Episode 5 - Searching for Cheongsan

While waiting for Suhyeok and Cheongsan from the teachers’ office, Areum was leaning her body against the window beside Namra. The black haired girl was lost in thought as the class president beside her was stating some facts to the others.

“I heard that in some countries, they mourn adults more than they do with children. And in other countries, they are sadder when children die. Which do you think our country is?” Namra mentioned.

The class president was faced toward Wujin, aimlessly looking at something behind the boy as Wujin stared at her in amazement. The young boy was amazed that he could see the other sides of her beside her cold exterior.

Glancing around to see his friends, Daesu went to ask the class president. “What do you mean by that?”

“What Namra meant is that when children die, you lose hope. And when adults, you lose their wisdom.” Joonyeong explained behind Daesu. “Hope and wisdom. Which do we value more?”

“Hmm.” Daesu hummed as he thought about the question. Hearing the helicopter whirring in the distance, Areum turned her body around and saw two helicopters were flying in the sky.

“They’ve been flying all over the place since yesterday.” Areum claimed when she spotted the two helicopters flying in different directions, hoping in her mind that they would be rescued soon.

“They would have already saved us if they really wanted to.” Namra added as Areum caught sight of her close friend glaring toward the two helicopters.

“But even if they do come to save us, we won’t get out first. We’re just not important enough for that.” The class president paused as she glanced around her classmates. “We’re just students. Nothing more.”

Hearing Namra’s words, Areum instantly knew what she had said was partly true, which made her hope for being rescued would be hopeless. Areum closed her eyes and took a few deep breaths as she tried to calm her panic.

***********

Seeing Suhyeok walking along the window ledge to the broadcasting room, both Daesu and Wujin called his name, which attracted the attention of their friends. Areum immediately left her seat beside Namra and went closer to the tall boy, who was panting after landing inside the room.

“Are you okay?”

“Where’s the phone?”

“And where’s Cheongsan?”

All of these questions were unanswered by Suhyeok as Areum could see his eyes become unfocused after coming from the teachers’ office. Quickly, Areum went to stand in front of the boy and cupped his face with her small hands. When she saw the tall boy still seem unfocused, the young girl tried to soothe the boy by rubbing both of his cheeks in a circulation motion with her thumbs as she stared at his black eyes.

“Suhyeok-ah, look at me. Please. You’re here. You’re okay now.” Areum whispered as she tried to make the tall boy focus on her after seeing his state when coming inside the room.

“Lee Suhyeok. Please, look at me. It’s going to be alright.” The black haired comforted him. Few moments later, Suhyeok was able to focus on her as he stared at her brown eyes. Taking a few breaths, Suhyeok suddenly hugged Areum, which made the beauty jump in surprise.

“Are you alright?” The young girl asked in a low voice as he tightened his arms around the girl. Areum could feel Suhyeok shaking his head in response, making the girl frown in question. Patting his back in comfort, the young girl waited for him to explain for further detail.

Watching Onjo walk to the window to look for Cheongsan from Suhyeok’s shoulder, Areum could see Onjo checked from both sides of the window, hoping Cheongsan would soon appear.

“Suhyeok-ah. Where is Cheongsan?” Onjo questioned as she could not see her childhood friend's figure. Pulling away from the hug to give some space for the tall boy to explain what happened to Cheongsan, Areum stood beside Suhyeok as she was unable to move away, seeing the tall boy had intertwined their hands together after the hug.

“We got separated in the teacher’s office. I’m sure he’ll be fine.” Suhyeok guilty replied as he saw the devastating expression on his friends’ faces, especially Onjo. Sensing that Suhyeok needed her comfort after explaining the situation in the teacher’s office, Areum gently squeezed his hand to reassure that it would be fine.

“You got separated? Oh, shit.” Daesu swore. Both Daesu and Joonyeong then went to check Cheongsan through the window.

“I’m sorry…” Suhyeok apologised as he was feeling guilty for safely coming back to the room. “For coming back alone.”

The black haired girl beside Suhyeok could see Onjo’s eyes become teary after realising her childhood friend was out there and trying his best to survive for his life amongst the zombies in the school premises.

***********

“What do we do? Onjo and Cheongsan are really close, just like Areum and Suhyeok.” The short haired girl murmured to Jimin, seeing the white hoodie girl standing on the window lost in thought.

Hearing the murmur from Hyeryong who sat beside her,  Areum was leaning against the chair she was sitting on while playing with her necklace pendant. The black haired girl had caught sight of Suhyeok glanced toward the two girls with remorse.

Knowing well how the tall boy would blame himself for getting separated from Cheongsan, Areum could only comfort him by giving a small smile when Suhyeok stared at her and then gently shaking her head, silently telling him to not blame himself for it. Suhyeok nodded his head in gratitude for trying to comfort him as he continued to listen to the two female students beside her. Areum sighed as she tried to find a solution in order to find Cheongsan around the school building.

“They’re going out.” Jimin informed the short-haired girl beside her.

“But Onjo told me they’re not.” Hyeryeong whispered.

“I’m telling you they are. They’re always together.” The girl in the school vest mentioned.

Suhyeok turned his head away from them as he pulled Onjo’s name tag from the pocket of his school blazer, seeing it was not a suitable time to give it back to the white hoodie girl.

“Really? Poor Onjo.” Hyeryeong whispered with pity laced in her voice.

After a few moments, the tall boy decided to comfort Onjo. He went to stand beside the girl in front of the window and could spot that she was silently crying for her childhood friend. Onjo instantly wiped her tears when she felt a presence standing beside her.

“I’m sure Cheongsan is fine. You know how fast he is.” Suhyeok reassured his friend.

“I don’t know why he never listens to me. He’s never done as I said ever since we were kids.” Onjo paused as she held her head down for a moment. “I told him no to go, but, of course, he did.”

“I’m sorry. I should’ve brought him back here.” The tall boy apologised as he looked over the school yard.

“Where do you think he is?” The white hoodie sighed.

“I’m sure he’s hiding somewhere safe.” Suhyeok answered.

“You know, Areum was a mess when she couldn’t find you in the science lab.” The white hoodie girl muttered after the long silence. Suhyeok quickly glanced at her after hearing her words.

“She was crying, afraid of losing you. Namra helped in comforting her. She told Areum that you would be fine and that you could fight any zombies that came your way. It helped lessen her worry after hearing Namra’s comfort words.” Onjo told the tall boy.

Suhyeok blinked his eyes when he listened to Onjo of what happened in the science lab when he was hiding in the art room. Glancing around to the girl he likes, Suhyeok smiled when he saw Areum was subtly playing with her necklace as she was talking to Namra.

 ***********

Pausing her conversation with Namra, Areum went silent as she listened to the helicopter whirring outside, which left Namra watching her in confusion. Remembering Joonyeong was a part of the science club members, a few weeks ago Areum had listened to the boy with glasses mentioning about their makeshift drone in his club when the two of them went to the teacher’s room to give their whole class’s homeworks to Ms. Park.

“Joonyeong-ah.” Areum suddenly called as she made a loud noise on the desk by slapping her hands on top of the table, causing the rest to avert their attention to the class vice president. The boy with glasses was startled when he heard his name and the loud bang.

“Remember when you told me that your science club made drones a few weeks ago?” Areum questioned as she stared at her friend. Joonyeong nodded his head as an answer, remembering that he had told her when they went to the teacher’s office. “Can we use it to search for Cheongsan?”

“We can but the drone is in the science lab.” Joonyeong uttered.

“We can go get it.” Onjo interrupted when she heard his reply as she went closer to the boy with glasses. The white hoodie girl was eager to take any opportunities so she could search for her childhood friend.

“How can we get it? It’s crawling with zombies out there.” Joonyeong mentioned as he pointed toward the door entrance of the room.

“We can use that.” Onjo pointed toward the fire hose outside the room.

“You want me to climb up using that?” The boy with glasses questioned, clearly not liking the idea.

“But there are zombies in the science lab too.” Hyeryeong claimed.

“There weren’t any zombies in the supply room. I remembered the door to the supply room was closed.” Areum informed her friends.

“That’s true, but…'' Joonyeong commented as he turned his head down in shame.

“We have to find Cheongsan. Right now, we only have each other.” The white hoodie girl claimed. None of her friends gave responses until Namra spoke up.

“It would be good if we had the drone.” Namra agreed. “We can find Cheongsan and then we can see how things are outside the school. We might even be able to send an emergency message and ask for help.”

“Sure, that would be really great.” Hyeryeong admitted. “But who’s gonna go?”

“I’ll go. I've had fire department training and I’ve climbed ropes before.” Onjo offered.

“I can go too. I can help her bring back the drone from the supply room.” Areum suggested, making Suhyeok glanced at her in opposition to the idea of her climbing up to the supply room.

“No, I’ll go.” Suhyeok insisted as he went near his group of friends, staring at Areum’s brown eyes. The tall boy wanted to redeem himself for being separated from Cheongsan by helping his friends get the drone from the supply room in the science lab.

“You already went to the teachers’ office. You can’t keep putting yourself in danger.” The white hoodie girl stated, glancing at the boy she had crushed on. Onjo saw the boy she had crushed on was staring at the class vice president in compassion.

“The drone isn't finished yet, we need to find a few more parts in order to run it. Do you know what to get?” Joonyeong uttered from where he was sitting.

Seeing the confusion amongst his friends’ expressions, the boy with glasses heavily sighed as he knew that he would most likely be the one to go to the supply room to get the drone as well as the parts to complete the drone.

“Then I have to go anyway, I guess.” The boy with glasses offered. “I’ll go with Onjo.”

“No way.” Daesu voiced as he straightened his posture from leaning against the console counter. Looking as serious as he could, Daesu announced with his hands on his pockets, “I’m actually going this time, so stand back.”

“But you can’t go.” Wujin argued, ruining the serious moment for his best friend. “Not with that body. The rope won’t hold you.”

“It was fine when I came down. But it’ll snap if I climb up?” The plump boy questioned, looking at his best friend.

“Right.” Wujin simply answered.

“Yeah, it’ll snap.” Daesu agreed as he went back to lean his body against the counter.

“Right. Good boy.” Wujin complimented his best friend when the plump boy listened to his advice.

“Joonyeong-ah, let’s go together.” Onjo called as she smiled toward the boy with glasses. The intelligent boy nodded his head as he hummed.

“Areum-ah, I need you to stay here, okay? We’ll be back in a few minutes.” Onjo glanced at her close friend, knowing well how badly the beauty wanted to help her get the drone in the supply room. Areum nodded her head in agreement as she felt a bit useless for not being able to help her friend.

“It’s too dangerous. I’ll go.” Suhyeok insisted as he grabbed Onjo’s arm.

From the other side of the room, Areum witnessing the boy she likes grabbed Onjo’s arm as he insisted on going to the supply room. Blinking her eyes away from them, the black haired girl could hear Joonyeong groaning in pain after he attempted to climb on the window ledge.

Seeing Onjo staring where his hand was gripping her arm, Suhyeok immediately released her arm, not noticing that the girl he had developed feelings for had looked away after witnessing their interaction.

“Thank you. But I don’t want you to be in danger either.” Onjo spoke as she stared at the boy she had crushed on.

“I’m going.” Joonyeong announced as he held onto the fire hose, trying to delay from climbing up to the supply room in the science lab.

“I’m going.” The boy with glasses repeated once again as he started to climb the fire hose. Feeling bad for being jealous at the wrong time, Areum stood from her seat and went to help Onjo as she was about to begin climbing the fire hose.

“Be careful, Onjo.” Areum uttered as she clasped the fire hose.

“Be safe. We’ll be watching from here, okay?” Suhyeok muttered as he steadied the fire hose so Onjo could easily climb. The white hoodie girl nodded her head and started to climb up to the supply room. Both Suhyeok and Areum watched from the window as Onjo climbed the rope.

“Do you think it’s really safe out there?” Hyeryeong asked as she stood in between Areum and Jimin.

“I’m sure it is. As you said, there are soldiers and police out there.” Jimin answered as she blinked away her tears. “I want to go to my dad’s factory and my mom’s sundae restaurant.”

“Whatever.” Hyeryeong snorted as she heard her friend’s sudden confession. “You hate the smell of leather and sundae anyway.”

“Yeah, I do. I just want my mom’s sundae soup.” Jimin sniffled, making Hyeryeong glanced at her. The short-haired girl scoffed when she heard the girl beside her missed her parents.

“So you finally grew up? You should’ve been like that sooner. Now, it’s too late.” Hyeryeong mentioned, trying to be realistic about their current situation. Areum held a small smile when she overheard the two friends’s conversation as she began to worry about her grandparents and hoped that they would be rescued by now.

***********

Both Suhyeok and Areum were waiting on the window for their friends to come down from the supply room. Suhyeok was looking in the direction of the supply room while Areum looked over the school yard.

“I can’t stop thinking about this one thing.” Areum mentioned as she continued to watch the school yard.

“About what?” The tall boy asked, still watched for his friends to reappear from the supply room. Areum sighed as she placed both of her hands on top of the window frames.

“What if everyone turned and we’re the only humans left?” The black-haired girl questioned as she nervously played with her fingers.

“No way.” Suhyeok answered in disbelief as he stared at the beauty.

“You spent too much time with the class prez. You’re scaring me. Even now, you’re thinking about that instead of surviving.” The tall boy chuckled as he watched her quickly turn her head at him. The young girl scowled as she hit him on his shoulder.

“Yah! It's true that I’ve spent most of my time with Namra but you can’t said like that. That’s so mean. She’s my close friend. And I spent time with you too.” Areum defended her close friend. A grin appeared on his face as he stared at her brown eyes.

“I just keep thinking about it. But what if that were true?” Areum inquired in a serious tone as she stared at his black eyes.

“Come on.” Suhyeok responded, not wanting it to be true.

“Then we’d be the minority. And all minorities have a way of going extinct.” Areum continued. Once she finished her sentences, Aruem could hear the boy beside her sighed. She watched Suhyeok straighten his posture as he continued to stare down at the beauty.

“I’m sure we’re not.” Suhyeok insisted.

“But what if that actually happened? Can you endure this?” Areum questioned as she stared at the tall boy. Overwhelmed with the serious questions coming from the beauty, Suhyeok turned his head away from her.

“I don’t know. But I don’t want to become a zombie.” The tall boy mentioned as Areum continued to stare at the side of his face.

“You don’t recognise anyone. And…” Suhyeok paused as he glanced back at her before turning his head back to the school yard. “I won’t recognise you.” The tall boy confessed.

After hearing his confession, a smile appeared on her face as she could feel the butterflies fluttering inside her stomach, making the girl look down at her hands in delight.

“In case I do get bitten, can I ask you for a favor?” Areum uttered as she waited for his response. Suhyeok quickly gazed at her when he heard her statement, making his heart drop in a beat when he thinked Areum was getting bitten by zombies.

“No.” Suhyeok sternly stated as he faced her. “Don’t get bit.”

“If by chance-” The black haired girl held a small smile as she continued.

“No. Don’t get bit. You can’t. Don’t even think about dying.” Suhyeok interrupted as he looked at the girl he likes. He grabbed her right hand and intertwined them together. Gently squeezed her hand, Suhyeok pulled her closer to him as they watched their school yard.

***********

Once Onjo and Joonyeong arrived from the supply room after grabbing the drone, every student was huddling around the desk as they watched the boy with glasses fix the final part of the drone. Areum was seated in between Namra and Jimin as she  wrote down a message of help on the small sticky note.

Giving the finished note to Joonyeong, she saw he firmly stuck the note on top of the drone, then he plugged the wires battery, making the drone chimed and lightened with blue color.

“Does it work?” Daesu asked beside him as the boy with the glasses adjusting the controller. “Is it working?”

“I think it will.” Joonyeong mentioned. Then he removed his glasses and replaced them with the virtual glasses as he pushed some buttons on the controller. After a few seconds later, the drones began to whir as it hovering a few meters from the desk.

Joonyeong was trying to adjust the controller's moving buttons resulting in the drones flying in a fast motion. Seeing the fast drone flying past them, the group of friends gasped as they scared and moved away from the drone.

“Holy crap.” Daesu swore, barely managing to avoid the incoming drone. “You scared me! That thing is crazy fast.” Daesu commented as he lowered his body from the drone and walked closer to the boy who was controlling the drone.

“I’ll take it outside after I find Cheongsan. If I find rescuers outside, I’ll land it in front of them.” The boy with glasses informed his friends.

“Okay. Okay. Okay.” Daesu repeatedly said, nodded in agreement. Areum watched the drone begin to fly outside of the room when a voice stopped them for a moment.

“Wait a second.” Namra voiced as the others turned their attention to the class president. “They say when people know their situation is hopeless, they truly fall into despair.”

“That’s a cool phrase. But what does that mean?” The plump boy asked. After Daesu asked, Namra was not able to explain the phrases to him in simpler words as she lowering her eyes on the table. Seeing her close friend had lowered her eyes away from them, Areum stepped up and helped explain the phrases to her friends in the simplest words.

“What Namra meant is that even if the entire world has turned into zombies, let’s not lose hope.” Areum explained while glancing at each of her friends as Namra nodded along in her words. The class president gave her a small smile as a token of gratitude.

“I see. So that’s what that means?” Daesu muttered in understanding.

“Prez. It’s best to make a plan and try to stick to it, but we’re not all top students and we can’t be as smart as you, Areum or Joonyeong. Being logical isn’t part of human nature” Onjo added as Areum could see her facial expression turned to annoyance for delaying the drone from searching Cheongsan.

“Onjo-ah, in a crisis like this, I think it’s better to be logical. Besides, Namra just wants to tell all of us not to lose hope after we see the situation outside of our school. No need to be mad.” Areum uttered, trying to lessen the tension between her two friends.

“Right now, we need hope more rather than logic. Don’t you think that’s the best right now?” The white hoodie girl remarked, staring at both the class president as well as the class vice president. Hearing her friend’s remark, Areum sighed in defeat as she moved her eyes away from Onjo.

“Hey. I think…Flying the drone is what we need right now.” Daesu mentioned as he pointed his index finger to the hovering drone. “Okay, try it.”

“Here I go.” Joonyeong informed as he moved the flying drone outside the room by the controller.

Through the small device on top of the desk, the rest of the students looked through the monitor as each of the classrooms in the school building were filled with zombies. Students and teachers had turned into zombies as the drone moved in a different direction.

“Oh, no. Everyone's turned.” Hyeryeong uttered in fear.

***********

They continued to look through the monitor as the drone flew through the school infirmary window. Areum could see how a mess the infirmary was as there were blood stains all over the curtains, tables and beds.

“There’s no one in the infirmary.” Wujin stated, standing in between Suhyeok and Daesu.

“Hey, Joonyeong. Go somewhere else.” Daesu instructed. The boy who controlled the drone nodded his head in understanding. The images in the monitor screen changed as they saw zombies were leaning their bodies over the opened window.

When Areum spotted one of the female zombies had an arrow pierced through its body after being pushed by another zombie. The black haired girl leaned forward to the monitor for a better look and she frowned her eyebrows when she clearly spotted the arrow on its body. Areum then shared a look with her cousin.

“Wait. Hold on. Stop right there.” Wujin ordered.

“That’s an arrow, right?” Areum asked as she turned to look at Wujin.

“Where?” Daesu uttered as he was unable to spot it.

“This.” Wujin pointed to the arrow that pierced the female zombie’s body on the small screen.

“You’re right. It is an arrow. Why? What’s wrong with that? it?” Daesu muttered in concern as his best friend still stared at the monitor in disbelief.

“My older sister.” Wujin simply stated.

“I thought Hari unnie had a competition today. I heard our grandparents talking about it yesterday morning.” Areum commented as she looked for her cousin’s confirmation.

“She did. She’s supposed to have a competition today.” Wujin confirmed as he glanced at Areum.

After passing a few of the classrooms in the school building, the group of students was not able to find Cheongsan in any of the rooms as the zombies had started to follow the flying drone. Unable to find her childhood friend had made Onjo very anxious on her feets as she continued to watch the small screen on top of the desk.

“Where the hell did Cheongsan go?” Suhyeok whispered as he watched the screen. All of the students were silent when they were unable to find Cheongsan after passing every classroom on the school hallway.

Areum gasped in shock when she saw one of the student’s bodies had hung herself to death outside of the school building when Joonyeong flew the drone outside of the building.

When Joonyeong flew the drone higher to the room on the next floor of the school building, the group of students instantly saw Cheongsan in the music room, who was looking at something in the distance.

“It’s Cheongsan.” Onjo notified once she saw her childhood friend. “What room is that?”

“Yah, Cheongsan!” Suhyeok called beside Onjo. Areum smiled in relief when they finally found the missing boy alive and was hiding in one of the classrooms.

“He…he can’t hear you.” Joonyeong mentioned as he controlled the flying drone closer to the window.

“Hye, Lee Cheongsan!” The white hoodie girl cried.

“He can’t hear you.” The boy with glasses repeated after his friends ignored his statement earlier.

“Onjo, it’s okay. Cheongsan is alive!” Suhyeok uttered in relief as he quickly hugged Onjo with excitement. “Cheongsan is alive.”

Sitting near her group of friends, Areum spotted from the corner of her eyes that Suhyeok went to hug Onjo in excitement after seeing Cheongsan through the monitor screen. Instantly a smile disappeared from her face when she looked at Suhyeok hugging Onjo in relief.

Realising that he was hugging the girl that had crushed on him, Suhyeok immediately glanced toward Areum’s direction. The black haired girl had given a half-hearted smile when she saw Suhyeok looked at her and quickly averted her attention away from him.

Suhyeok quickly pulled away from the hug as he glanced toward Areum before joining his friends observing Cheongsan through the small screen. Unknown to him, Onjo was a bit flustered after he hugged her as she tried to calm her racing heartbeat.

“What is he doing? Where’s he going?” The plump boy rhetorically asked as he watched closer to the monitor screen. “Look this way! Over here! Where are you going, you stupid moron?” Daesu yelled to the screen.

“He can’t hear you, Daesu!” Joonyeong claimed, tired after repeatedly telling his friends about this.

“My bad.” The plump boy apologised. Areum glanced at her close friend as the class president went to the door entrance and placed her right ear against the wooden door. Areum scrunched her face in confusion as she observed her friend’s action.

“Didn’t you say the battery was low?” Areum heard Jimin asked beside her.

“Yes. I couldn’t fully charge it, so it’s almost dead.” Joonyeong mentioned as he still controlling the drone.

“Now that we know for sure where Cheongsan is, let’s go look somewhere. We also wanted to check outside and ask for help.” Jimin uttered.

Areum watched in puzzled as Namra walked back to her seat, silently asking what was on her mind. The class president mouthed the word later as she turned her gaze back toward the screen to see the situation outside of the school.

“Onjo, is that okay?” Jimin asked permission from the white hoodie girl.

“Mm-hmm. Now that we know he’s alive.” Onjo agreed with Jimin’s suggestion.

“Okay, here we go.” The boy with glasses notified as he flew the drone outside of the school premises.

“Whoa. It’s totally Zombieland out there.” Daesu commented as he saw the increasing numbers of zombies in the school yard.

“I think we should look outside of the school. So, we’ll know what kind of situation there is.” Areum proposed as Suhyeok stared at her. The black haired girl looked at everyone but him. Seeing Areum avoiding looking in his direction, Suhyeok knew that something was wrong with the beauty.

“I agree with Areum.” Namra commented.

“Let’s go outside of the school premises.” Suhyeok instructed as he glanced toward Joonyeong. The boy with glasses mumbled the word okay as he flew the drone through the school gate.

Then, the drone showed the images of the main road near the school as the cars were abandoned in the middle of the road. Through the small screen, Areum could see there was an accident in front of their school gate as smoke could be seen from the car crash.

“Wait.” Jimin suddenly announced. Areum watched Jimin’s face turn into dejectful as she continued to stare at the small monitor.

“What is it?” Joonyeong asked in surprise.

“Wait a second.” Jimin breathed shakily as her friends curiously watched her. “Wait.” Jimin started to sob.

“What is it?” Hyeryeong asked as she saw her friend cry. “What’s wrong, Jimin?”

“Wait a minute.” Jimin whimpered as tears started to come down from her eyes. “I…I can’t.”

“What? What is it?” Joonyeong questioned when he heard someone crying.

“That’s…That’s my dad’s car.” Jimin whimpered as she watched her father’s white truck from the screen.

“Which one?” The boy with glasses questioned. “The white one? Or the black one?”

“The white truck. It’s my dad.” Jimin cried as she pointed to the white truck on the monitor screen.

“Don’t worry. I’m sure there are lots of cars like that.” Onjo reassured the crying girl.

“Hang on. I’ll check.” Joonyeong offered as he guided the drone closer to the white truck near the school gate.

Once Joonyeong brought the drone closer to the truck, Areum watched two people inside the truck had turned into zombies. In an instant, Jimin started to wail after seeing both of her parents becoming zombies. Areum watched with downhearten as Jimin covered her face while crying her heart out after witnessing her parents.

Areum went to comfort the crying girl as she wrapped her arms around Jimin’s shoulder, letting the crying girl lean against her shoulder as she started to breathe heavily. Joonyeong removed the virtual glasses from his eyes when the drone no longer had batteries as the zombies smashed the drone on the concrete road.
