Hotaru Pov

I then woke up to find myself in someones room that I remembered to be my father's lab and I couldn't stop forgetting that day from when the accident happened. I then sat up to see Marik sitting on the other side of the bed as he had a worried facial expression.

"Hotaru..." He gasped as I held my head.

"I'm okay. It was only a nightmare I had in my sleep that I can't seem to...get away from it." I said as he nodded slightly.

"It seems as if the other's have turned against you. I apologize to hear about what happened to  you." He said as I gave him a small smile.

"It's okay. I deserved it anyway from what they think is in their eyes." I said.

"It reminds me of how my life was nothing but only a waste. My whole family would only take care of that 'so called Pharaoh' " Marik grumbled.

"You were jealous of him. Weren't you?" I grinned playfully.

"It was always like that. Until my weaker side created me that day and..." He said as he was lost at words as my smile dropped.

"You were only created?" I asked shocked.

"That's how I was born, devil." He said as I leaned against him.

"It's okay Marik. I'm with you and i'm your friend whenever you need me." I smiled as he brushed through my short raven hair. 

"I appreciate your comfort Hotaru. What was that nightmare you had?"

"Oh. It was only a childhood I had in the lab accident and it's the reason why i'm breathing so hard from how often you've seen it. My father is a scientist and works in his lab sometime and...it can get a little weird when he has creatures in there that he created them." I explained as he nodded.

"I see. He seems creepy to me." I chuckle a little as I sat up.

"I better get going then." I said as he pulled me back in the bed.

"I refuse you to leave this room. You can rest and even though Wheeler has been recovered by your powers. I prefer you to relax or the other's will get suspicious of your actions." He said as I obeyed him.

"Alright. Thanks for caring Marik." I said as I went to sleep to relax for a bit without being hurtful to the other's.
