KASEY   P.O.V

   I've been practicing 24/7 for about two months now and I'm back to my 14 flat times. I'm getting faster by the practice and with my new horse Charlie, I think we might have a chance at the ERA. 

   Our first rodeo is in Texas on friday and it's wednesday and it's about an 6 hour drive from here, so i'll get there around 4 this afternoon. So I have one hour to spare to pack my stuff, tack, feed, buckets, and care supplies for Charlie and my puppy Gage and take a shower and wash my hair so I will be in a real rush. So I went outside, hooked up my trailer that had the horse trailer part in the back and the living quarters in the front, and I hooked it up to my F-350 four door dully.

*SHANE P.O.V*

   Me and Marty, my traveling partner were already Dallas, Texas from another rodeo yesterday. And it works because he got invited to join the ERA also, so we are going to finish traveling with each for the rest of the rodeo season. 

   We have an two hour drive to Austin because that's where the first rodeo is. It's wednesday and the rodeo is on friday.

   It's 2:30 so we will get there at about 4, and we have till 5 to sign in, then everybody, the bull riders, bronc riders, steer wrestlers, team ropers, tie down ropers, and barrel racers have to meet at Logan's for a dinner to get to know each other, and also see who we have to battle for the wins.

   *SKIPS DRIVE*

   We pulled in right at 4. We circled the parking lot behind the venue for at least 4 minutes, then we finally found a spot for the trailer. Once we parked, while Marty dropped the trailer and got all the feed and thing's out, I went to go sign us in and get the stall numbers for our horses, After I was done signing in and everything, I walked out and ran into two of my good friends Tuf Cooper who is also a tie down roper and Chandler Bownds a bull rider. We were talking until, we heard a voice yelling behind us, coming from one from the new barrel racers named Kasey Fontenot that i read about the other day because the guys were making a fuss about her saying how pretty she is and how amazing she is at barrels.

   "Gage! STOP!!!" Kasey yelled. Witch caught my attention. I turned aroung and saw this little blue pitbull puppy running towards us with a Kasey Fontenot hot on his tail.

   "Whoa there little buddy!" I said when I knelt down and he ran into me, and pushed me back on my butt.

   "Thank you so much, he got out of grip when I was talking to Fallon." she said out of breath.         " It's Shane right, Shane Hanchey, and your a tie down roper, right ?" she asked.

   "Yes that's correct, and your Kasey, the new barrel racer on tour?" I asked.

   "Yeah, Kasey Fontenot. And thank your again for catching Gage, and sorry about your jeans." she said sweetly.

   "Oh, your welcome, and don't worry about my pants I have plenty trust me." I answered back.

   "Oh, yeah ok, so will I be seeing you at the dinner tonight ?" asked Kasey.

   "Yes ma'am, you will." I answered.

   "Ok, see you tonight. Bye Shane." she replied.

   "Bye Kasey, see ya." I replied.
