Idk what's wrong with me ( or right) but I've written two chapters in a single day and that too this chapter was done in just 30 mins after a very long time.
Also ur comments on the last chapter, mainly u guys telling me to rest boosted me so much and here in the next chapter.

We are nearing the end. Only two chapters, one bonus chapter,  epilogue are left🤧

I'll try to write both the chapters tomorrow and update if I can.

27 hours later:

'Bhabhi, can I come in?' Vi asked skeptically standing by the door.

'Do you need permission to meet me? Come in.' spoke her week voice.

'I'm sorry I didn't come to meet you all these days. It still haunts me and I couldn't face you. I'm sorry.' though he wanted to not cry in front of her, seeing her lying on the bed broke him once again.

'Shh! Don't cry Vi. How long are you gonna keep carrying the guilt? You did no wrong. Also look I'm fine now. Everything is normal.' she pacified him.

He wanted to talk about it and apologise heartfully but feared that it might trigger her. So instead he choose to just stay close to her for a while.

'I've spoken to Vami once and she's so beautiful both in and out. So is Sammy. You two have done a great job in parenting. Seeing them together reminds me of seeing you two together.'

Again, Vi knew he played no role in raising her. She was all alone by herself. That made him think that he failed in all aspects.

'We are actually planning to leave by evening. Nush has some work so we'll get going. We'll meet you again very soon.' he said.

'You can't go already. This is not done Vi.' she sulked.

'I'm sorry bhabhi. But it's important. I promise we'll be back soon.' he made an excuse when in real he knew that he'd never be able to come back to that house.

'Why didn't Nush mention about this yesterday?' asked Sakshi.

'You talked to her yesterday?'

'Nush and Rits are being with me most of the time. Even yesterday we had so much fun. We talked so much and it was nice and refreshing for me as well. What do you think? Only you boys will spend time together and not us? They visit me more often than even Mahi and Ziva.'

'I'm glad that you are happy. I know you'll need time to cope with all this. But I know that you are so much stronger than any of us. And we are by your side always.' he affirmed.

'By my side always by going away today?' she taunted.

That made him reevaluate his decision. Facing M.S was definitely hard for him and Ro but does sakshi not deserve having them by her side. Should he not be there for her when he's responsible for her state?

What if he talks to Ro about it? He knew his Ro. He knew for sure that Ro would agree with Vi to stay there.

'Where are you lost Vi?' sakshi snapped her finger.

'Umm nothing. You know what? We won't be going anywhere. We'll stay here with you.' he said.

'And what about that important work?'

'It can wait. Anything can wait because no one or nothing is more important to us than you.' he told her.

'Is that because of love or pity?' she asked making him smile thinking how she resembles him.

'It's because we love you the most. And now you should go to sleep. We've spoken so much and you should rest. I'll come back later in a while.'

'I'll be waiting Vi. And yeah ask Ro to tag along. He didn't visit me for the last 15 hours.' she told him.

'I will. Go to sleep now.' he left the room and went to Ro's room to talk to him.

'Where were you?' asked Ro as soon as Vi walked in.

'I've finally mustered the courage and spoke to bhabhi. And I was thinking -' he stopped midway as he was unsure about it.

'What are you thinking? Are you alright?' asked a concerned Ro.

'Why are you always concerned about others Ro? For a change why can't you let out what you feel?'

'What is this about?' Ro asked.

'It's about Mahi bhai. I know for sure that it pains you immensely. I know that you want him to apologise. And I know that your theory of 'I've moved on, I don't think about my cricket or those who didn't stand by me. I only want Rits,Sammy, Vi, Nush and Vami' is just bullshit.' Vi burst out.

'It's not what you think it is Vi.' lied Ro.

'I know you enough to figure it out Ro. I know you want your Mahi bhai back into your life and that it hurts you to see him be unaffected by all this. Why  can't you just accept it?'

'What's the use Vi? How is that gonna change anything? There's nothing that can be done now. He doesn't want me back in his life that's why he's not bothered about it. What should I do? Should I beg him in return to ask for an apology?'

'That's not what I meant Ro. I just want you to be able to talk to me heartfully. I want you to know that there are people who love you and are by your side.' Vi slid his arm around his neck.

'And I know that Vi. I really know that I'm loved and trust me that's what keeps me going even after all that has happened. It's just that I'm not good with sharing stuff and you know that. But trust me, I'm really happy in life with all of you. Yes, coming back here did stir a few things inside me but I'll get over them once we leave from here.'Vi wiped Ro's tears as he explained.

And that reminded Vi about what he actually wanted to talk to Ro about.

'Ro, I wanted to talk to you about something.' he said hesitantly.

'What is the matter Vi?'

Tring! Tring!

Vi's phone rang and it was from an unknown number.

'This reminds me that I've forgot my phone in your room. I'll go get it.' Ro said as he left the room.

'Hello' Vi picked up the call.

'Vi, I'm Rah' spoke the voice nervously.

'Kl. Rahul?' asked Vi hoping for the person to say yes.

'Vi, Mahi bhai is injured. He's condition is critical. We've admitted him in a hospital. I'll share the details on whatsapp. Can you all please come?' he was on the verge of crying.

'Vi, I have a four missed calls from someone.' Ro wanted into the room and saw Vi freezed in shock.

'What happened Vi?' he asked.

'Mahi bhai is in critical condition.'
