A Signal

They had moved Indra into the tent and were still waiting for Kane to make an appearance. The more time that passed the more anxious Lexa was getting. She needed to know what was going on with Nia and the others inside the camp.

"The bleeding stopped. We need to get you something for the pain." Clarke was still checking over Indra while they waited. The sound of the tent flaps opening brought their attention thinking it was Kane entering. "Octavia?" Clarke was shocked to see the brunette enter. "Where's Kane?"

"He sent me." Octavia informed still in shock about what she had witness outside. But her attention was brought to the injured person inside the tent. Relief flooded inside her once she realized who the person was. "Indra. Thank God."

"How did this happen?" Lexa needed a more detail description about the event.

"Kane lost the election to Pike. Everything's different." Octavia explained.

"Your people voted for this." Lexa was outraged at the information they were just give.

"No. No, I don't believe that." Clarke denied wanting to still find a better outcome.

"How would you know, Clarke? You haven't been here." Octavia commented back. The girl had been angered like her brother, at the fact that Clarke would just leave them in the time they needed her the most.

"Listen to me. The Grounder army is gonna be here in less than a day. I need to see Bellamy and Nia." Clarke stated her plan. She felt like if anyone could help them stop this war it would be them too.

"Bellamy was a part of this. He's with Pike. Pike is having Nia and the others followed. One false move and they could get detained. What makes you think they'll be able to help us?" Octavia provided more information.

This information go Lexa's attention. She wanted to ask about Nia but felt that if Octavia hadn't mentioned her then maybe she was safe. But now she knew that she was being held a prisoner in a sense. She needed to get her and the others out of there.

"He saved Indra's life." Clarke tried to argue. She needed to stop this war that was pending. "If what Octavia is saying is true then, then Pike trust him. If I can get to him, he can get to Pike. And he wouldn't do anything to hurt Nia."

Clarke was trying everything she could to try and convince Lexa to allow her to go. To find a way to fix everything that had happened.

"You can't just walk though the gates, Clarke. You've been living with their enemy. If it were me, I'd kill you in the spot." Lexa disagreed. The words she spoke made a bad feeling inside her. The more time Nia and them spent inside Arkadia the more of a risk they were taking. In fact, she had been surprised that Pike had done something drastic already, but a part of her told her that Nia had something to do with it. She was keeping them safe but for how long?

"I can get her in." Octavia spoke up remembering the route she had taken to get out and how it would be the perfect on to get back in. And if need be, it could work as escape.

Lexa was hesitant at the plan but she needed to know Nia's condition. Needed time and a way to get them out without harm. So reluctantly she nodded but before they left she gave them advice.

"I hope you understand Octavia but I'm going to need some reassurance about Nia and others. They are my people and I need to ensure that they are safe." She implied to Octavia but the girl was confused at the words. Lexa saw the confusion and added one more piece of advice. "Nia will know what to do."

With that said the due left and made their way back into camp. Both hoping that they could stop the war that was coming. The death of others.

Nia went into the medical to check up on the conditions of those there. She had been concerned since Pike had wanted to intern them but failed. Now she made regularly updates to ensure their safety. She was speaking with Abby when the sound of multiple people coming in. It was Pike and his group and they began to move to different beds. Nia had a bad feeling about it when they began to move around them.

"What are you doing?" Abby questioned Pike and Bellamy who were standing behind them. "These are sick people. You can't just throw them out into the cold."

Bellamy looked over at Nia and saw the distress on her face making his stomach tighten. He had agreed to do this but he had no knowledge on her being there. Once again he was making himself look like a monster in her eyes. He was just grateful that Jade wasn't around to witness.

The whole sight was making Nia uneasy as she watched her people get rounded up and she couldn't do anything. She to help but she knew that if she did Pike would gladly take the opportunity to detain her. She couldn't do that to the girls. But a part of her was relieved. Relieved at the fact that they wouldn't be there within the walls but outside with their people. That sliver of hope vanished as quickly as it came when she heard Pike speak.

"We're not. They're being interned." He informed them making both women stare at him in shock. Nia glazed shifted to Bellamy but he refused to meet her eyes.

"Out of my way." Someone spoke from out the doors. A second later, Lincoln entered followed closely by Jackson.

They both walked in taking ahold of what they were seeing. A look of anger on his face as he glanced around.

"Lincoln, you don't want to be here right now." Bellamy stated hoping to get him and Nia out before something were to happen to either one of them.  All the group's eyes seemed to shift between Lincoln and Nia. "Take Nia with you." He said in hope that Lincoln would take his sister out of danger but a quiet leave was not what he got.

"We asked them to come here." Lincoln protested their removal.

"We can't spare the supplies." Pike responded simply.

"Denae." Lincoln's attention went to a woman who was too weak to hold herself up. He stepped in that direction and Nia rushed to halt him but the others didn't think that was the case.

"Lincoln, no." Nia grabbed ahold of his arm and pulled back slightly. But the guard beside the bed made a move to his gun and went to grab Nia. Only for Lincoln to push her slightly behind him. Shielding her from them.

"She's too sick to move." He stood in toe with the man. Both hold glares as they stared each other down.

"Look like she's moving just fine to me." The guy retorted back.

"Gillmer, back off." Bellamy stepped forward and commanded but neither one did. He took a step beside Nia that way in case something should happen he would stop her from intervening. "Jackson, why did you bring him here?"

"Why? Didn't want us to find out? What did you think would happen? That you'd come in and take them and we wouldn't notice?" Nia replied to Bellamy in disbelief.

The sound of Denae falling brought Nia's attention to her. She went to rush to her only for Bellamy to grab ahold of her waist. He needed for her to not intervene. But she wasn't the only one who moved.

Lincoln went to assist as well only for the guard to push him back. That was the last straw for Lincoln as the Trikru warrior was able to throw him to the ground. He began to send punch after punch to his face.

Everything happened to fast that Nia didn't feel Bellamy's arms leave her waist. She just watched as Bellamy tried to pull her brother off once to get elbowed. Lincoln's attention now focused on Bellamy as he advanced toward him.

"Lincoln." Abby tried to call out but he didn't listen. She needed to stop him now and she needed to stop him now. With more force she shouted his name once more. "Lincoln!"

This shout had not only caught Lincoln's attention but Bellamy's as well as they both looked over to her. Their gaze settled on her but her shifted to beside her. What they saw next was something they didn't expect.

Among all the fighting, Nia had went to help Denae but didn't get far. She was pulled back and a gun aimed at her. And that is what they saw. Nia standing next to Pike with the gun aimed at her temple.

No one made a move, not wanting a move to end her life. Nia's eyes were filled with fear as she only stared at her brother. She hadn't shown fear since she had been a kid but as Lincoln looked at her, he saw the small girl with pigtails chasing after butterflies. Now she was in danger and it was because of his reckless actions.

Bellamy stood frozen at what he was seeing. He had never meant for it to get this far but now there he stood watching as the girl he loves was held at gunpoint. He could see the fear in her eyes but she didn't take her eyes off Lincoln. He wanted nothing more than to shove everyone aside, take her into his arm and comfort her. But once again he had acted on emotion and put himself in a difficult position.

"He goes with them. Take him." Pike ordered the others and they moved with no hesitation. They restrained him and began to move him from the bay.

"Sorry we had to do this the hard way." Pike said to both Abby and Nia. The two glanced at him but said nothing.

As Nia looked at him she saw the look in his eye. It was his plan. He wanted to find a way to detain them and would do anything to achieve it. Neither one responded back as they both turned and left right after.

On her way out of the bay, she had turned a corner only to run into Octavia. Nia had been dying to speak with the girl once Kane had confirmed she had left the walls.

"Octavia, what happened?" Nia spoke quietly to her wanting to know before they received her tail.

"It was horrible, Nia. All 300 killed, all the injured were executed. Indra was the only one who survived but she's in bad shape. Lexa called the twelve clans. The army will be here in a day." Octavia began to list off the information. "I had to bring Clarke back. We're trying to figure out a way to stop this war. I have to get to Bellamy."

"Tavia, something just happened with Lincoln. They got him into a fight and detained him. They're taking him to holding now." Nia informed the girl about what had just happened moments ago.

A look of surprised and fury went across Octavia's face as she hear what Nia had just said. This scenario didn't cross her mind when she had left but now that it had happened what could she do about it. Right now that only option she had was getting to Bellamy.

"I need to get to holding, but Nia, Lexa wanted some reassurance about you and the others. She said you'd know what to do." Octavia finished telling her.

And Nia did know what to do but she couldn't do it alone. So they parted ways and Nia went straight to the room. She brought the others out and they began to walk outside with Nia glancing around every so often.

"Lexa is here. Octavia came back and Lexa wants confirmation about us." She explained to them silently. Alec understood where she was going whereas the girls were wondering what they would be doing. "We need to make a signal that she can see, but with eyes on us we can't make it obvious."

When Nia finished speak she sent a pointed look at Jade. Jade being the smallest was their best chance at doing this without being detected. After all, she had proven herself to get away without anyone noticing.

So there they stood in their respectful positions ready to get the plan going. Alec, Nia and Jade would stick together while Fox would create a distraction elsewhere. With her being considered Skaikru she didn't have much attention but just enough to cause a diversion.

Once they were in position Fox had sprung into action. She had been able to spill some of the moonshine around the bar and stared a small fire. People around had began to panic as they hurried to put it out quickly. With everyone occupied Jade slipped away holding the blue fabric that Nia had given her.

She rushed toward the part of the gate that Nia had pointed out to her. According to her it would be the best place for Lexa's guards to scout. Working quickly she tied the band and once it was secure she hurried her way back.

Nia let out a sigh of relief when she saw Jade come back. Everyone had successfully put out the fire and now Jade had successfully gave their signal.
