Hilda was now a driver, and the engine she was assigned to was none other than Edward the Blue Engine. Hilda drove him from Wellsworth, all the way to Knapford. She also helped with the goods train to Crosby. She had a wonderful time. Later one day, she was sitting in her mobile home.

Edward: "So, Hilda. How do you like your new job?"

Hilda: "It's good. But I don't want my mum to find me. Point is, I had fun. I like being a driver."

Edward: "Don't worry, Hilda. I'll make sure Johanna doesn't find you."

Just then, Hilda whistled like Edward!

Edward: "Did you... Did you just impersonate my whistle?!"

Hilda: "Yes."

Edward: "That was amazing!"

Edward then blew his whistle. And Hilda tried again. They laughed.
