"We confirmed the cursed womb's existence about 3 hours ago. Citizens nearby were evacuated, but 5 patients were left in the inmates' hospital second lodge with the cursed womb. If this cursed womb can metamorphose... it will most likely become a high-grade," Ijichi explained to us.

Itadori then brought up how he didn't really get all this Jujutsu level stuff so Ijichi explained it in a way even idiots could understand for him.

I then learned Gojo-sensei was away on a business trip so this wouldn't exactly be fair. 4 first year sorcerers going up against a high-grade?

"Excuse me! Excuse me!" I turned around to see a woman in extreme worry. "Is my son alright?"

"There's a chance that the poison has spread. I cannot disclose any more information than this. Please understand," Ijichi told her sincerely.

The woman broke down, losing all hope. I could feel her pain but this is exactly what curses originate from: negative emotions.

"Fushiguro. Kugisaki. Sato. We're going to save them," Itadori said, a determined look on his face.

"Of course," Nobara replied.

Megumi and I nodded.

"That which frightens darkness more than itself... that which is darker than black... Purify this defilement." Ijichi's words created this black liquid? that covered up the area.

"It's a 'screen,'" Megumi explained. "We'll be hidden from the outside." He summoned his Shikigami dog and we headed inside.

As soon as we got in, we were all shocked. Sure enough, Itadori and Nobara started somewhat panicking.

"The door!" Megumi yelled. We looked back behind us and the door was in fact gone.

"What?! I thought we came in through there, right?" Nobara pointed at where the door was and Itadori nodded.

"What should we do? What should we do?" Itadori and Nobara walked around in a circle. They were way too calm.

"Don't worry. The dog remembers the scent of the exit and entrance," Megumi reassured us. I smiled.

"Oh wow ~" Itadori and Nobara started playing with the dog.

"Ruffle, ruffle, ruffle. Good boy!"

"Jerky! Bring all the jerky and give it to this good dog!"

"You guys are too calm!" Megumi scolded them, as if reading my mind.

"You're certainly reliable, Fushiguro," Itadori said, smiling. "We're all saved because of you."

Megumi didn't say anything.

"Let's go forward," I said.

After a little bit, we arrived in a part of the building where we found disfigured bodies. It was definitely a gruesome sight to see, but I had to get used to it.

"I'm taking this body back," Itadori said after examining the name tag of one of the dead bodies. Sure, it wasn't as bad as the others, but the other half of it was still missing.

"No. Leave it," Megumi said, grabbing Itadori.

"But when we looked back behind us, the path we came from vanished," Itadori protested.

"I didn't say 'do it later.' I said 'leave it.'"

Itadori grabbed Megumi's clothes. "What do you mean?"

"Information about the scene was given to us sorcerers beforehand. This man was driving without a license and hit a little girl on her way home from school." Itadori was quiet. "You really fuss over leading a lot of people to the 'right death.' But what would happen if those people you saved killed others in the future?"

"Then why did you save me?!"

"Cut it out!!!" Nobara yelled.

"There's a time and place for-" I began but fell into a black hole with Nobara.

Megumi's POV

"Kugi... saki?" Itadori slowly let go of my collar.

"Sa... to?" Wait! The jade hound! I turned around to see my Shikigami killed.

"Itadori! We're gonna run! We can search for the 2 girls late... er..."

Itadori and I both froze. A curse was standing right next to us.

Move, move, move!

I seriously couldn't move and instead Itadori was the first one to put up a fight. He attempted to kill the curse but failed, getting his hand cut off in the process.

"Ita... dori...?"

Y/N's POV

"Wait! Where are we? It's completely dark, I can't see!" Nobara yelled next to me.

"I can feel... a curse's presence! Why... Why are they so many?!" I said.

Then... Curses with what seemed like baby porcelain doll heads appeared and floated around in the darkness in front of us.

No...

Megumi's POV

I summoned Nue and escaped as I ran as far away from Itadori as I could.

I flashbacked to what happened earlier. I'm trusting you, Itadori.

So don't die! Kugisaki and Sato, too!!

I summoned a shadow dog. "Search for Kugisaki and Sato!" I ordered.

Y/N's POV

"Kugisaki!" I yelled. She was being held upside down by a curse.

We had defeated as much as we could, but eventually I ran out of knives, and she ran out of nails.

"I remembered your face, OK? I'm gonna curse you," she said to it.

"Take me first! I'm sure I'd be much... tastier!" I yelled.

I took one last look around me. While me and Nobara defeated most of those porcelain doll spirits or whatever, I wasn't of much use even though I was a Semi Grade 1 sorcerer.

I couldn't use my Time Manipulation technique here, and I ran out of my cursed knives. But even though I was good in agility and combat, that was also no use since the curses were practically floating earlier. I was able to kill the mushroom ones on the ground though. But then there's this big weird curse holding Nobara!

The curse dropped Nobara and picked me up, holding me upside down in the same way as it did with her.

"No, you can't!!!" Nobara yelled.

I smiled at her. "I can."

I was actually gonna pull a move on the curse, until I felt something wrap around my waist and I saw a snake bite the curse holding me. I was suddenly pulled back and landed inside a frog's mouth.

"Fushiguro..."

"Are you OK?" He asked me.

I didn't respond as I realized Itadori wasn't with him. Where is he?
