as a hostage.

"Ai laik Kane, en ai gada in Finn!" I exclaimed. The warriors made a path where at the end Lexa, Indra, and Gustus stood. He motioned me to remove my sword as took Finn and placed him on the stake that was being built.

Behind me, I heard screaming. I turned to see Clarke had come running in to be held by guards and I knew Bellamy had warned all of Skaikru because I see them at the gates and in the tower.

"For the nineteen lives at Tondc," Lexa projected her voice. "Finn of Skaikru will be punished with Death by a Thousand Cuts." I placed my hands behind my back as a soldier and watched as someone approached Finn with a knife.

For some reason, Clarke's weeping ignited a fire in me. I hadn't felt sympathy for her since she stopped talking to me and I irrationally pulled out my gun and held it at Lexa. With that, every warrior stopped and pointed all of their weapons at me.

"I dare you," Indra huffed. She provoked me to pull the trigger and I shot at the tent, making fear cross them so they wouldn't test me.

"Take off the plate," I ordered. I had ten clips now that I shot again. Lexa did so and I added, "Now the chip on your forehead." She did that too. "Wipe off the war paint." She did as I told.

"Gustus, remove Finn from the stake," I said. He didn't move for a moment and I stepped forward with the gun still at Lexa's head. She didn't react but I could see the terror that peeked around the corner of my eyes. I had power.

"Remove him!" I repeated. Gustus set down his sword and went to Finn to untie him and lead him down the steps. "You will place yourself in his position," I said. Lexa's eyes closed in understanding as she moved with the gun still following her and she climbed the stake.

I had Gustus tie her onto it and I announced, "Lexa kom Trikru, will be punished with a bullet. Why? Because I said so." They stayed silent at her sentence and I heard them gasp when the gun fired. Lexa's eyes were shut and released when I heard Clark scream. My arm had moved to Finn when I pulled the trigger.

Knowing I had to leave, I shot a warrior so I could grab my sword. Wielding it in my right hand, the gun was in my left as I slaughtered a pathway for myself and into the woods where I ran.
