Tara: Update NOW!

Darcy: Oh when I suggest I ask for an update it's 'being much' but when you do it.. urgh can you guys believe this woman?

Mr Silence 🕵️‍♂️: Oh be quiet you two love each other really.

Tara: True 💛

Mr Silence 🕵️‍♂️: Where's the update though?

Mr Ajayi stood up, "Ladies and gentlemen, the Best Man and Maid of Honour" Elle and Tao walked arms interlocked with his partner down the aisle and they took their respective positions.

(Charlie's POV) 

Fuck, okay Elle was gone, and I was freaking the FUCK out, I was stood in my boxers just staring at the suit I'd picked out, pink jacket, pink shirt and pink trousers with a white tie, it was beautiful, but I couldn't bring myself to put the bloody thing on; I was supposed to be walking down the aisle with Nick in ten minutes but I was just thinking about how skinny I am, all the scars, how I don't deserve Nick and how one day he'll realise it and I'll be left alone and now I'm crying ohmygod it's my wedding day and I'm crying and ohhhh. "Charlie?" I looked at the door to see my stunning fiancée stood there in the exceptional white suit he'd picked out with the pink tie in the centre "N- Nick?" I said in a pathetically weak voice, sitting down and holding my arms out, knowing that he would immediately take me in his arms "Heyyyyy, what's wrong Char? No tears on the wedding day what's going on?" He squeezed me hard and gently ran his hand up and down my eyes "Talk to me, c'mon" I took deep breaths and explained "I just, the suit, I look disgusting and you look amazing and I just don't want you to regret this I'm s-" "NO, no Char, do not even try to apologise on our wedding day, understood?" I nodded in acceptance "Good, now stand up" I did, bizarrely, Nick proceeded to dress me in my suit, I wouldn't normally like this but I felt like he was putting armor on me, it was.. empowering, and as he did my tie up he stood back to admire his handiwork "How do I look?" I asked tentatively, "Absolutely perfect" He said smiling at me. 

Then he stepped closer and cupped my face in his hands, I closed my eyes and held his waist, then I felt a slight kiss on my forehead, "Charles Francis Spring, you are my life, you are everything, now, are you ready to marry me?" I immediately responded "Yes, yes please" and we both laughed. Nick held out his arm and we walked from the room to the corridor leading to the beginning of the aisle. Nick took a step forward but I pulled him back turning to face him "What's wrong?" I put my hands around his neck "It's just, when we come out of there we're going to be in a whole new section of our lives, and you, you've been the best boyfriend I could have ever hoped for, and... I want you to know, I will be the best husband I can be fo-" "No Char, you are going to be" he kissed me on the cheek "the" another kiss on the other cheek "best" a kiss on the forehead "husband" and a final kiss on the lips "EVER! now let's do it!" I smiled at him "Let's do it" and we walked around the corner.

"Ladies and gentlemen, the grooms" and the group stood, me and Nick had decided to have very few people in attendance, notably David was NOT here, notably Michael had managed to make it after threats of murder from Tori. We slowly walked our way down the two lines of attendees, I thought I saw a tear fall from Aled's eye, then Tori and even my mother, in contrast looking at Sarah I saw her balling her eyes out, we seperated to a pace distance when we reached the lectern with Mr Ajayi stood behind it. "Ladies and gentlemen, be seated" and everyone sat. Mr Ajayi began his speech "Marriage was once an institution to bind one person to another, now? It is an instrument through which people demonstrate the highest level of love and commitment to one another. Today we have the pleasure of witnessing such a union, between Charles and Nicholas, two men who have loved each other for many years, I know this because I myself was privileged enough to watch their love develop from the beginning, just like all of you, Nick and Charlie have written their own vows, which they will now deliver to each other, Nick, please" 

Nick took a deep breath and took my hands "Charlie, from the moment I met you I knew there was something special about you, of course, at the time I didn't realise that in that moment I'd met the person I'd be spending the rest of my life with, that would take me a little while to figure out, thing is, I actually found out not too long after that. Charlie when we went on our first date at the beach and you ran down to join me in the sea I knew then, when you were in my arms, that I would forever want to have you with me. Charlie I swear so long as you want me I will love you, treasure you, value you, empower you and pick you up when you fall. Charlie you are the love of my life and I cannot wait to start the next part of our journey together" Mr Ajayi dabbed a handkerchief to his eye "Charlie, if you would" And I smiled at Nick and squeezed his hand "Nick, I fell in love with you the moment I saw you, first it was your smile, then when we spoke it was your friendly gentle giant demeanor, all these years later I have not found a single negative trait to your character, early in our relationship I needed you, I hit my low, and you picked me up, several times, Nick you've done more for me than I could have ever expected anyone to do, so I promise as we move into the next stage our lives together that I will never take you for granted, that our life together will be my first priority, I love you more than you could ever know" Mr Ajayi once more dabbed his eye "The rings please" And Oliver stepped forward and gave us both the rings and a hug each. Ollie had been a staple part of me and Nick's relationship, we both loved him so much and having him give us the rings felt right. 

"Charlie please place the ring on Nick's finger and repeat after me, 'Nick, with this ring I thee wed'" and with the biggest smile I put the ring on his finger "Nick, with this ring, I thee wed" Nick blushed and took the ring from Ollie, "Nick, please place the ring on Charlie's finger and repeat after me 'Charlie, with this ring I thee wed'" and he did so, It was an exceptional feeling, and I knew this ring was never going to come off my finger, I looked at Mr Ajayi waiting for him to tell me to kiss my now husband, he smiled, "You may now seal your union with a kiss" and Nick released my arms and held my waist, what was somewhat embarrassing though was that after all these years I still needed to go on my tippie toes to kiss him properly, even here, at our wedding. The kiss reminded me of the one Nick put on me the morning after Harry's Greene's party, it was reassuring, warm and just filled me with joy. When it was done we broke apart and took each others hands "Ladies and Gentlemen it is my pleasure to introduce Mr Charles Francis, and Nicholas Luke, Nelson! The Nelsons!" and our family and friends all erupted into cheers and clapping, Elle and Tao both ran to us and we all had a group hug.

(Nick's POV) 

I didn't want a wedding reception, Charlie didn't want a wedding reception, but here we are at the wedding reception, basically everyone but Aled had insisted that we had to do a Party, I hated the idea, the only thing which would be nice would be our dance, but even now I think Charlie was getting nervous about it, we'd chose a simple menu, soup followed by fish and chips and finished with brownie bites, all designed to make sure Charlie didn't feel pressured into eating a lot, but despite that Charlie was just poking the fish and struggling "Hey? What's up" I asked him "Nothing, sorr-" "Mr Nelson..." I said in a warning tone, Charlie immediately blushed "Oh, that's going to take some getting used to.. haha, yeah, sorry I'm just worried about the dance, the staring" he said staring at the fish. I sighed, "Char, lets just do speeches and go upstairs? I hate all this attention, I just wanna be with you, you know?" and he finally looked at me with a small smile, "Really? Oh that'd be amazing".

I stood up clinging my glass "Everyone, silence for the Maid of Honor!" and Elle seemingly prepared herself and stood "Friends! What a day its been! We've had the bringing together of the two most perfectly matched people I have ever known, I have difficulty thinking about Charlie without Nick or thinking about Nick without Charlie! All I have to say is that I will always be here for the both of you, to Nick and Charlie!" She finished raising her glass "Nick and Charlie" the crowd echoed. "The best man!" I shouted standing up. "Thank you Nicholas, hello all, I'm Tao, Nick's best man, yeah, which is quite weird because when these two started dating I tried to break them up and I hated Nick, but... I have never been happier to be wrong in my life, Nick has proved himself time and time again and I am so happy to be able to be a part of their journey, to Nick and Charlie!" "Nick and Charlie" they again echoed. "Ladies and gentlemen, enjoy the bar, enjoy the dance floor, but me and my husband are done for the evening, goodnight" I said, taking Charlie's hand and walking away, once into the hallway I picked him up, "Nick!" Charlie shouted in surprise "No, husband, I'm carrying you to the room, deal with it, also, um, I may have arranged a surprise for us in the room, prepare yourself" I held him all the way to the door and opened it, "You cannot be serious..." he began, failing due to the sheer ridiculousness of the situation "What? I like it!" I protested, "Nick it was ONE TIME" at that I broke into laughter. "Nickkkkkkkkk" "Urgh fineeeee" and I dove onto the the pillow fort destroying it immediately. Charlie immediately jumped onto me "I love you Nick Nelson" he said, holding my face, "I love you more, Charlie Nelson"
