Decorating

Peters POV

"I think we've got enough stuff y/n. Maybe we can head back now."

She smiled at me as we carried bags full of lights and other decorations for her house and mine.

"Fine." She groaned. I laughed as we got on a bus and sat down.

When we got to my building, we walked up to my apartment and when we reached it, we saw that May had set up the tree. Y/n and I set the bags down on the couch and I went over to May.

"Tree is set up, so you two get to decorating. I'm going to the store to get some groceries. I'll see you later Peter."

"Bye May." I hugged her before she left.

I turned back to Y/n and saw her starting to unravel the lights. She played in the colorful mass, looking as beautiful as ever. Her eyes shine bright as she examined the tangled lights. She was making her focused face, which I find adorable. Her face was also full of wonder and joy. I'm glad that it's back.

After a moment of admiring her, I went over and sat on the ground in front of her. She lightly laughed as I grabbed the other end of the lights and started to untangle them. When I was almost done unraveling my side of the lights, y/n took her strand of lights and placed them around my shoulders. I looked up at her and chuckled as she smiled and laughed. She pulled me closer and I felt my lips touch hers. I smiled as she pulled away and she reached into her pocket and pulled out a piece of paper.

"I forgot to give you this at school yesterday, so here it is."

I took the paper from her and unfolded it.

gx - 7i > 3(3x - 7u)

My eyes went from the paper to her eyes, "A math equation?"

"Solve it."

I grabbed a pencil and started to solve it.

gx - 7i > 3(3x - 7u)
gx - 7i > gx - 21u
      -7i > -21u
      7i  < 21u
I looked up at her starting to see the answer.
        i <3 u

"I love you too." I said before giving her one more kiss, "We should work on the tree. This was your idea anyway."

"Whatever you say Spidey." She grabbed the lights and started to put them on the tree.

The rest of the day I spent with her. When we finished at my place, we went to her house to decorate. Her dad never left us alone but at least we were together. Everything just seemed so perfect, like the thing with the guy never happened. It seemed like nothing could go wrong. That's at least what I thought.

Oof. Well... Sorry to leave this on a bit of a cliffhanger and sorry it's a short part. I promise the next one will be longer. Whose point of view should I start with for the next part? (Peter, yours, 3rd person) Thanks for reading!
