1 ; intruder.

chapter I.

"ah yes, hongjoong hyung, i am here safely now." a tipsy, but almost sober yeosang spoke over the phone to his older friend. a group of him and a few of his friends from college decided to go out to drink, to celebrate their semester-finals ending.

yeosang sighed tiredly as he fumbled through his coat pocket a little, trying to find his apartment keys. he finally got them after what seemed like 10 minutes. he then unlocked the door to his apartment, just ready to quickly undress and go right to sleep.

he slipped off his coat laying it lazily beside the door, he would get it tomorrow. and he stepped out of his shoes and placed them next to the coat.

yawning, the boy walked slowly into his dim apartment, not even bothering to switch the lights on in the living area, he'd been living there long enough to be more than familiar with his surroundings. he made his way to the kitchen to get a glass of water before sleeping.

huh? that's weird. i don't remember leaving this open. yeosang thought to himself as he stared at his ajar balcony door in front of him. he just shook it off, and shut the door, not worrying too much about it.

okay, now this is getting a bit weird... the boy questioned as he walked into his kitchen to see the fridge open aswell. he knows that he wasn't drunk enough to be imagining all of this, and he certainly wasn't drunk when he left, which meant there was no way he forgot to close up the things in his house.

the sound of shattering glass pulled yeosang out from his thoughts, and his confusion was replaced with fear. he was definitely damn near sober now.

it was nearly 12am and he'd realized he wasn't the only person in his home. and why did the intruder go through the balcony anyways?

not really sure how to go about this situation, he walked closer to his refrigerator slowly, making sure not to alarm whatever was in there.

"damn. i suppose that is one more thing to clean up around here." the intruder complained as he stared at the glass on the floor.

okay, rude. yeosang knew he wasn't the cleanest person, but he was a college student. give him a break.

it's now or never, yeosang thought. in a swift motion he shut the fridge door and stood up straight.

"GAH!" he yelled as he was met with the sight of an unfamiliar โ€” and frankly quite handsome man in his home.

the man was rather tall, he had dark black hair, dressed in black clothing from head to toe, and his irises were glowing red.

ignoring his attraction to the intruder, yeosang spoke up again. "w- who are you? why are you in my house?"

"ah. let me in introduce myself," the other said as he pretended to dust of his clothes and stood up straight, "i am park seonghwa. and i certainly wasn't aware i was barging into the home of such a stunning creature."

what the hell. yeosang's going to ignore the handsome man's flirting, and the fact that him drinking isn't the only thing making his face turn red right now.

"why the hell did you come through the balcony?"

"oh." seonghwa chuckled. "i seemed to have missed a rather important detail about me. i am a vampire."

yeosang felt like the wind had just been knocked out of him, "a WHAT?"

"your ears do not deceive you."

"i thought that vampires couldn't enter unless they were invited in?" the silver-haired boy questioned, not even bringing up the fact that he thought vampires were a mere legend.

"that's just a silly myth humans spread amongst themselves. do not believe everything you hear, beautiful."

seonghwa began moving around the kitchen again, not paying any attention to the stunned male in the corner.

"well, i assume you are exhausted. shouldn't you be readying for bed?"

"how am i supposed to sleep knowing you're in my house?" the younger complained as he followed seonghwa, making sure he didn't touch or break anything else.

"oh, trust me, i would not hurt a fly." seonghwa scoffed, "the most i would do is clean up around here."

"i'm going to pass by the fact that you've insulted my cleanliness twice tonight."

seonghwa was right though, and yeosang did suppose that he'd been there for quite a while without doing anything too severe. he put a lot of trust in the 'vampire' by following what he said and actually going to sleep soon after.
