Chapter 2

Aurora's P.O.V.

I pushed all of the police men out of my way. Some tried to grab me, but that only made me run faster into my house.

I didn't stop once I saw my aunt and uncle on the ground while police men tried to cuff them. I tackled the police men that held both my aunt and uncle. I don't care if I go to jail, the government is not taking my family away from me again.

The police man had his arms wrapped around my stomach while my hands were down at my side. I leaned forward really quick and the police man ended up doing a flip while passing out.

More police came in and I was ready to fight them off until someone hit me hard from behind. My eyes started to close as I saw the police men take my aunt and uncle outside.

Right before I blacked out, I felt someone lift me from the ground and carry me. I didn't know where I was going or who had picked me up.

I could move my body. My body was killing me as I started to move. I felt the cold, hard, tile floor underneath me.

I lifted my upper body up and then's when I heard someone laughing. I opened my eyes and quickly closed them when I came into contact with a bright light.

I slowly opened my eyes and waited for them to adjust while a man laughed at me. I knew that man to well. He was the one that was in charge of this, whatever this thing was. He was the one who took my parents, and now my aunt and uncle away from me.

"Julian," I hissed and spat out of my mouth like it was pure venom which it was. I glared at Julian while he looked at me, amused by all of this.

"Ah Ami! It's been so long since either one of us have ever talked with each other," Julian replied with a smile on his face. I knew Julian wanted something from me because he would never bring me to the same building that my parents were being held in.

"What do you want? And don't even think I'm going to stop trying to break my family free from your clutches!" I spat while continuing to glare at him.

"I want to make a deal with you dear Ami," Julian said in a calm voice. I slapped Julian across the face when I moved towards him.

"I told you I would slap you next time we met," I spat out. I could easily see my red hand print on Julian's face as he stared at me with pure shock.

After five seconds a smirk appeared on Julian's face, like he won a million dollars or something. He just stared at me while daydreaming about something.

"If you take care of... my dog for a month, I'll let you take your entire family back. But you also have to write down everything about my dog," Julian proposed to me with a smile stuck on his face.

I looked at him like he was crazy. Julian... wanted me... to take care of... a dog... for an entire month? There had to be some kind of catch because I know that Julian always has a trick up his sleeve.

"What's the catch?" I growled at him. If looks could kill, Julian would be six feet underground right now. I was just about ready to strangle this guy to death.

"Nothing, now are you taking the deal, or should I tell your parents that you never want to see them again?" Julian asked me with a smirk on his face, knowing which one I would chose.

"Fine, I'll watch your stupid dog," I mumbled. Julian held out his hand and I took it. Julian hissed in pain while I dug my nails into his hand, so hard that his hand started bleeding a little.

Julian mumbled something under his breath, but I couldn't tell what he said, just something about being rid of me soon. I was happy because soon I'll have my family back together, and then I'll never have to see Julian again, or the police.

Julian then left the room, and five minutes later he came back with a German Shepard that had a leash and muzzle on. I never thought you should put a muzzle on a dog, I never liked people who abused animals.

The dog stopped struggling for a moment once it's eyes laid on me. After a minute Julian cleared his throat and the dog started struggling again.

"Let me see my father! Then I'll take your dog home," I hissed. I was not in the mood for playing games, and I haven't seen my parents in ten long years.

The dog froze and started growling when I said your. I didn't know how to react, but I wasn't scared of this dog, I've been with dogs that have almost killed me.

"No," Was all Julian said. I shrugged, and then quickly ran towards Julian and slid under his feet. The dog than ran under Julian's feet while Julian called police for backup.

I quickly ran to the room I knew my parents would be in. The dog looked trapped and didn't know where to go once Julian let go of it's leash.

I stuck my hands in my mouth and whistled, "Come here boy!" The dog looked both ways and police started coming down the other hall. The dog had no choice, but to follow me.

The dog was behind me the whole time while I lead the way to the room my parents was in. I quickly turned the knob and tears poured out of my eyes as I took in my parents, aunt, and uncle to.

They were all tied up behind their hands. I ran to my parents and hugged them both while my parents cried for me.

Dog's P.O.V.

I had no idea where I was going, I just needed to get back home. I had no choice, but to follow that girl. I didn't like it when she said that I belonged to Julian. I don't belong to anyone!

I looked into the room she went into. Police weren't here yet, and I had absolutely no idea what this girl was doing.

She was hugging two older people while all three of them cried. I wasn't paying attention and someone grabbed my leash while tightening the muzzle on me.

Police then swarmed into the room and tried to pull the girl away from the two older people. The girl got angry and kicked one of the police officers in the face while sending her elbow into the other's gut.

This girl was a pretty impressive fighter. The person holding me then whistled, and I instantly knew who it was.

"I could still change the deal and keep your family here for the rest of their lives, now leave!" Julian ordered. The girl threw a glare at Julian while walking over towards us.

I can't believe this girl is so weak! She can fight, so why not beat the crap out of Julian and all these police here?

Julian held out my leash and the girl took it. She was about to past Julian until her eyes flashed with happiness.

"Oh! I also forgot that I promised you I would do something else," The girl said in Julian's face. Julian smirked back at her.

"What was that, Princess?" Julian said while moving closer to the girl. I thought the girl was going to coward away for a second. Everyone I met in this building fears Julian, but what the girl did next shocked the crap out of me.

She slapped Julian on the cheek, then threw her knee into his area, and ended it with throwing her elbow into his back. She then quickly pulled on my leash and ran out of the building before any police could catch her.

I was surprised at how fast she actually ran. She was able to keep up with me while she kept pulling me down different streets until we finally came across her house in twenty minutes.

She pulled out a key and unlocked the front door. I was about to turn around until she pulled me inside the house and locked it.

She then walked into another room and pulled out something. I had no idea what it was called, I don't live here with these people. It was black and had a handle on it, she then placed it on the table.

She turned something and then fire was coming out from the table. I jumped back in surprise, then walked over to the couch where I could hopefully get some sleep. Julian has been trying to figure out what else I could do.

He'll never find out, and if this girl thinks she'll find out then she's got another thing coming. I huffed in annoyance when something went off threw the house, it sounded like a ding.
