One day, Hilda was helping her mother wash the dishes. She washed plates, cups, bowls, cutlery, and lids.

Johanna: "Now, be careful, Hilda. Make sure you dry it good, so it doesn't slip out of your hands."

Hilda: "Don't worry, mum. I've got this."

But she heard a car beep in the distance, causing her to fling the plate out of her hands, fly trough the window, and land on Johanna's car! The shattered plate scratched the car's paint, and the windows were cracked!  Johanna was furious. She went red in the face, and made a fist.

Johanna: "I told you to be careful, Hilda!"

Hilda: "It was an accident! I got scared by that car horn!"

Johanna: "That's no excuse, young lady! You are grounded until I say so. Now go to your room."

Hilda: "No!"

Johanna: "Excuse me?!"

Hilda: "I said NO! Keep your mouth shut!"

Johanna: "How dare you talk back to me like that!

Hilda: "HOW DARE YOU GET MAD OVER A LITTLE ACCIDENT!"

They didn't know that Lighting McQueen was outside hearing everything.

Lighting McQueen: "This is all my fault. I never should've honked my horn. I'll try to make it up to her."
