Nineteen

Had a bit of free time and I initially thought of replying to the comments on the previous chapter but then realised that you guys would want me to write a  chapter so here

If she could have it her way, Sammy wouldn't mind spending the entire day to choose her OOTD.

But she had to hurry and she knew that  she was already late so she simply changed her pajama and tucked  her T shirt in the jeans and raced out of the room.

'What's wrong?' Rits asked looking at her hurry.

'Nothing. But it's really important, will explain after I come back home. Bye.' Sammy screamed on her way out of the house.

She drove to their place only to find it locked. She tried calling Vamika so many times but there's no response.

After waiting there for an hour or two while continuosly  trying to reach her through the call, Sammy understood that it was all futile.

But she didn't want to leave from there before getting to know what happened to them. She waited there for a while and then the house help has arrived.

'Do you have Virat Kohli's number?' she asked him.

'Who are you?' he asked confused.

'I'm his daughter's friend and I don't have time to explain, but look she called me 20 times and now the house is locked and I need to talk to her. So give me his number.' she talked in one breath.

He looked at her doubtfully for a second but her demanding look made him hesitate.

'I'll call him.' he said as he dialled his number.

'Hello krishna.' Spoke Vamika on the phone.

'Mam where are you?' he asked.

'Dad fell unconscious and we brought him to KIMS hospital.' Vamika informed.

Sammy without wasting even a second, scurried to her car. With the help of navigation she reached the hospital in no time.

She walked to the reception and asked about Virat Kohli and ofcourse they wouldn't tell her.

She called Vamika again but she didn't lift the call, by then Sammy doubted that she was wantedly not attending her calls.

'I lost my phone, can I make a call?' she asked a lady who occupied a near by seat to where Sammy was standing and the lady obliged.

She dialled Vami's number and her doubts proved to be true as she answered the call in a Jeffy.

'In which room are you in?' Sammy asked.

'Why did you call? I don't want to talk-'

'I swear on Vi chachu if you hung up on me or won't answer my question.' Sammy interrupted.

'What the hell? You can't swear on my dad.' hissed Vamu.

'But I did. So tell me your room number.' Sammy demanded.

'201' Vami answered reluctantly.

Sammy hung up and walked towards the stairs and mentally recited her lines that were needed to get forgived by her.

She took a deep breath before knocking the door, Vami opened the door.

Vami shot daggers at her as they faced each other.

'Looks like she is really happy with this place and her new friend.' Rits commented as her daughter left the house in a hurry.

'She is. Though I'm not sure why this hurry.' Ro asked while the couple's gaze was still fixed to their daughter, who by then drove out of the main gate.

'I don't know. But she and Alisha somehow resemble you and Vi.' Rits said as she walked back to the living room from the lawn and her husband followed.

'I felt that too. Do you think Vi would also be thinking about us like we do?' Ro asked. Part of him know that Vi still loves him and part of him prays that Vi should still love him.

'I'm sure he does. If only we knew where he is.' Rits sighed.

'Should we contact Nush?' Ro asked.

'I don't know. I really what to be with them but I'm scared. What if contacting them breaks our beautiful delusion and we'll get to know that they hate us?'

Rits was on the verge of having another panic attack.

'Rits, calm down. Take a deep breath.' Ro guided her to the couch.

'Here drink this water.' he made her drink the water and helped her focus on her breathing.

'I'm sorry. This is all happening because of me.' Ro let his guards down.

'Shh' she put her finger on his lips before continuing, 'You are the best thing that has happened to me. You did no mistake Ro. Those are at fault who didn't believe you.'

'But you are suffering because of it all. Your panic attacks, inability to get along with people like you used to before, that vanished happiness from your life and so much more, all this would have definitely not happened had I not got banned.'

'Yeah that's true. But the reason I've become like this is those whom we thought loved us and not you. You can never be the reason to my sorrow, never Ro.' she clinged onto him and cried in his chest.

'It doesn't matter to me who's in our lives or how your professional life is or what people think about us. All that matters to me is you and Sammy. And I know, I'll never lose you.' she continued.

'But I can't see you gloomy. Sammy can't too, she's just too good at hiding stuff.'

'I know how much it's affecting her as well. That's why I've come to a decision.' she stated.

'What is it?' he asked.

'I'll seek professional help.' she announced.

'What? Are you sure?'

'Yes. I can't let those who aren't in our lives affect me which in return affects my family. I want us to be truly happy. That's why, I decided to go for therapy.' she informed.

'Shall we move back to-'

'No Ro we aren't going any where. I want to stay in India. I can't keep running away. We are all staying here, I'm going for therapy and we three will be a happy family. End of the discussion.' She said as she got up.

Ro was at loss of words knowing her decision. But somewhere beneath his heart, he felt that everything is about to fall into the right place.

And he isn't wrong....

Hope you guys liked the update.

See you'll in the next ✨

          Stay safe and happy ❤️

Also have been intending to say this for so long:

One of the very few things that I hate about myself n that I want to change in me is that, I don't have a habit of rechecking, I just can't do that, it's become like an inability.

Even in my final exams I won't recheck no matter how much I try, I just can't do it.

When someone votes on a chapter written so long ago, I go read it just like that, and 7/10 times I find so many errors.

Like there's an chat chapter and instead of Virat I've written Vamika.

Virat: Message instead of writing this I wrote

Vamika: Message

And there are so many more like this.

I'm being very cautious while writing, but if you find any errors pls don't mind them.

Tata👋
