POV: Jessica

"Use Dragon Pulse!" Aurora ordered, and it took out Mega Man, "That was close!"

"Mega Man, you were great, rest for now!" Dusk sighed, "Rose, you're up!"

"EEVEE!" Rose squealed, and jumped onto the field.

"Okay, here we go." I sighed, "No doubt he's using that special technique from Torren!"

"Rose, we've gotten through a lot of hardships together ever since day one!" Dusk shouted, "Let our bonds show how strong we are, MEGA EVOLVE!"

"That will make things harder, but I'll still win!" Aurora shouted, "Use Flamethrower!"

"Sparkly Swirl!" Dusk shouted, and it dealt a lot of damage, "Now Veevee Volley!"

"Eevee!" Rose shouted, and slammed right into Charla the Charizard, who fought back with a Steel Wing in the face!

"Baddy Bad!" Dusk shouted, but it missed, "Dang it!"

"Wing Attack right on contact!" Aurora shouted, "Don't let up!"

"Nope, use Veevee Volley right at the opponent!" Dusk ordered, "Go get 'em!"

"Wing Attack, now!" Aurora exclaimed, and the attacks collided with each other, "It's gonna be close!"

Soon/POV: Darkrai

"Both Rose the Eevee and Charla the Charizard are unable to battle!" I exclaimed, "It's a draw!"

"Man, so close!" Dusk sighed, and he picked up Rose, "Rose, you were amazing, get some rest for me, okay?"

"Okay Dusk..." Rose sighed, and he placed Rose right next to his leg.

"Okay, Articuno, I'm counting on you!" Dusk exclaimed.

"Mimey, back out!" Aurora shouted, and she sent out the Mr. Mime, "Use Psychic!"

"Use Blizzard!" Dusk shouted, clearly Psychic just made it through, "Dang!"

"Ow..." Articuno groaned, "That's it, taste Hurricane you jerk!"  Articuno slammed Mr. Mime into a wall with the harsh winds.

"That was dramatic, but Mimey is unable to battle!" I shouted, "Aurora, send out your last Pokemon!"

"Dragonite, it's up to you now!" Aurora shouted, "We can do this!"

"Use Blizzard!" Dusk shouted.

"Use Flamethrower!" Aurora shouted, and Dusk looked shocked when it hit, "Now, Steel Wing!"

"Hurricane!" Dusk shouted, but before Articuno could move, the Steel Wing slammed it to the ground, "Articuno!"

"Articuno is unable to battle!" I shouted, "The winner is Aurora!"

"Good battle Aurora!" Dusk sighed, "Man, I was so close of winning, I could feel it!"

"Yeah, but hey, you did great!" Aurora exclaimed, "Let's battle again someday!"

"Agree!" Dusk chuckled.

Back in Vermlion City/ POV: Ashlie

Me, Serena, Goomba, Max, and Bonnie all went to the Vermilion City Police station to talk to the Officer Jenny to get an old friend back!

"Excuse me, Officer?" Goomba questioned, and Jenny looked at him, "Hi, I'm Goomba Daybreak, and I'm here to talk to a Squirtle I heard was grieving."

"Oh, you mean the leader of the Squirtle Squad?" Jenny gasped, "Well, I guess you can try to help." She led us to these four Squirtle and a Wartortle.

"Hey, it's okay boss!" One of the Squirtle exclaimed, "Ash wouldn't want you to suffer about his death!"

"Squirtle?" I gasped in my best impression of Ash, "Are you the Wartortle? Listen, I used to be Ash, even if you don't recognize me..."

"A-Ash?!" Wartortle gasped, "Is that you?!" I nodded, and he hugged me.

"You miss me old friend?" I giggled, "I definitely did!"

"Ash, w-what happened to you?!" Wartortle cried, and we told him about the betrayal, "So, Brock, Misty, and Tracey did this to you guys?!" We nodded, and hugged him again.

"Hey, you want to rejoin me on my journey?" I asked, and Wartortle nodded, "Okay, hmm, hey, is it okay if I nickname you Mikey?" Wartortle nodded.

"That's adorable..." Goomba chuckled, "...anyways, ready to head to Viridian Forest?"

"Yep!" I giggled, and we headed to Viridian Forest.

POV: Viridian Forest/ POV: Serena

Why are we in the forest?

"PIDGEOT!" I heard a shouted, what's that?!

"Pikachu!" Chuster shouted, "Pikachu Pikachu!" And we saw a Pidgeot show up.

"Pidgeot?" Ashlie cried, "Pidgeot, it's me, Ash!" Pidgeot seemed shocked, and Ashlie hugged it.

"Pidgeot?" Pidgeot cried, and Ashlie told her of the betrayal, "Pidge Pidgeot!"

"Hey, I'm still Ash, just not exactly!" Ashlie exclaimed, "You want to join me again?" Pidgeot nodded, and Ashlie tossed a Luxury Ball at the Kanto bird.

"Good job, now, let's head back..." Goomba stated.
