Battle Pyramid/POV: Paul

So me and Ash's rivals: Gary, Trip, Barry, Tyson, Alain, Sawyer, and Bea decided to meet up at the Battle Pyramid and host a tournament for just us to see who is Ash's best rivals.

After Brandon shuffled the card with our names around, he pulled out these match-ups:

Me vs Barry

Alain vs Sawyer

Tyson vs Bea

Gary vs Trip

Yeah um, I mopped the floor with Barry because he couldn't get past my Ursaring, mainly due to his Roserade, poisoning it by accident with the very first move of the match!

Alain and Sawyer's battle lasted longer, but in the end Alain's Bisharp, Tyranitar, and Metagross were too much to handle, and Alain won with his Bisharp and Charizard still left.

Bea well, let's just say her Grappaloct crushed half of Tyson's team, and even without Dynamax her Machamp didn't even show up on the field.

Gary managed to win with Blastoise beating Trip's Serperior with ease due to Ice Beam!

Then was the match-ups for the final four which were:

Alain vs Gary and Bea vs me.

Alain and Gary's battle was close, but Alain won due to Tough Claws Thunder Punch on Mega Charizard X. As for me and Bea, my Ursaring took out half her team before drawing against her Hawlucha, and the while Torterra, Magmortar, and Drapion fell to Machamp and Grapaloct, Electivire took her down with ease because they were weakened so much from my other team members.

So now it was me verses Alain. I heard how he won against Ash, and he said while Charizard is his ace, his Metagross and Tyranitar, if they go one at a time until they faint against Charizard, they can come out on top, meaning Pikachu did a lot of heavy lifting during the finals.

"Thanks, I see the same with you." I stated, "I see how Ash lost to you in Kalos."

All of Ash's other rivals smiled and we decided to head to a place called Hisui Isle for a vacation.

"So Ashlie actually told me about this because Hisuian Forms from Ancient Sinnoh are said to be able to roam this island because of a mysterious crystal in the island's center." Gary stated, "It's also great for training!"

"Yeah let's go then!" Sawyer exclaimed, "It'll be great to explore!"
