Chapter 10

Ami's P.O.V.

I was just about ready to kill the dog for doing that. Dominick looked confused, but happy at the same time before looking angry.

The dog then looked at me and just understood that his friend was going to come charging at me just to get him back.

The dog growled at Dominick, but I already knew it was too late to stop him. I jumped in front of the dog before swinging my leg to the floor and having Dominick trip and fall straight into the wall.

"Hold the dog back," I informed Tyler and his family. This dog is the only one that can help me save my family. Tyler's mother tried to get the leash on the dog, but with the way he was fighting there was no way to get that leash on him.

I quickly took the leash while Dominick got up from the ground. He looked angry and I was trying to figure out what his weakness was. I also thought I could use the leash as an advantage to help me pin him down.

"I need that dog," Dominick said. I could see it in his eyes that he really didn't want to hurt me, but I could also see determination to get this dog back.

"So do I," I replied back. I started swinging the leash while Dominick tried to throw a punch at me. I had the leash wrap around his wrist before I brought his arm behind him.

I kneed him behind his legs and he quickly fell to the ground. I then tied both of his hands behind his back along with his feet. He tried to get up, but I know Julian and he would get a leash that would be hard to break through.

"How in the world did a woman do that?" Dominick said out loud. I glared at him and he instantly shut his mouth before he could say anything else to worsen his situation.

"Would you like another demonstration?" I asked Dominick while still glaring at him. I can not believe he just said that in front of me, and I could have done a lot worst to him than that.

Dominick's eyes filled with fear and he shook his head no. He looked toward Tyler's family and his eyes widened in horror.

I looked at the front door to see that same guy back with a knife again. The one guy that had blond hair and... red eyes? His arm was wrapped around Tyler's neck while the knife was pointed right at his neck.

"Give me the dog and I will consider on letting your little friend live," the guy said. Zoey was the one who was holding the dog, but she looked so scared to see her son with a knife to his neck.

"First off, no one invited either of you to the party and this is for family members only," I walked over to the kitchen. I already knew what I was going to do and how I was going to save Tyler.

"Second, why not you enjoy some party favors," I said while spraying goofy string straight into his eyes. He screamed in horror while Tyler was able to get out of his grip.

Once he got all of the string out of his eyes they were even more red, if that was possible. He was still screaming while trying to get all the string away from his eyes. He dropped the knife and accidentally kicked it towards me.

"You bitch!" he yelled. I then punched him straight in the face and I was satisfied when I heard a crack come from his nose. There was blood dripping onto the carpet and I then kicked him straight into the stomach. I didn't have anything to tie him up with, but I was about to pull him back into the house and try to tie him up until a car came out of nowhere and grabbed him.

"Shit," I mumbled before checking to make sure we were going to get no more surprise visits. I walked back inside to see that Dominick had freed himself from the leash and I figured he must be stronger than I thought.

Tyler's whole family was asleep and I was the only one stopping Dominick from leaving this house with that dog.

"We can do this the hard way or you can let me leave with the dog," Dominick said while holding something in his hand. It was a vial.

"I prefer the hard way," I said before lunging at Dominick. He tried to open the vial, but I didn't give him enough time to. The vial rolled away from us while we were both rolling on the ground, trying to pin the other down long enough to knock them out.

He landed a nice punch to my stomach and I landed a few more to his face, and I could see all the bruises forming. He easily threw me off of him once he got a good grip on me.

My head ended up slamming against the wall. I wasn't surprised that my head started pounding. I lifted my head up to see that Dominick was starting to get up.

I wrapped my feet around one of his legs before right as he was standing straight. He fell straight back to the ground again, and I wouldn't be surprised if he saw the room spinning with the hits and falls he's been taking.

"Ready to give up?" I asked him, breathless. He gave me a look that said never, and I knew that this fight would be a while. I didn't see the dog anywhere and was wondering where the dog went.

"Ah!" I screamed as the dog came running towards me. He came out of nowhere and just charged at me. He started growling at Dominick and he looked surprised for a second.

"Come on now, out of the way," Dominick said while holding up the vial. Gosh this did not look good for me. How in the world did this happen again?

The dog growled at Dominick before he pushed the dog out of the way. I tried to get up but failed. There was nothing in arms reach that I could use against him and I knew that this was it for me.

Or was it?

Dog's P.O.V.

My friend pushed me out of the way before he placed the vial under Ami's nose. I watched in horror as she breathed in what was in the vial. Her head fell onto the floor and I knew she was asleep.

"Out of all places how did you end up here?" Dominick asked me. I changed into my human form and put some shorts on that I found.

"I told you I was trying to find John Ice, that's the name of the man that came to our home eighteen years ago," I explained to my friend that had no clue what was going on.

"I know you were trying to look for him, but did you even find him?" Dominick asked. I was a little surprised by his question. I thought he was going to say how my parents sent him to bring me home so I could claim the thrown.

"Yes I know where he is," I said while thinking of the time I saw him where I was captured. If it wasn't for Ami then I would have never found John Ice.

"Then why are you here? Why aren't you with John Ice?" Dominick asked me.

"Cause the person who kidnapped me, at first, has John Ice," I explained. I didn't want to tell him how I found Ami or why I'm still with her, but it's Dominick so he'll bug the questions right out of me.

"How did you escape?" Dominick asked me. I knew this question was going to come up sooner or later. I ran my hand threw my hair while trying to think of what I could say.

I was about to open my mouth until Dominick said, "I know that look, tell me everything before I drag you back home." I groaned, not really wanting to tell him, but having no choice.

"I didn't escape, the guy made some deal with Ami, the girl you just fought," I said in the simplest of terms. He raised one eyebrow, knowing that there was more to this than meets the eye.

"Ami is the daughter of John Ice, and she's trying to get her father back. I've seen what she can do and she even fought Richard," I explained. Dominick's eyes widened in shock and horror.

"I knew this would happen, we have to get you back so you could claim the thrown, your brother sent Richard to try and kill you and if he succeeds, then everyone back home is doomed," Dominick rushed to say everything I already knew.

"I'm not leaving without Ami," I gave my best friend a stone faced glare. He looked surprised by my actions and I could tell he wasn't putting two and two together.

"Why? She's not like us? She might be John's daughter, but I'm not sure she can help us with your brother," Dominick said, trying and failing to talk me out of leaving and returning home.

"She's my bride," I simply said. Dominick gasped in surprise.

"I knew it!" a female voice yelled. Dom and I jumped in surprised because there shouldn't be anyone else awake besides me and him. Yet here Ami was, awake and standing quite well, she doesn't even look like she was asleep.

"How are in the world are you awake?!" Dominick roared. I knew he was angry because no one has ever been able to fight him and win without any real weapons being used.

"Wouldn't you like to know," Ami said in a smart tone.
