The problem now is when Khalifa will be back. It's already late, and I don't see any sign of him. I tried calling Aisha to ask her whether he is with her, but her phone is not reachable. I tried his, but it's switched off. It's getting really late and I want to sleep, I was about to enter Khalifa's room, sorry, our room when I decided against it. I'll just sleep in my room.
I prepared my bed and dragged my duvet over me. I feel really empty, I'm so used to cuddling Khalifa before sleeping.

I hope I'm not hallucinating because I'm sure I slept in my room, but when I woke up, I saw myself in Khalifa's room. Did Khalifa bring me here?.
But I don't see any sign of him, I checked all the possible places he could be, but I didn't find a single trace of him except the bathroom, which looks recently used.

"Did Khalifa come back yesterday." I asked one of our guards.

"His Highness came back after subh prayer and went out again."
That explains it. I knew I prayed subh in my room but still found myself in our room this morning.

"Thank you."
Where could that man be.

Should I ask Amma no she'll ask me what happened between us. I carried on with my day, and the same thing happened.

Khalifa carries me from the room, probably takes his bath and change, then goes out.

I really tried to stay awake today after subh prayer, but I easily fall asleep after prayer. I'm honestly tired of this hide and seek.

Khalifa
It's another day to carry jidda back to our room, take my bath, and go out. But the surprising thing is that I saw jidda waiting for me in our room when I was done.
Oh, please.

"Khalifa, we need to talk."
"I don't want to."

"Khalifa, I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to say that I got really angry, and that didn't come out well."

"Jidda, it was a suggestion I wasn't enforcing you to stay at home and become a housewife, I didn't even utter housewife and if you felt offended you could have said Khalifa I really want to work it's my dream and passion I mean say something, I'm not an animal who won't understand but instead you started a baseless argument honestly I was angry when you called me despicable."

I wiped off my body and went into the closet. I could hear her tiny footsteps following me. I wore a pair of drawstring pants.

"Khalifa, I'm really sorry, I would stay at home if that makes you happy."

"You don't get it, do you, I really don't have a problem with you working it was just a suggestion."

"My love, I'm so sorry. Can I make it up to you with a kiss." I really tried to look away, I tried, but not when she's making those cute baby faces. She stood on her toes and kissed me slowly, passionately.

"Are you going out." She asked.
I nodded.

"Good, because I'm feeling really sleepy, I had to continuously pour water on my face so that I don't sleep off."
I was about to wear a shirt when I kept it back.

I picked her up and placed her on the bed. I switched off the light, and she snuggled me, keeping her face on my bare chest. I released her headband and started running my fingers into her hair. She likes it a lot and that makes her sleep very fast.
I kissed her on the forehead.

"Good night, princess."
"Good night, Khalifa." She whispered back.

"You just called me my love a while ago." I chuckled.

"I prefer calling you Khalifa now stop talking. I want to sleep."

"Ok, Princess."

I continued running my fingers into her hair until we all went back to sleep.

I woke up to an empty side. Jidda must be in the kitchen or dining room. I saw Amma's call.

"Good morning, Amma."
"Morning, Alhamdulillah Khalifa, you finally divorced that witch, hanan said she saw it on the internet."

"What do you mean, I'm not getting you."
"The news of your divorce is on the internet. Tell me what prompts you to finally divorce her."

"Mom, she was messing with jidda even after I warned her."
I went on and told Amma everything, and then suddenly I heard the sound of a falling vase.

No, no, no.

Jidda's eyes were filled with anger and horror as she looked at me.

As people say, some secrets are bound to come to light eventually.
