We didn't fly back to England since the next race is next week already. We had a long flight ahead of us to Shanghai. We'll stay there the whole week, have the race on Sunday and fly to England afterwards. Then there will be time to pack and move all of our stuff to Monaco. It seems like one long rush for the next weeks.

I used my time on the plane to recover from the weekend. I slept most of the time because I was still exhausted from Friday when I felt ill. It's probably a cold I caught because of the whole traveling. Landing in Shanghai I felt the warmth immediately. We stepped out of the airplane and I felt the sticky air making me all sweaty. That kinda ruined my mood.
After checking in I had a shower and just spend the time in my bed, texting with Blair and my family. I wasn't feeling like doing anything today.

The week was similar to any other week. I worked with the boys, did the track walk with Daniel and was into all of the data on the monitors I always look at. I recovered from my cold, at least that's what I thought it was and got really excited for Sunday.
Preparation on Sunday morning went as usual, I took a look at the boys, seeing if they need any assistance from me. "Let's make a bet." I said. The boys looked at me with a questioning look. "If any of you two wins today, I'll have a shoey." I said, proudly presenting my idea. Now that I rethink my idea, I shouldn't have started this bet. The chances are high that one of the boys will win today after seeing yesterday's qualifying results. They both smirked at each other and nodded in agreement.
"That will be a lot of fun today." Max says.

The race went bad and good at the same time. Max made it to P3 which was a relief for both him and the team. But the real bad thing is that Daniel actually won the race and I have to have a shoey now. The celebration ceremony was already over and I sprinted back into the garage, hoping Daniel won't find me. I peeked around the corner and Daniel caught me. "Ahhhh there she is, here comes the shoey." he says, not able to stop laughing. He took off his shoes, filled it with champagne and took the first sip. As usual he really enjoyed that. "Now you, that was the bet." he replies, handing me the shoe. In this moment I wish I never started this bet. I closed my eyes and took a sip out of his shoe. I swallowed and simply tried to forget this experience.
Daniel saw the unamused look on my face and pulled me into a hug. "You really did it I'm proud of you." he tells me, still laughing like crazy.

Back in the UK the first thing I thought of was sleeping. I couldn't relax on our flight back here since there were a lot of turbulences going on.
The next Grand Prix will be Baku. We have one whole week off which means we'll move to Monaco this week. Daniel and Max thought about Wednesday and I agreed. Even though I was pretty tired, I started to gather all my clothes and other belongings together. I'm glad that this is a furnitured flat and that I don't have to worry about shipping all of it to Monaco.
I had most of my stuff packed, glad about the fact that I can recover tomorrow. Right now I feel like living in a rush, which I was really excited for before I attended the job. Now I know how exhausting it can be. I'd still chose it anytime again.

I fell asleep quickly, not waking up until 10 am the next morning. The first thing I did was taking a look into my fridge. I have to use up all the things in there because I can't take them with me. Gladly there wasn't much left in there because of the last two Grand Prix's.
I helped Daniel and Max in their apartments, packing all their stuff until late at night. We brought the things to the van we borrowed, ready to leave to Monaco tomorrow. We all slept together at my apartment. Gladly I don't have to say goodbye to my apartment forever since my parents decided to rent it as a holiday apartment. Deep down I know they did it for me, in case I want to come back here. Daniel and Max both keep their apartments as well since we have to come back to the factory from time to time. Tomorrow is the day, the day we move to Monaco.

Wednesday, 6 am, we all sat down in the Van, driving off to the Harbour to the catch the ferry in time. We don't need to spent too many hours driving since we'll spend most of the time on the ferry. Even though I was really tired, my excitement was overtaking.
This feels like a new life chapter...
