"Selena. It's good to see you again." Selena said, sarcastically.

 "Likewise." Selena said staring at Nick.

"Why? Why did you go with Ethan?" Nick whispered. Before Selena could open her mouth, Ethan beat her to it.

"Why Isn't it clear, little brother? The girl wanted to be with you." Ethan said, smirking.

Nick glared at Ethan. "Why are you doing this?" 

"I said I'll bring her back to you. I'm bored of dealing with your behavior. Family should always be first." Ethan said, putting a hand on Selena's waist. Selena fidgeted at that.

"I told you. We are not family. A real family won't do this to me!" Nick yelled at Ethan.

Ethan merely looked amused. "What's with the tone? I kept my promise and brought you the love of your life to you and this is how you repay me?"

Nick growled. "Repay you? Why I'll be sure to repay you, You son of a b-" As Nick tried to swing his fist at Ethan, Chuck grabbed him from behind.

"Let go of me!" Nick screamed, trying to get to Ethan.

"No!" Chuck said.

"Now at least someone is on their right mind." Ethan said, holding Selena close to him.

Nick shook off Chuck's hand and started to walk towards Ethan. Selena's voice made him stop. 

"Why are you mad, Nick?" Selena whispered. "Don't you want to be with me?"

Nick's heart stopped. Of course, He wanted to be with her.

"This is not about that." Nick said. 

"Yes. It is! I knew it! You don't love me anymore. You would rather be with that bi*ch instead of me." Selena screamed. Ethan's smirk grew as he heard Selena's words.

"No. This is not about how I feel about you. You shouldn't even be here!" Nick yelled.

A hurt look went though Selena's face. "Why can't I be here huh? Why? Because you were too busy sucking that little wench's lips?" Selena said angrily, stomping her feet.

"No! It's because, because..." Nick couldn't make himself say it.

"Because what Nick? What!" Selena said, tears in her eyes.

"Because you are supposed to be dead!" Nick yelled. 

All was silent before Ethan started to clap. "Nice. I knew I would be entertained if I brought her." He said, chuckling.

"You psychopath." Selena spat, looking at Ethan with disgust.

"What are you talking about Nick?" Selena said, smiling with tears in her eyes. "This is a joke, right? Haha, Nick. Very funny."

Nick only looked down at the floor, not meeting Selena's eyes.

"No! It can't be true! I can't be dead. You are lying." Selena said, looking at each one of them in the room as if to find answers. Only Ethan looked her right in the eye, smirking.

"Well, It is the truth, sweetheart. I should know. I'm the one who killed you." Ethan said, putting a hand on Selena's waist once again. Selena froze at that.

Selena stared at Ethan, then at Nick, with disbelief in her eyes. Had Ethan really killed Selena? Why?

"If you had chosen me like a good girl, we wouldn't be in this situation now." Ethan whispered in Selena's ear, holding her tightly.

"What...What are you talking about? I have never met you before!" Selena screamed, trying to get out of Ethan's hold.

Ethan's grip hardened. "Oh yes you have, Sweetheart. You were just too busy with my brother over there. You chose him over me."

"It looks like I made the right choice then." Selena spat. Ethan slapped her with fury.

"Don't touch her!" Nick yelled. As he started to move, Ethan pulled out a knife and put it to Selena's side. Selena froze, feeling the cold metal through a thin fabric that didn't help her from it.

"One step, brother. And She will get it." Ethan smirked, stroking Selena's now reddened cheek.

"This just reminds me of old times. Although back then, you didn't see her actually getting stabbed now did you?" Ethan said, twirling the dagger before resetting it back to Selena.

Nick froze. He didn't dare move. The scene he saw on that very day Ethan was talking about, flashed by in his head.

Selena lying limp on the floor in the pool of her own blood. A dagger in her heart. He recognized the dagger in an instant. It was a family heirloom. Given to his brother. 

After Selena's funeral, he stopped himself from plunging the knife to his brother just like he did to her. Because of what was left of his love for his brother. 

From that day on, throwing the dagger down at his brother's feet, he had made sure that he was no longer Ethan's younger brother.
