chapter XII.

"...sang, yeosang!"

"oh— huh?" the male was suddenly woken from his daze to see his whole friend group staring at him.

"mind to share with us what's got you so distracted that you can't enjoy a lunch with your best friends?" hongjoong raised his eyebrows.

"in forever, i'll add." yunho pitched in as well.

yeosang bit his lip and looked at his impatient friends. should he really tell them about the seonghwa situation?

"we don't have all day." wooyoung nudged his bestfriend.

"well... actually there's a funny story." he began to chuckle nervously. "so seonghwaakathevampireisinlovewithme."

jongho chuckled and looked towards wooyoung, "translation?" wooyoung just shrugged in response, not even he understood what yeosang was saying.

mingi cleared his throat, pretending to fix his invisible tie around his neck. "i think i can handle this one. he said seonghwa is in love with him... WHAT?"

all of the boys at the table suddenly gasped and look right back at yeosang for confirmation.

he let out a sigh, "mingi is right..."

wooyoung squealed as he gripped tightly on yeosang's arm. "the food can wait guys! there's a real vampire in love with yeoyeo?"

"shhh!" yeosang whisper-yelled. "don't yell we're in public," he began to blush again. "but yeah, i cannot believe it either."

"soo... are you guys together?" hongjoong pressed. yeosang just shook his head.

"i asked for some time."

yunho rolled his eyes, "what are you waiting for? this is a once in a lifetime opportunity!!"

"well— it's just... just complicated. some personal stuff..."

"do you like him, though?"

"yeah, a lot." yeosang smiled.

"then that should be enough to overcome the obstacles, right?" jongho smiled to his friend as he placed comforting hand on his shoulder.

the silver haired male breathed out, "i guess you guys are right. i'll fix this all tonight."

and that's exactly what he planned to do.

"i'm home!" yeosang called through the small apartment as soon as he opened the door. not too shortly after he was met with the vampire taking his bag and kissing him on the cheek.

"hwaaa.." he whined while the vampire just grinned at him.

"no, i will not stop." seonghwa said as he dragged the boy to sit on the couch next to him.

yeosang plopped his head on seonghwa's shoulder as the older switched through the random channels on the tv. it looked like seonghwa was blushing, but honestly he couldn't tell because of the dim lit room.

he quickly sat up and tugged on seonghwa's shirt sleeve, which instantly got his attention.

"hmm?" the vampire hummed lovingly.

how could he even second guess his feelings for seonghwa in the first place? yeosang thought.

he took a deep breath and then looked back up into seonghwa's eyes.

"i...i like you too. sorry for not telling you straight away."

the black haired male's eyes widened as he gasped in shock. he was surprised that yeosang could return his feelings even after all the trouble he'd put him through. he took no time in pulling yeosang into his chest and wrapping his arms around him.

"i can not believe this... i can not be believe this! you reciprocate?!

the silver haired male giggled as he watched the happy vampire, he reached up to squish his cheeks. "how can you be so cute when you're supposed to be a vampire?" he paused for a moment.

"but yes, i do share the same feelings." he confirmed. seonghwa immediately jumped up from the couch and pumped his fist in the air.

yeosang 'shh'd' his cheering so they wouldn't get a noise complaint. the human stood up and took the vampire's rough hands into his soft ones.

"does this mean that.. i can accompany you in bed?"

the younger blushed, taking one hand and rubbing his nape, "i guess so."

seonghwa quietly cheered as he pulled yeosang into his chest. he kissed the top of his head and cooed.

after what seemed like minutes of the two hugging, the human pulled away with a bright red face.

"i'm going to bed. meet me there." he teased seonghwa as he sauntered down the hallway.
