'Are you still thinking about it?' Vi asked Ro who laid wide awake on his bed.

'Do you think I'm worthy of being the president?'

'Ofcourse Ro you are. This is the least they can do to you after how things have been for you.'

'Exactly Vi. I don't want to be the president because of that incident and  because they think they've been unfair to me.'

'Don't you know that it's not the only reason? Don't overthink about it Ro. You are the bcci president and I'm the head coach and together we'll take our country to many more heights. Now let's sleep. We have a busy day tomorrow.' Vi began patting Ro as if he was some four year old to put him to sleep.

'Good night Vi.'

Just when they were about to fall asleep they heard a knock on their door.

'Are you guys awake?' asked Mahi bhai.

'Bhai.' Virat excitedly got down from the bed and went to open it while Ro made a few adjustments in the bed to make place for three of them to sleep together.

'I couldn't sleep alone. That's why I came to sleep with my kiddos.' Ms stated as he got onto to the bed after Vi.

'Bhai no, you should sleep in the middle. It's unfair that only Vi could sleep next to you now.' whined Ro.

'No let's stay this way. I want to be in between both of you, my Mahi bhai and my Ro.' pleaded Vi with puppy eyes.

'No Vi, even I want to sleep with bhai ' Ro was adamant.

'Grrr Grrr' Vi began snoring.

'I know it's just action Vi.' Ro said dryly and Vi stuck his tongue out.

'So you don't want me next to you?' Vi asked him.

'Ofcourse I do. But I also want Mahi bhai.  I-' before Ro could argue anymore a yawn slipped his mouth and he suddenly stopped caring about anything but his sleep and dozed off in a minute.

'He sleeps like a baby.' Mahi bhai said ruffling his hair.

'You mean to say something like kumbhkaran?'

'No cheeku, I exactly said what I meant. Now let's sleep as well.'

'Wake up love birds. We need to go hunting.' jaddu screamed as he entered their room while Bhuvi opened the blinds.

'And no we aren't gonna hunt anything.' kl informed him.

'What about treasure hunt then?' Harry asked.

'As if there's any treasure around here.' Jinks stated.

'But there's no harm in trying right.' yuzi was the last one to join the room as Vi and Ro got up from the bed.

'I smell pancakes.' Ro said as he followed the aroma and the rest followed him.

They were all in Mahi bhai's farm house for the weekend.

'Good morning bhai. When did you leave the room?' Vi smiled warmly as he embraced M.S

'Good morning cheeku.  Just a while ago. Slept well?' he asked ruffling Vi's hair.

'Why was I not given this treatment?' asked Rishu.

'Because I'm his most loved kiddo.'

'That's not fair.' Rishu whined.

'But you are my most loved kiddo.' Ro came to his rescue.

'What am I then? A tomato?' asked jassi.

'But why only tomato? You could have said pumpkin, brinjal, cabbage-' Harry began listing all the possible vegetables he could think of.

'Shut up Harry. That's not the point here.' jassi scowled.

'You know how much I love you right jassi.' Ro pinched his cheeks.

'Not as much as he loves me but yeah he does love you.' Vi was quick to add.

'Rah why are you crying?' all of them looked in his direction owing to Bhuvi who had just entered inside with the others. 

'What happened?' Vi was concerned.

'I am not crying.' lied Kl.

'I saw him wiping his tears. He's lying.' stated Jinks.

'It's all fine now, isn't it? Stop thinking about it ' Jassi comforted him leaving the others confused about what was happening.

Rahul nodded his head while Harry poked his arm as he said, 'What are both my besties talking about behind my back, huh?'

'We would always talk about scenarios like this. It's just that we didn't expect things to get back to normal for real.' Rahul admitted.

Virat and Rohit exchanged looks of guilt. As they tried explaining Jinks stopped them by saying, 'Can we bury the past and move on? I don't want us to waste even a second more by apologising or feeling guilty about the past. I don't want us to be angry with you two for going away leaving us neither do I want you to regret it. I only want us all to forget the past and start afresh happily but remembering the fact that if trouble arrives this time, we'll all be in it together, trusting each other, no matter what.'

'Yeah I'm sorry for -' Rahul began giving an explanation for his tears.

'Shh, it's not meant only to you but to all of us.' jassi hugged him who was very quickly joined by Harry who had FOMO in milliseconds.

'Right, it's time for us to enjoy again.' jaddu announced as he began sprinkling coloured water on all of them.

'Wtf Harry? It's not Holi today.' screamed Bhuvi horrified by the fact that his white shirt was now blue.

'So what? Enjoyment has no dates.' announced yuzi dryly as he joined jaddu.

'That's true. Happiness indeed doesn't require occasions.' that approving smile for Mahi bhai made all of them, even those who were against it until then to participate in it, completely drenching themselves and their brothers.

'So I was telling- What the heck is happening here?!' Nush quickly retraced her steps out from there not willing to become their victim.

'Our husbands have gone mad again.' Rits sighed.

'But isn't this better than them being all gloomy?' sakshi asked and they instantly agreed. They stood a safe distance from the scene and enjoyed seeing their husbands happily enjoy.

That was what they dreamt of witnessing all those long days.

The dream that has become their reality.
