A cool breeze across the air laughter everyone being pared up, mk watched from the rooftops with a bittersweet smile on his face staff in hand watching everyone walk by being close to each other after all it was Valentine's Day he sighed backing away from the ledge and he stretched

"Alright time for training with monkey king I'm not gonna let some stupid day get me down!"

Mk transformed into a bird and few to flower fruit mountain he walked into the cavern calling out for his mentor

"Monkey king?monkey king!im here to train surprise"

Mk was only answered by silence he went to the little house and knocked in the door after a few minutes a very flushed monkey king in a bath robe with very messy hair

"H-hey bud what's up d-did you need something"

"Is that a bite mark on your shoulder"

"N-no it's not I'm good everything is totall-"

"Peaches get your ass back here right now"

"Is that macaque?"

"Mk listen to me help please I won't be able to train you from a couple days if you don't-"

Before he could even finish macaque tackled him and macaque looked over at mk and smiled at him giving him a letter before closing the door mk was slightly shocked but then just walked away he really didn't want to see what was going on with them he sighed and head back to the city wondering what he should do instead it was just a celebration he couldn't really celebrate like lots of other people it was fine totally yeah mk was fine everything was completely fine...probably

Mk walked through the city looking around the arcade was a good idea but it'd be a bit boring without Mei she was going on about some spider girl the day before whatever that was but in other words Mei was busy pigsy and tang were acting like a married couple perusal was there anyone that wasn't busy seriously what's up with everyone having a Valentine mk like the holiday chocolates and everybody being happy with there partner but all it did was remind him how single he was

"Wait a minute Mei mr.tang pigsy why do i feel like I'm forgetting someone....sandy!"

Mk ran over to Sandy's boat finally someone he could hangout with he had a huge smile of relief his boredom would finally be over they could drink tea or something and play with the therapy cats mk looked around the boat and he heard Sandy's voice just around the corner probably talking to mo

"You're just adorable"(sandy said that)

Mk looked around and his smile immediately faded he saw sandy talking with some spider guy apparently sandy had a secret boyfriend and they were drinking tea and playing with cats the betrayal mk felt he was upset he launched himself with his staff he couldn't take it anymore anyone worked at this point just anyone at all he landed in a place he didn't really recognize it dark but just light enough to be able to see he could hear people shouting the voices quite familiar

"But you can't be serious what do you mean you're,you're leaving!?this is the seventh time this week and it's only Thursday!"

"Would you rather us stay then and just kick you out? You can stay here and tinker with those toys if yours no complaints"

"But mother-"

"That's finally redson enjoy your time alone and maybe we might even give you a little sibling in return"

Redson was speechless he was infuriated Pif and dbk just left teleporting away from him he slammed his fist on the ground

"Ugh! Fine I don't need you anyway enjoy your stupid-whatever you guys are doing!"

Mk tried not to laugh at redsons outburst
And he accidentally kicked a piece of metal that was on the ground and redson froze mk tried hiding

"Who's there come out now before I burn you to a crisp"

"H-hey redson you seem agitated so I'll just go-"

"Stay right there"

"Oh um ok?"

Mk stood there as redson grabbed a bunch of stuff and put it around him and then grabbed mks hand squishing there cheeks together and taking a photo mk was seriously confused at what was going on and redson sent the picture to his parents

"Serves them right,i honestly hate Valentine's Day"

"Same"

"Oh you're still here"

"I mean yeah I am hey redson wanna-"

Redson kissed mks cheek and then turned back to his phone mk was shocked his ears turned red

"W-what did you do that for"

"Well that's what you were gonna ask wasn't it"

"I was gonna ask if you wanted to hangout  since we both seem to be single and alone on you know Valentine's Day"

"Y-you want to hangout with me?!"

"You were fine with kissing my but hanging out is what shakes you up?"

"It was different ok I mean did you at least like the kiss"

"No I didn't"

"Why not"

"Because I wished you kissed my lips"

Redson cupped his cheeks closing his eyes and then properly on the lips mk soon melted into the kiss and closed his eyes he was enjoying the sudden kissing he moved his hands to the back of redsons head pulling him closer they kissed for a while longer before pulling away

"So what's with kissing me"

"Well I am I demon I thought you might taste good"

"Wait what"

"Don't worry I won't eat you it just means I like you"

"You like me?!"

"I mean I thought I'd be an appropriate time to tell you it is Valentine's Day"

"I guess Valentine's Day isn't that bad"

"I suppose this means you'll be my valentine and date me"

"It does"

"Well that's fine with me"

Redson held mk close and he closed the picture book mk smiled at redson as they relived that sweet memory it was Valentine's Day twenty years from then redson was busy cooking with pigsy Mei with her girlfriend and sandy with huntsman wukong and macaque doing his knows what only the celestial realms could tell him personally mk didn't want to know and tang trying to bribe redson for food with the promise to marry mk,mk just laughed as redson eagerly tried to steal him the food but pigsy stopped him telling him they wouldn't have cooking lessons anymore it was nice mk was glad he ran into redson that day  he was glad redson took that photo being alone wasn't actually that bad when you meet someone just as single mk hugged the photo album

Happy Valentine's Day everyone even if you don't have a valentine have the best day ever I mean have a good day every day you guys are fucking awesome as the best student in this arena my lovely little warriors I gift you all weapons be little trouble maker start fires and just make it through another day best of days
