Hotaru Pov

I was trying to get out of Marik's grip and no use that I was going to get away from him.

"I-I'm sorry for intruding Marik!" I said in a quick tone as he set me down on my feet.

"You should be and with that I wouldn't mind to take your soul weakling." He pointed his millennium item at my face as I trembled in fear that my heart began to beat in agony as I held my chest and breathed heavily.

Marik looks down at me confused as he walked forward saying,"What's wrong? Why are you breathing so much?" 

"I...I need water! Please!" I begged him as he went to go get some and he immediately ran back to hand it over to me. I gulped down the cool fresh water down as I gasped for air as my heart stopped and beat at its normal pace.

"What is wrong with you exactly?" Marik raised an eyebrow confused.

"It's something you won't understand. Thank you for the water though." I flash a small smile at him as he glared at me. 

"Don't try to thank me mortal. You have other things to worry about and that's your soul in this tournament." He grinned evilly.

"W-Why do you want everyone's soul?" I stutter.

"Because they don't need to be here, and for I have been expecting Pharaoh to be here in this competition. I will rule the world and become the new Pharaoh!" He laughed wickedly at me as I look away from him. 

"I don't understand what's the purpose of you stealing someone's soul away. You being called Pharaoh wouldn't work for that kind of plan that you have in mind." I shook my head to hear that nonsense of his.

"You wish to be so blind when I can wipe away the pain inside of you." He snickered as I scowled at him.

"I don't want to hear anything that you have planned and especially when I have other things to worry and that's to win this tournament with all the strength I have with my deck." I assure him as I walked passed him.

"Suit yourself little Devil, you cannot be capable of ignoring the darkness that will soon be removing your soul mortal."He snickers as I sighed.

"The names Hotaru. I suggest you don't bother messing with me. So what if you have dark powers to take it away? My eyes won't play tricks on me until I see it." I said as I exit out of the room on my way back to my room.
