'Chachu'

'Chachu, wake up!'

'Why are you sleeping like a dead body? Wake up chachu!!'

Upon understanding that her whispering would not work she decided to opt the infamous way used by her chachu to wake her dad.

'I'm sorry sorry ' she whispered before doing the deed.

SPLASH

'What the-' he opened his eyes and saw Sammy with an empty glass in her hand.

'I tried waking you gently but you were sleeping like a log so I had to do what you'd do.' she said sheepishly.

'Because it's you and no one else, it's ok.' he said as he wiped his hair with the blanket.

'So she can do it while I can't do it?' Ro questioned as he walked into the room.

'I'm gonna enjoy this. I should bring Vami also.' Sammy murmured to herself and leaped out of the room.

Vami, Rits and Nush were in the backyard sipping their tea while chatting about something.

'Vami come fast.' Sammy was out of breath.

'Why are you panting?' Vami asked.

'Cause I ran dumbhead. Now if you wanna get entertained hurry.' Sammy spun around and lept back into the house.

Vami stood there clueless and Rits decided to enlighten her.

'Ro and Vi must be fighting about something.'

'Just a half glass.' bargained Ro.

'No your daughter splashed an entire glass. I'll catch cold now.' Vi tried to escape.

'Just for a half glass? You would have poured atleast 100 litres of water on me by now. And I'm only asking for half glass.'

'Hey-' Vami has just entered and was silenced by Sammy who was enjoying the show.

'Sh! Don't interrupt them. Be silent.' murmured Sammy.

'I bet they won't pay heed to us.' Vami challenged.

'Umm, let's test it.'

"Virat Kohli is a better player than Rohit Sharma"

"I love Ro chachu more than dad"

"Dada is just annoying "

"Dad grew older"

"Mumma cooks better food than dada"

"Dad snores like a pig"

'They aren't paying any attention to us!' cried Sammy.

'Let's switch the gear 'Vami winked.

"I KISSED A GUY ON MY EIGHTEENTH BIRTHDAY"

'What??' they shrieked with surprise.

'Oh so you are able to hear us. I thought otherwise. Come Sammy let's go.' Vami took Sammy along and they left the room.

'Did Sammy say that she kissed a guy?' asked Vi.

'I've heard it too. Was she saying the truth?' Ro gasped.

'How could you let this happen to my Sammy?'

'She's my daughter, remember?'

'Yeah her antics resemble yours too.' Vi replied dryly.

'Relax Vi, I'm sure they were doing that just to get out attention.'

'Are you sure?' asked Vi uncertainly.

'I think so. And look even if she kissed a guy what's wrong? She's old enough to figure it out. Also you know what we did in that age. Don't you?' Ro was cool about while Vi was certainly not.

'That's very bad parenting Ro. I'd rate you 40/100. What if that guy is an asshole?'

'You are just overthinking, come let's go out for a stroll.'

Meanwhile:

'So what am I supposed to do?' Ziva asked M.S

'Let's- Let's go spend some time with Sakshi happily.' he suggested and she agreed.

She was happy that she didn't have to spend time only with him.

'Mumma, how are you feeling now?' Ziva gently held Sakshi's face and asked while M.S opened the blinds.

'I'm fine now. Also I don't like staying alone in this room. I want you all to stay with me all the time.' she stated holding both of them closely.

'I'm gonna stay with you all the time mumma.'

'It's suffocating in here. I want to go get some fresh breath Mahi.'

'Just a few days more. Then we can go wherever you want to.' he caressed her hair.

'And you know what mumma? I will take you with me to work for a day.  Everyone loves and respects me so much.'

'Are you safe over there? Why can't you shift your job here? We can all stay together right.'

'I will try mumma. But being an army doctor makes me feel complete. But maybe I'll change my decision now. I want to be by your side always.'

'And what do you wanna do Mahi once all of this ends?' sakshi asked.

'I just want you to be happy. So I'm willing to do anything that brings happiness to you.' he replied.

For them it was a normal statement but for him it was an oath.

'And what do you want mumma?' Ziva asked.

'Honestly I still can't come to peace with the fact that I've lost a child. I still feel like I'm carrying a baby. And also I missed seeing you grow up. This is all so weird and difficult. So once I'm all healthy I'd start a orphanage. Then not just two I'm gonna have hundreds of children and I can witness them all growing up.' though she managed to say it without tears the other two couldn't stop their tears.

'I'm sorry Sakshi. It's all because of me.'

'No Mahi, it's not your fault. Don't cry please.' she wiped his tears while Ziva managed to wipe hers before her mom could notice it.

'I promise I'll set everything right.' he said.

'I only want you to be by my side. Three of us living together until the very end is what I want. And ofcourse cheeku, Ro and the first too. I'm really so proud of you for sorting out your issues with them Mahi. I really am.'

Ziva guffawed upon hearing it and pitied her mom at the same time.

'What's wrong Zivu?' asked Sakshi while M.S knew what exactly was wrong.

'Nothing mumma. There was some discomfort in my throat.' she covered up.

'Do you need me to get you something sakshi?' M.S asked his wife.

'No don't go anywhere. I just want you to be here.' she stopped him from getting up.

'Definitely. You should now go to sleep.' he told her.

'So that you can go away?' she asked.

'No, I'm gonna be here when you wake up from your sleep. Ziva will be there too. But you should now rest.'

'Yes mumma, we'll be right here holding your hands. Please sleep.'

'I will.'
