Leafy's POV:
Baking time! I work at Edible Objects after school on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I love working here. It's so fun and exciting. Maybe this will take my mind off of the "Romeo and Juliet" incident. I thought to myself. I went to the back to start baking some stuff. "Hey, Leafy?" Bubble asked. She works here too. "This customer wants a yoylecake," she continued. "Sure," I answered and began making it. After putting all the ingredients in, I poured the batter into the container and put it in the oven. While I waited, Bubble said, "Leafy, someone wants an orange cream cake!" "Okay, sure!" I called back and began making the cake. By the time I had finished making the batter, the yoylecake was ready. I took it out of the oven and put some icing on it with extra yoyleberries. I put the other cake in the oven and walked out with the yoylecake. "Here you go!" I said as I handed it to Bubble. She smiled and I saw Firey sitting at the counter. I guess he's the one who ordered the orange cream cake. I thought to myself. I waved and he waved back. I walked back to check on the cake.

Firey's POV:
I sit here at this counter waiting for my cake. Why am I speaking like this? Anyway, I watched Leafy go back to the kitchen and I saw TB walk it. "Hey TB," I said. "Hi Firey," he replied. "Whatcha doing?" "Just waiting for my cake. You?" I asked. "I was studying and then got hungry so, I came here," he replied. "Cool," I said (Oh the irony). Everything after that went so quickly. I heard Leafy say, "Okay, here's one ora- WAH!!!" and then I felt my face get covered in cake.

Leafy's POV:
Please tell me that didn't just happen. Oh no, this is not good. I stared at him for a few seconds, not knowing what to do. Then I handed him a napkin. He took a bit of cake and tasted it. "Leafy, this cake's really good," he told me and then laughed. I ended up laughing too. He took a few more napkins and wiped the rest of the cake from his face. "Well, that certainly woke me up," he continued laughing. "Sorry about that Firey," I apologized. "Ah, it's okay. Just an interesting way to know that this tastes really good!" he answered. I smiled and laughed. Other people started looking at us like we were crazy. But I didn't care. Every moment I get to spend with Firey is amazing.

Firey's POV:
That cake was really good. I think it was because Leafy made it. TB got some cake on himself too, but not that much. He wiped the cake off his glasses and laughed. "Sorry TB," Leafy apologized. "It's alright Leafy," TB said with a smile. Just then, Golf Ball walked in. "Uh, what happened here?" she asked with a puzzled look. TB, Leafy, and I just laughed and then TB explained what happened. GB laughed after hearing what happened. "Well, TB and I should probably get going. We're going to go study for the science test," GB said. Leafy and I said bye to TB and GB as they left and from the look on Leafy's face, I could tell we were thinking the same thing. "They are so in love," we said simultaneously. We looked at each other and laughed. "Jinx," she said suddenly. "Really?" I asked. She's always the first to say jinx. She laughed as I handed her a dollar. She grabbed a soda from the fridge and opened it. I technically just bought a soda for her, since I owed her one for the jinx thing. She took a sip of her lime-flavored soda. I paid for another soda and asked Leafy for an orange-flavored one. She grabbed one for me and I took a sip from it. It was quite refreshing. "Cheers," I said as I held out my soda can. "Cheers," Leafy laughed as she clinked her soda can against mine. I laughed too. I completely forgot about the "Romeo and Juliet" incident for now and I'm quite sure Leafy did too.
