The next day breakfast was being served and now everyone was trying to get over Marik's evil plot of being in this tournament  to take down the Pharaoh and anyone that will come his way. Hotaru wasn't believing his wicked scams that he might be holding in his sleeves that he has planned and that means there is no telling if she can be qualify with him at all. 

"Hotaru, you've been awfully quiet lately and i'm really worried about you." Tea said as Hotaru turns around with a fake smile.

"I'm fine Tea. I was having a moment to myself that I have something coming in my mind." Hotaru assured as Tea smiled.

"If you need anyone to talk to; i'm there when i'm needed." She said giving her a wink as she went back to talk with Yugi and Joey.

Hotaru sighs as she looked at her plate of food she made and notice Marik wasn't around to enjoy the delicious meal. Hotaru went  to make a second plate for him and see where his room is to give the plate of food to him. When Hotaru went to go find the room number she remember his and went inside since the door was cracked open for her to go inside.

Yami Marik Pov

I was busy in my room thinking of some plan to get the Pharaoh's soul during this tournament that will be the last for to be ruling in his place and once I take over. The world will bow down for me! 

"Excuse me?" I heard that mortal 'Hotaru' enter in without a knock.

"What do you want? Don't you know its rude to enter a room without a knock?" I scowled as she hunched back a bit as she gulped.

"I...I was only coming here to bring you a plate of delicious breakfast. I figure that you don't want to come out into the light like everyone else is and you want to wait until everyone leaves once you get you're dish. Here." She hand me the plate in a thoughtful way that I glared at her.

"Why do you even bother to help me when I can do it myself?"I snapped as she sat in a chair and ate her food that was getting cold.

"Because I thought I could help you out when your in the dark." She said in a simple monotone.

"I appreciate your kindness devil, but that's not going to work with the kind of evil scheme your pulling me through into the softness of yours."I said as she shrugged.

"Think all you want Marik. I'm not doing any scheme's to make you soft anyway." She said in a dull expression as she stood up on her feet and had the plate in her hands and made her to the door. 

"Where are you going?"

"I'm going to see who the next person is going to duel another. I'll see you soon." She exit my room as I chuckled.

The poor girl thinks that will be the silent glieve of her's will cheer me up and won't when her soul will be taken away once I have the power as Pharaoh.

Hotaru Pov

I hurry back to the other's when Yami gave me a curious look and asked, "Where were you? The duel round about is about to start."

"Sorry. I had to go feed someone if they didn't have the strength to duel." He chuckle as the man was ready to announce the next two duelist to duel in the next tournament.
