Ami's P.O.V.

While the dog was no where nearby I hid the book from him. If he can change into a human than he would probably want to read what I just read. It would also explain how he locked my bedroom door and why he won't eat his dog food.

It could also be why Julian wanted me to tell him everything on this dog. I'm having a hard time believing this, but what else am I suppose to think?! It's so crazy but could be so real at the same time. I just don't understand why the dog likes me but no one else.

I've still got three weeks to see if anything else happens before I have to hand the dog back to Juli- I can't hand Julian back the dog. I saw the dogs reaction to Julian, and there's no way he can have this dog back! I need to think of a way so I can have my family back and keep this dog away from Julian.

A smile appeared on my face while the dog came into the room. Maybe I do have a way of finally getting everything I want.

The dog tilted his head in confusion and I started laughing at the dog. I might be able to save this dog while saving my family. Or maybe two ways of saving them. Yes! It's always good to have a back-up plan!

"Come on boy, let's go to bed," I said. I then noticed the dog pause and then turn around. I already have an idea at what he's thinking.

"Nope!" I yelled while running past him. There is no way he's getting my bed! I was faster than the dog and quickly closed it behind me. I didn't get to locked it because the dog came bursting through the door before I had a chance to.

I then jumped on my bed before the dog could. He growled at me and I looked at the dog with my puppy dog eyes. It always worked on my aunt and uncle and maybe it will work on this dog.

Dog's P.O.V.

I should be the one giving her the puppy dog eyes! Not the other way around! I growled a little and lied down on the floor while she smiled and yawned. This was not over yet!

Once I knew she was asleep, I walked out of her room and into another room where there were some clothes that actually fit me.

I changed into my human and put some clothes on before looking in the room she was in before.

I've been searching for hours and I still haven't been able to find that stupid book! It was about midnight when someone decided to knock on the door. I walked over to the glass frame and peeked through to see who it was.

Holy shit! What in the world is he doing here?!

I quietly ran back into the room and stripped so I wouldn't rip any of the clothes. Richard wouldn't stop knocking. I had a feeling he would try to come after me to kill me. The bastard wants my brother, his best friend, as king instead of me.

I noticed that she woke up and was lazily getting out of bed. Once she heard the knocking get louder, did she really start to panic.

"Oh my gosh, those bastards wanna ruin my sleep. Well I'm going to ruin their face," she mumbled before lifting up some device and typing words on it.

Ami's P.O.V.

I know that Mark wouldn't sleep until one in the morning. I texted him asking if he wanted to help kick some butt with me because someone was at my door. He replied back with a sure and said he'd be over in ten minutes.

I walked over to the door and could not believe that Julian would send someone to come and check on me. I opened the door, ready to yell at the person, when I noticed that I never saw this person before.

"Who are you?" I asked the guy. He looked about my age, he had blond hair but I couldn't really see his eyes that well.

"My name is Richard and I was wondering if you knew where my dog could be?" Richard said. I didn't like the way he said that one bit.

"What does your dog look like?" I asked Richard. He seemed surprised at my question and hesitated on what to say. I tried my best to hide my smirk from him.

He then pushed me away and made his way into my house. I yelled at him and he froze in his spot once he heard the dog growling at him.

"That's my dog, I've been looking for him everywhere," Richard said. I noticed he was slowly reaching for something in his back pocket while looking at the dog. Before he touched it, I realized what was in his back pocket.

I pulled the pocket knife out of his pocket before he could stop me. He turned around and looked at me in pure shock and he was furious.

"What are you doing?! That's my dog!" Richard yelled at me. I noticed that Tyler showed up for the little party and took in the scene on what was going on.

I slapped Richard clear across the face. I know that this dog doesn't belong to him, and he sounded like he was going to hurt the dog.

"Tyler catch!" I yelled to him while tossing him the pocket knife, "Richard here wants his dog back. Would you like to help me?" I asked Tyler. He knew the whole story and could only guess that Richard forced his way in here since I would never allow anyone I didn't know or who was working for Julian to come into my house.

"My pleasure," Tyler said while looking at Richard. I then felt something come across my cheek and I could taste something in my mouth. Oh he did not just slap me!

Richard was trying to get the dog and I swung my foot out and made him fall. The dog bit him on the leg and he screamed in pain. Tyler pulled out his taser and tased the guy. Tyler only has a taser to help me out in times like these. He stole it from a police once and never gave it back.

I stepped on the guys neck, but I made sure he had enough air to breath and hear me out. He looked at me in pure shock and then something else came into his eyes before it disappeared.

"I don't care who you are, you are not getting this dog and I will make sure you never enter my house again. If you think I'm kidding, try me," I said to him before getting my foot off of his neck.

"Now get out of my house!" I yelled to the guy. He quickly stood up and ran out my house before I could say anything else.

"Thanks Tyler, couldn't have done it without you," I said while hugging Tyler. While the dog was sleeping in another room I would explain everything to Tyler, he has a right to know.

"I pulled the taser out the second he lifted his hand to slap you," Tyler whispered. He then looked at my cheek and just by the reaction on his face I knew there would be a nice bruise there in the morning.

"Thanks, go in one of the beds. I've got to tell you something and will be there in a second," I whispered to Tyler.

Tyler looked at me curiously before going into one of the rooms. I followed the dog into my room. He took up my whole bed and this time I would let him have my bed to himself.

I walked into my aunt and uncles room and saw Tyler taking his shirt and shorts off, leaving him in his boxers.

"What do you need to tell me?" Tyler asked me.

I sat down next to Tyler under covers and explained to him everything that I knew. I even showed him my fathers book and told him he can't tell anyone.

It took an hour for me to tell him and answer all his questions. He put the pieces together just like me and figured that the dog is also a human.

"Let'a not worry about that now. Right now I think we should get some sleep," Tyler said while yawning. I smiled at him before he wrapped his arms around me and we both fell asleep.
