5 ; grocery shopping.

chapter V.

a few days had passed, and seonghwa could still be found in yeosang's small apartment. they'd gotten pretty much used to one another's company, and really couldn't complain about anything.

except for the fact that yeosang had to probably start grocery shopping for two ; favoring red foods especially for his guest.

nobody really knows why yeosang was so open to letting a vampire β€” a usual feared monster by the human race β€” into his home. his friend's questioned him, but, hell if he knows why he didn't protest to it. plus : they'll all die eventually, so why not let a 'sexy vampire' share a home with him for a while?

the sun had set and yeosang had risen up as if he was the one that couldn't be in the light. he needed to go grocery shopping, but he intended on bringing seonghwa with him so the vampire can pick out his own food.

"seonghwa." yeosang called to the male who was sitting on the couch.
he had his legs crossed, reading a book in one hand, and sipping a glass of tea in the other. he looked mighty regal in that moment.

"hm?"

"do you want to go grocery shopping with me?" the human asked as his pulled his coat of the racket, throwing it over his body.

"yes!" seonghwa replied eagerly, "this will be my first time out since i've landed here."

yeosang just smiled at the man's excitement. he led the vampire out of his apartment and to his car parked in the complex's parking lot.

"stay away from the vegetable aisle, that's where the garlic is." yeosang informed seonghwa who was trailing behind him.

"noted."

the two eventually separated. yeosang went to get actual food for his home while seonghwa was pretty much just looking around. it's been a while since he'd been to a human grocery store.

yeosang picked up some red meat, figuring that the vampire would like it better than poultry or fish.

around 30 minutes had passed, and they two had finally met again at the front of the store.

"are you done?" the human asked, to which seonghwa just nodded and put his items in the cart.

the vampire sure did have an expensive taste. a little too expensive for the college student.

he decided to ignore the cries of his wallet, and made his way to the checkout stand.

"yeosang." seonghwa called out. he then motioned to a stand that was set up just before the line.

red wine was on sale.

he guessed it wouldn't hurt to grab a few bottles for his home, so he did.

the duo finally made their way to the checkout stand. they were able to get out of the store quickly, but seonghwa did not fail to attract the lady behind the stand.

for some reason, yeosang got fairly upset when he saw the woman interacting with seonghwa. but he just figured that it was because he was tired, and ready to go home.
