JACLYN MADE HER WAY DOWNSTAIRS TO EAT. Her mother was waiting for her at the dinner table. "Hey, baby" Jennifer greeted her. "Hey" Jaclyn said back. Jennifer ordered Chinese food because she was too tired to cook. "So, anything exciting going on in your life right now" Jennifer asked her daughter, taking a bite of her food. "Well there's this girl that I like" Jaclyn confesed to her mom. This made Jennifer smile. "Well who's the lucky girl" Jennifer asked her daughter. "Well....she doesn't know yet and I don't plan on telling her" Jaclyn said, nervously chuckling.

"Aww c'mon, why" Jennifer asked her daughter, curious who the girl is. "I can't tell you right now but I just don't want to get rejected, you know" Jaclyn said eating. "Okay but you have to tell people your feelings eventually" Jennifer told her daughter. "Oh trust me, people have told me that already and I don't think I can make it happen" Jaclyn said chuckling. Jennifer playfully glared at her daughter. The mother daughter duo joked around and finished eating their food.

Jaclyn was currently laying in her bed reading a book. Books always made her feel relaxed. She always liked to read in her free time and right now she wasn't doing anything so she decided to read.

Her phone ringing interrupted her reading. She groaned. "What now?" she mumbled. "Oh shit" she said when she checked the caller ID. It was Olivia. "Hey, what's up?" she asked when she answered the phone. "Okay, I need to talk to you" Olivia said. This made Jaclyn nervous. "S-sure what is it" Jaclyn stuttered. "So you know how i'm trying again with Josh" Olivia said. Jaclyn shut her eyes for a moment, this hurt her heart a little. "Yeah" she replied. "So we were face timing and we were like flirting I guess and I think it's the right time for me to ask him if we can try again" Olivia said, she sounded excited.

"Go for it, I mean if you think it's right then do it" Jaclyn said. Jaclyn tried her best to support her, that is the least she could do. "You think so" Olivia asked. "I know so" Jaclyn said. "Thanks Jax, it means a lot" Olivia said she was smiling. "Any time Ollie" Jaclyn said back. "Okay, I got to go, i'll call you later, I love you" Olivia said. "I love too, bye" Jaclyn said before hanging up. When she said 'I love you' she meant it, like she never has before. She knew Olivia meant it as well, but not like that. Jaclyn hated that she kept on getting her hopes up, she knows she is gonna end up hurt. She sighed and went back to reading her book to take her mind off of it, she really needed it.
