y/n and cheong-san were now inside the music room, the two huffing as they tried to catch their breaths. as they were about to relax, they heard sudden noises coming from the other end of the room.

cheong-san was cautious enough to grab a chair and walk towards the source of noise slowly, whereas y/n just seemed to not care and walked towards it normally.

a zombie was underneath the piano, snarling and trying to go towards the girl, it's feet probably hitting the keys. cheong-san came up behind her, sighing upon the fact that the zombie was contained, somewhat. the two were focused upon looking at the creature on the floor, that they didn't notice a small drone flying outside the window.

y/n walked away from the scene, walking towards a chair. she then began to strip herself of her jackets, the boy with her freezing and turning around, flustered upon the sight of her skin exposed. "what are you doing!? put your clothes back on!!"

y/n furrowed a brow. "what are you on about? i'm wearing a tank top underneath, it's alright."

slowly, yet hesitantly, cheong-san turned around, looking at the girl's face. she was right, allowing him to sigh in relief that the girl didn't just start to undress herself to her bra.

"ya, cheong-san, can you like, tie me up to something. like strong enough to hold me from trying to run at you and bite you." she asked, well, told him.

"why? did something happen to you?" he asked, concerned.

"eh..." she let out, "i got like a massive cut on my hand a bit of zombie blood got on it. so i might turn into one."

cheong-san's eyes widened. normally, if he heard someone say something like that, he'd try to back away from them. but for y/n, he just couldn't.

carefully, he walked towards her. y/n was confused upon this. "why are you walking towards me? i just told you i might turn into a zombie?"

cheong-san shook his head, placing his hands on her bare shoulders as she looked into her eyes. "no. your not. i'm not believing that until i actually see you turn with my own eyes." he stated shakily, denying the fact. "besides, if you were turning, you would've shown symptoms already... like your nose bleeding, or your skin really pale, or-"

"but what if i am? i don't want to put you in danger..." the girl stated, a frown gracing her face.

"your not, okay?" cheong-san stated softly, bringing the girl towards his chest, hugging her. "you'll be fine, i promise."

her emotions did a full 180. just then, she was so happy, excited, full of energy as she killed those zombies. but now, as reality hit her, she was agitated. she didn't want to turn into a zombie. she didn't want to leave this world yet. she didn't want to leave her friends...

"cheong-san?" she called out, her head beside his as her arms laid limp onto her side, slowly moving up to clutch onto the boy's top. "if i do turn into a zombie, tell wu-jin i'm sorry, yeah? and tell hi-"

"you can tell him yourself, y/n." cheong-san pulled away, holding her at arms length. "your not going not going to turn into a zombie. it's probably been a while since the blood got in you, and your not turning into one."

she inhaled sharply, before nodding slowly. "fine. okay then."

she walked away from the boy, walking towards one of the curtains, and harshly pulling it. it ripped from the top, giving her a white large piece of cloth. cheong-san had a clue of what she was doing, so he followed her, helping her out as he grabbed the sheet, ripping it into different sized pieces.

as he did this, y/n had grabbed the large bottle of hand sanitiser at the front of the room, as there wasn't any better alternative. as she did so, she found a metal flask on the floor. she grabbed the object, remembering the rumours about the choir teacher drinking during work, so this most likely belonged to him. she returned back to cheong-san, sitting on the chair. "i'll help you, yeah? let's start with your hand first."

she nodded wordlessly, opening her her palm facing up. cheong-san grimaced at the sight. dark red blood was slowly trickling down her hand, as a deep gouge was visible, pulsating slightly as if it had its own heartbeat.

"can you feel your hand? like is it numb?" cheong-san asked, crouching down in front of her with the sanitiser and a clean piece of the curtain.

y/n merely nodded her head, as the boy in front of her took this as a sign to start. however, as he was about to pump some of the hand sanitiser onto the cloth, y/n opened the flask, smelling it, then tasting it, then beginning to pour it a over her hand.

"YAH- FUCK! OKAY - SHIT - THAT HURTS!" she yelled mentally as she shut her eyes, cheong-san widening his eyes as she almost retreated her head. he held onto her hand that was holding the flask. he then grabbed the clean piece of cloth, carefully yet swiftly wiping the blood off.

"where'd you get the alcohol from- never mind that!" cheong-san began to wipe the blood from her hand, disinfecting the wound as blood began to wear off. as the flask was almost finished, y/n stopped, closing the lid. she opened her eyes, pupils glancing over to the boy in front of her, then down to her hand.

you could actually see it now! like her (s/c) skin was actually visible and not covered in blood. i mean, there was still blood seeping from it, but it was less than before. as cheong-san finished cleaning it, he grabbed another long piece of cloth, pumping a bit of hand sanitiser in the middle, then spreading it.

"kay y/n, i just needa cover your hand now, this will also hurt-"

"stop talking cheong-san and do it!" she cut the boy off, somewhat scaring him as he began to cover her wound, the middle going over the open cut. she hissed once more, scrunching her eyes and clutching the arm of the chair beside her, which i might add was denting.

"and... your done." the boy stated, tying the wrap with a secure tie. y/n sighed, deflating onto the chair behind her.

cheong-san then grabbed two other pieces of cloth, this time pumping a bunch of hand sanitiser on it just to get it damp enough.

"now we just gotta remove all the blood of you, and clean your smaller wounds." the boy stated, eyes scanning the dried blood that patched her skin.

y/n groaned, yet nodded. she took the other damp cloth from him, beginning to wipe her face with it, as cheong-san started with her leg.

as they did this silently, the sudden squeak was heard coming from the speakers. this caused y/n wince, flinching as the high pitched noise caused pain to her ears. followed by that noise, were the familiar voices that belonged to her friends.

"anyone?"

"i've never done this before."

"somebody's got to do it though. dae-su?"

a sigh was heard. "here goes nothing..."
