Chapter Thirteen

The Kids Aren’t Alright – Fall Out Boy (b/c I like it)

“Sooooo,” Elodie drew out as I suspiciously eyed her.

We currently hanging out in my room listening to We’re Good by The Narwhals from my favorite playlist on my phone.

“Whaaaat, Elodie,” I drew out as well.

“I don’t know,” she sighed and it turned into a frown.

I let out a small laugh as I watched her frown and sink down in her beanbag chair in the corner of my room.

“What’s wrong, sweetheart?” I asked still laughing.

“I’m bored. When you said we should have a girls day I figured that we would actually do something.”

I roll my eyes just as I hear the song change.

“I’m sorry I’m boring. I just have nothing to do recently because Jeremy is working so much,” I sighed.

“Why didn’t you call Gwen and get her over here too?” She questioned.

“She’s dying some of her hair purple,” I laughed.

“Hey, it’s okay.”

“What exactly do you mean?” I raise an eyebrow.

“You’ve got Jeremy and he likes you. I know that he’s not going to leave you willingly any time soon,” she reaches out from her chair and touches my arm, “And when he’s not around, you’ve got your girls here,” she pulled back, “I mean, today isn’t a good example because Gwen isn’t here, but… I don’t know where I’m going with this anymore,” she scratched the back of her head as I laughed uncontrollably.

“Okay, let’s do something to pull you out of this awfully awkward situation,” I said still laughing.

“I have an idea,” she squealed as she bit her lip.

“What?” I smiled.

“Vampire Diaries?” she smiled as she begged.

“Dear baby cousin, you get me all too well,” I laughed as I ruffled her hair and started walking towards the TV.

Sorry that this is trash, but the next chapter will be cute.
