As usual Sammy had still not woken up by the time Vamu reached their house.

Ro was out to take his dog for a walk while Rits opened the door for Vamu and headed directly into the kitchen without  bothering to share a chat with her.

Vamu settled on the couch and reached out for her phone and dialled  Sammy's number who answered in a very sluggish tone.

'Why can't you wake up by the time I reach your place?' Vamu hissed.

'I'll be downstairs in twenty minutes. I promise.' saying this Sammy hung the phone without waiting for a response.

Vamika began scrolling through YouTube to pass time until then.

She stumbled upon a video of her mother while the thumbnail read:

Anushka Sharma says Ranbir-Alia's daughter is her daughter too

She couldn't resist from watching that video.

A voiceover was played at the beginning while a slideshow of pictures of her mom with some  unknown female were shown, whom she assumed to be Ranbir-Alia's daughter.

We are all aware that Ranbir-Alia's daughter is about to make her debut soon and this film also marks the Re-Entry of Anushka Sharma on the big screen after eleven years.

The ex wife of Virat Kohli will be seen playing the role of mother to the debutant.

Look at what she has to say.

The voiceover ended there and a video of Nush speaking was attached.

Nush: It feels great to be back on the big screen, not that I regretted being a producer or acting in films and series for OTT.

Also I've enjoyed so much player her mother and we bonded really well off screen as well. I wouldn't hesitate to say that we are really like mother and daughter off screen as well.

Vamika couldn't continue watching it further. She shoved her phone away as she sighed heavily, letting her head drop and tears streamed down her face.

She never heard her mother talking about her even with her and here she is speaking about someone's daughter.

'Are you crying?' she heard Sammy's voice who by then had cupped her face.

'No.' vamika snuffled,  avoiding eye contact and began wiping her tears.

'Yeah, I'm blind' Sammy huffed sarcastically.

'What's wrong?' Sammy asked tenderly staring right into Vami's eyes and the latter couldn't control anymore.

'Mom is calling someone else as her daughter.' Vami sniffled.

'Ok, it's about her upcoming film right, I can't wait to see her on screen again. I've never seen her on screen-' Sammy stopped midway seeing Vami glare at her.

'She might be saying that only for the sake of promotions.' Sammy tried comforting her.

'But she never spoke like that with me' Vamu paused to blow her nose before continuing, 'Mom doesn't love me.'

She might have said it in a high tone as it caught the attention of Rits who was in the kitchen.

'How can any mother not love her child?'

'My mom is the example for that. Why am I punished with a mom like her?'

'Have a clear conversation with her, and sort out everything.' Sammy suggested.

'Nothing is gonna work, a relation is only going to work when the effort is from both the sides. She doesn't even want to mend our relation.'

'I don't think so. I'm not sure she loves you as much as you love her.' Sammy assured her.

'I don't love her. I don't even want to love her. Dad is the only family I've got.' Vamu declared.

' You thought the same about your dad too, but it has all changed now, isn't it. The same is gonna happen with your mom too.'  Sammy affirmed.

'That's not the case with her. She doesn't love me. Dad loved me all this time, I didn't realise that. But that's not how it is with Mom.'

'Ok baba, stop crying now.' Sammy didn't want to continue the conversation as it only made Vami weep more.

Rits felt pity seeing her cry for her mother. The wife in her told her to not left it affect her and to stay away from strangers but the mother in her couldn't just stand there watching it all happen.

She quickly made omlette for both the girls and arranged it on a tray along with orange juice to serve.

'Have it both of you.' she said as she placed the tray on the table near the couch.

'Alisha, have this.' she smiled looking at Vami, shocking both the girls.

'Yeah, sure. Thanks aunty.'

More than Vami, Sammy was elated to see her mother talk well with Vami.

Rits who began walking away took an abrupt turn back to the girls. She seemed to be mustering courage to speak what's on her mind.

'I'm sorry for behaving rude to you. But- umm-  if you ever  miss your mother, just know that I'm here.' Rits said and quickly without waiting for an answer walked away.

'Woah! Did you just hear that? Your Rits chachi just told you to consider her as your mother.' Sammy squealed with joy as she jumped onto Vami.

'But why this sudden change?' Vami asked, who didn't know how to react to Ritika's words. Maybe she would have been as elated as Sammy if she spent more time with them in her childhood.

'She might have heard you talking about Nush chachi.  We didn't mention her name, did we?' Sammy asked.

'We definitely wouldn't have, if we did, she would have noticed it for sure' Vami assured.

That day went on smoothly, the girls did nothing but watch some films behind the closed door, while Ro and Rits assumed that they were working.

By 5 p.m the girls winded up and Vami decided to go home.

'You'll come tomorrow, won't you?' Rits asked Vami and Ro couldn't belive what he has just seen.

He looked at Sammy with a questionable look, who signalled that she'll explain later.

'Dad?' Vami called her dad as she went back home.

Having receiving no response she began looking for him in all rooms.

'Dad where are you?' she asked.

After not finding him in the entire house, she walked to the lawn.

Her body froze as she saw him laying unconscious on the grass.

I was super busy from Monday, so I couldn't write at all until today.

Today, I forcefully took out some time for Wattpad, and after writing this, for some reason I'm not satisfied with this chapter. Sorry for this.

But I promise to come back with an better update next time.
