Chapter Eleven

Classic – MKTO (b/c Walt)

“Did you need something, Mr. Shada,” I said into my phone as I answered it.

I was currently lounging on my couch blaring Fall Out Boy, which I had to turn down to answer this call, but I guess he’s worth it.

“Why yes, I did. I am bored out of my mind and am in need of entertainment. By the sound of that music I think you feel about the same,” he answered.

“You would be correct, Sir,” I sighed.

“Well, then I should be over soon.”

I heard the click of him hang up as I pulled the phone away from my ear and smiled at it as I saw the call end. I went back to turning up my music and just around the end of Rat a Tat I heard the doorbell ring.I got up from my comfortable position on the couch and opened the door to see Jeremy standing there. He smiled as he entered the house and walked past me towards the couch in the living room.

“Nice sweatpants,” he commented as he eyed my legs.

“Hey, it’s never getting any better than this,” I shrugged.

He turned and smirked at my song reference.  I walked up to my speakers and unplugged my phone from the dock then flopped on the couch next to him.

“So, six o’clock and were bored out our minds,” he muttered.

I sighed and inched my way over to his side of the couch as I cuddled up under his arm and he sighed as well as he embraced me.

“You already eat?” he questioned as he looked down at me.

“Yup. I’m stuffed.”

“Same,” he said.

“I’m bored.”

“Same.”

“Well, you’re complex, aren’t you?” I smirked up at him.

He looked down, smiled, then got off of the couch and held out a hand for me. I gave him a confused look, but he stayed silent and shook his hand to bring my attention to it. I placed my hand in his and he pulled me off the couch and into his chest.

He leaned his head down to my ear and whispered, “Let’s have an adventure.”

It only took one look at my face for him to realize that I was in.

We got in his car and drove on the familiar streets within the two mile radius of my house. Eventually we pulled into the parking lot of the small park that was near my house. I had a small playground for kids that wasn’t anything special, a large field for people to run around, a small baseball diamond, and a paved path that goes deep into the woods.

He got out of the car and took my hand. I smiled up at him then we began walking on the path in the woods. We walked in a few minutes of peaceful silence before I finally talked.

“I feel like summers practically done already,” I huffed.

“Well, lucky for you it’s not,” he leaned down to kiss my cheek, “And lucky for you, you still get to keep me for a little after it’s over.”

“Yeah, but I still have to deal with you working all the time,” I rolled my eyes.

“Well, I’m not working now, am I?” he smirked.

“I don’t know. I’m kind-of a piece of work,” I laughed at my own joke, “Although, I guess senior year is something to look forward to.”

“Yeah, you pretty much just have fun electives for senior year,” he listed.

“And that winter break trip to Florida,” I continued.

“You get to spend time with Gwen all day.”

“Hopefully. I our classes are together.”

“And you get to run that bitch because you’re a senior,” he screamed the last part.

“I do get to sit in the upper commons now,” I smiled.

After a few more minutes of random chattering, we reached the end of the path so we went over to the playground and cuddle ourselves in to facing plastic rocks. We sat there for a while just watching the sun set.

“So,” I asked looking down to make eye contact to see he was already looking at me, “was that your big adventure?”

He laughed at my words.

“This was just the beginning,” he scoffed

“Then what else do you have planned,” I smirked at him.

He got up and held out his hand just like he had before. I smiled and placed my hand in his before he pulled me to his chest and whispered in my ear once again.

“I have a surprise for you.”

I smiled again.

Man, does this boy get me to smile or what?

What up bitches???

Sorry it’s been awhile again. I’ve just been so done with all this Ferguson stuff. I don’t know it you knew this, but I live in St. Louis so these damn riots have been getting in the way of my plans all the time (my friend had the worst black Friday shit happen to her) so I’ve been in such a crappy mood and haven’t felt like writing.

Anyways, enjoy the chapter and I think I’m going to start doing a qotd below for you and me to answer:)

Qotd: What’s your favorite band/artist? (I could talk about this all day)

Qotd answer: All Time Low, We The Kings, The Ready Set, Fall Out Boy, Makeout Monday, Panic At The Disco, The Wonder Years, 5 Seconds of Summer, Good Charlotte, etc. (I could go on for awhile)
