I remember vividly, Khalifa said, and I quote,"If you are ready to talk, I'm a call away."

Well, I've been trying to call him for a while now, and his phone is not reachable.

Khalifa is really stressing me out. Now that I'm ready to talk, he's not picking up his calls.
Unbelievable.

I think I need to make posters because my darling husband is missing for more than a week. I've been trying to call him, but it's not going through. My day is usually filled with my fake smiles in the hospital, and then I come back and curl up on my empty bed, missing my husband.

I feel miserable.
Where on earth is Khalifa.

I'm back from my shift, and my mood suddenly changes. It's always like that.
I called Hanan to help me ask Sultan whether he knows Khalifa's whereabouts.

"Jidda, he said you should go to his office, but he's not sure because Khalifa might be at a site checking some work."

"Please send in the address."
"Ok bye."

I don't have any shifts today, so I had my morning sleep.
I took my bath and searched for an ankara gown.
Perfect, I found the one that matches my taste.
I tied my heardwrap and fixed my ear rings and nose cuff.
I look good, one more thing perfume, yes.

I grabbed the car keys and headed out.
Once again, I used Google Map.
I arrived at the building, and I must say my husband is rich. I mean, look at this building. I'm proud of him.
I went straight to the front desk.

"Oh, Mrs. Muhammad, it's you, welcome, this way."
I stared at her like I'm missing something, I mean, how does she know me.

"How did you know me."

"Oh, ma, Sir, has a huge portrait of you in his office, and we saw your wedding pictures as well."
I can't help but smile at the thought of it.

"You look more beautiful in person."
"Thank you." She's so sweet.

"Is Khalifa around?" I asked.
"Sir is in a meeting, but he'll be out soon."
"This way." The staff all greeted me with a smile.

I entered his office, and it's beautiful.
I saw a full portrait of me in my dinner gown looking gorgeous as always. I looked like a happy princess with my smile on.
I couldn't stop myself from snapping the portrait.

The lady sent me some snacks.

I waited for a while before the door of the office was pushed in. There, my husband stands in an office suit with his jacket hanging on his left arm.
His tie is slightly loosed. His eyes widened when he saw me, but he was composed as he further matched in.
This man didn't lose a single hair, yet I was worried. In fact, he looked good.

"Khalifa."
"Sorry for keeping you waiting, I had a meeting, please have a seat." He sat behind the desk.
He didn't even smile or hug me, and that really agitated me.

"I'm not a client. I'm your wife." I gritted out each word.
"I know, but until we talk things through, I want us to keep it professional." He said casually.
What is he talking about.

"Honestly jidda, I feel really bad for hurting, I didn't mean to, I just didn't want to loose you, I love you alot and the thought of loosing you always freaks me out that's why I couldn't tell you even after we're married, but we have nothing to worry about, Aisha is no longer a part of our lives."

"Khalifa, did you seriously call me jidda." I can't believe this handsome man.

"Is that the only thing you grabbed from what I said?" He looked surprised and shocked.

"Well, that's the only thing my head could access." I pouted.

"Come here." I sulked before getting up. I stood by his side, but he gently tugged me down, and I ended on his lap.

"What is it, princess?" He asked in a low tone.

"I missed you, but I guessed you didn't. I tried calling you, but your number was not reachable." I whined.

"My personal phone has been on airplane mode, I thought you'll need a month or more to think things through."
I gasped and dramatically placed my hand over my chest.
"How could I live for a month without you."

"Princess, I only hid the truth from you because I didn't want to lose you." He said calmly.

"I know." I cupped his cheek and gave him a reassuring smile.

He kissed my forehead.
