Elle: Why do I think this is going to be.. difficult?

Nick: Fine, I think I need to... do something

Elle: What does that mean?

Nick: Well Charlie is scared of going long distance (sorry I know this isn't a great topic for discussion with you two) but I want to show him that I'm committed to HIM.

Tao: How are you going to do that?

Elle: Yeah, the idea is cute in principle but how are you going to execute it?

Nick: Well I don't know that's WHY I'M HERE ASKING FOR HELP?!

Tao: Fair, I mean, you could take the plunge? That's defo showing commitment?

Nick: Ha, ha , ha. No we're too young to get engaged.

Elle: Charlie would defo accept that though that's what's so funny.

Tao: Ikr

Nick: What the hell are you two talking about?

Elle: If you proposed, Charlie would accept in a heartbeat

Nick: Oh piss off

Tao: Are you kidding? Charlie literally only wants to be with you. That's like.. all he wants.

Nick: Oh shit.

Elle: Is that really news Nick?

Tao: Nick?

Mr Silence 🕵️‍♂️: Evening

Curtain head 💆: Uhh, everythin alright?

Literal Jock 🏈: Can we all go to the bowling alley tonight?

Tara: YOOOO we're in!

Charlie bear: Nick WTF YOU'VE BEEN AIRING ME ALL DAY!?

Literal Jock 🏈: All will become clear Charles, just come to the bowling alley.

Mr Silence 🕵️‍♂️: Well I'll come too

Curtain hair 💆: I'll be there

Our Queen 👑: Naturally me too

Literal Jock 🏈: I gotta go, phone's gonna die, see you at the bowling alley at 7!

Mr Silence 🕵️‍♂️: Okay? See you guys later!

Curtain hair 💆: Elle...

Our Queen 👑: I know.

Charlie bear: GUYS?! WTF

Tao: NICK NELSON

Nick: ?

Tao: WHAT are you doing?

Elle: Why are you ignoring Charlie, he's low-key freaking out?!

Nick: Don't worry, you'll see tonight.

(Nick and Charlie's texts throughout the day)

(6:11AM) Char: Good morning beautiful, I had a dream that I was lost in a forest and you couldn't find me, it was SUPER vivid and scary. Why aren't you here for cuddles every morning smh. Not good enough Nelson ;>

(8:44AM) Char: Goodness you're normally up by now?

(10:10AM) Char: Hey, I'm getting a bit worried, everything okay?

(12:40PM) Char: So I just popped round your house... your mom said you left early? Nick please just tell me you're okay?!

(12:45PM) Char: I'm officially freaking out :)

(13:02PM) Char: WHAT DID I DO?! YOU'LL TALK TO EVERYONE BUT ME? NICK NELSON PLEASEEE TALK TO ME, WHAT IS GOING ON?!

(18:30PM) Char: When I get to the bowling alley me and you are going to be having words Mr!

Nick: Good evening handsome.

Charlie: NI- wait, why are you wearing a tuxedo? Where is everyone?

Nick: They're waiting over by the disco floor, I could only afford to rent this place for an evening but thought I'd do this properly y'know?

Charlie: Of course, yeah obviously. Nick?

Nick: Yeah?

Charlie: What exactly is 'this'?

Nick: Haha, come on you. Let's dance.

Aled: Damn, those two know how to slow-dance!

Tao: You can say that again..

Elle: This dancefloor is massive, come on you, I'll even let you lead, this time.

Charlie: Holy crap this is magical Nick, you look like a prince or something.

Nick: I know, I'm amazing.

Charlie: Oh shut up.

Nick: No, you love me really.

Charlie: Yes, I do.

Nick: And I love you, I love you more than words can say. Are you still worried about long distance?

Charlie: Nick, I don't wanna think about it, please.

Nick: Hey- hey- no tears, maybe this will help?

Nick hands Charlie a small fabric jewellery box and he smiles at Charlie's confusion, he opens it to reveal a silver heart on a silver necklace engraved on the heart is 'Nick' and Nick takes off his bowtie to reveal he is wearing the same necklace with 'Charlie' engraved on it. He takes the necklace off and shows the two magnetically click at the back. Charlie puts his hand to his mouth and begins crying, Nick immediately wraps him in a hug.

Nick: I wonder, how is anything supposed to go wrong wrong when I'm leaving my heart here with you?

Charlie: Fuck sake he says through the tears how long did it take you to think of that one?

Nick: All day, now lets dance you ridiculous beautiful man...

Charlie: How did I get you?

Nick: Oh please, you had me at 'hi' I had no chance.
