ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ๐ด๐ท๐ธ๐ฟ๐ด๐ผ๐ท๐ธ arrived at the bonfire by herself, having a sneaky suspicion the others were hiding something from her. She had other things to worry about though, rather than trying to find out their secret, no matter how much she wanted to know. It wasn't like they've kept secrets from her before - note the sarcasm.

"Hey Bekah," Adelaide laughed as she watched the blonde Original struggle to fill the red solo cup she held with beer. "Need some help," she offered downing the rest of her own drink from the flask she had brought with her. High school alcohol was terrible so she stole some of Damon's bourbon earlier and filled a flask with it.
"You alright there?" Stefan then walked up to the two girls, looking specifically at Rebekah.

"I thought Tyler would be here." Adelaide rolled her eyes at the blonde's response, still not happy that was she was trying to take everything away from Caroline.
"You're into Tyler, now, huh? It's kind of fickle." Stefan scoffed, loving to tease her and provoke the stronger vampire, despite the fact she could easily kill him.

"When you're willing to give me the time of day again, then we'll talk. Until then, a girl has needs." Rebekah snapped back angrily.

"Hey, calm down there blondie. It's been ninety years Bekah. He's moved on, so should you." Adelaide shot at her, taking another gulp of the alcohol after handing Rebekah a filled cup of the beer.

"Who's side are you on?" She turned to Adelaide, gesturing her arms out wide.

"My own. You're all pathetic. Just leave each other alone if you don't like each other." Adelaide snapped back.

"Are you drunk?" Stefan frowned at her, slightly amused but only slightly.

"No, Stefan. I am not drunk. Why do you think I'm not in the right mind just because I'm not picking sides? And in case you didn't know, it is impossible for me to get drunk. Trust me I've tried." She replied, sending him a sarcastic smile.
"Excuse me," Elena then pushed past both Adelaide and Rebekah to get to the beer.

"Elena, hi. What are you doing?" He asked the other Gilbert.

"I'm having fun, Stefan. You got a problem with that?" Adelaide shared a look of amusement with Rebekah as Elena began to down the beer she had just poured herself from the keg.

"All right, take it easy." Stefan made a move to take the cup away from her but Elena pulled back. "We both know you're kind of a lightweight." It was true to be honest.

"Uh-huh," Elena coughed sarcastically, "Really? You think I'm going to let a blood addict tell me how to drink?" She glared at him before walking away as Rebekah let out a laugh.

"Next time... don't be an ass. To either of us." Adelaide glowered at Stefan, before turning and walking away.

After wondering around for about forty minutes Adelaide went to find her sister, only to find Elena at the bleachers laid on one of the top benches.
"Hey," she walked up towards her and sat down on the bench below where Elena was. "I have never seen you this drunk before." She laughed, turning to look down at her sister.

"Well, I have never seen you the smallest bit drunk before." Elena responded, holding her two fingers up showing a small amount.

"Yeah, it seems I can't get drunk - or it'll take a lot of alcohol to get me drunk. I could become an alcoholic without suffering the affects of being drunk, including being drunk." She titled her head to the side, a smile forming on her face.

"Adelaide..." Elena whispered softly after laughing at her comment.

"Hmmm," the girl hummed in response.

"What do you see in Klaus?" Adelaide sighed at her sisters question.

"I don't know." She answered truthfully. "Believe it or not, I think we're quite similar in some ways." Elena turned her head to the side to look at her.

"Really? Why?" Elena frowned.

"I'll tell you when you're not drunk." Adelaide avoided answering, hoping Elena would forget all of this tomorrow.

"I don't like it." She suddenly stated.

"What?" Adelaide sighed, looking back down at her.

"You and Klaus." A sigh left the girls lips as she stared at Elena, her lips pursed.

"I know." She nodded, and it was true. She knew Elena didn't like Klaus, no one did, and she knew no one liked the fact that she seemed to be getting close to the hybrid but she couldn't help it. There was just something about him that pulled her towards him.

"He's a monster." Adelaide knew her sister didn't like the thought of Adelaide being close with Klaus, whether as friends or something more but she still felt a wave of anger pass through her from the comment.

"Maybe to you he is." Adelaide patted her head softly, deciding it wasn't worth getting angry over, for now at least. And it was her sisters opinion at the end of the day and she was entitled to have it as long as she didn't do anything other than say it. "You just don't understand him."

"And you do?" Adelaide looked up to the sky, her eyes flickering across the stars.

"More than you think I do." The two girls stared up at the sky for some more time, both in silence as they gazed at the stars but they were interrupted ten minutes later by Stefan.

"I used to know every constellation." Elena told Stefan. "How did I forget them all?" She huffed.

"You're drunk. You need to go home." Stefan placed both his hands on his hips as he stayed close to the bottom of the bleachers.

"Fine." Elena huffed, sitting back up. "Uh, let me find my car." She stumbled into the railed, tripping over her feet.

"You're joking, right?" Stefan raised an eyebrow at her clumsiness caused by the alcohol.

"Uh-oh, it's the fun police." Elena chuckled sarcastically, "I thought that ripper Stefan was supposed to be the life of the party." She taunted him making Adelaide chuckle slightly as she leaned back in her seat, her hands on the bench behind her.

"Well, all right, I'm driving you both home. Come on." Stefan went to turn around, thinking they were going to follow him but Elena had other plans. They needed to keep him distracted still and Elena was way too drunk to actually listen to him anyway. Adelaide's eyes went wide as she saw her sister climbed over the railing to the other side, where if she fell she could seriously hurt herself. Stefan stopped and turned around to face them again, his arms out stretched as he looked at her annoyed.

"What are you, 5? Get down." He told her, his tone serious.

"Why? Are you afraid that I'm going to-ohh." Elena nearly fell as the railing moved from the weight. Adelaide watched with careful eyes just in case but she knew Stefan would catch her before hitting the ground if she did fall, and if Stefan wouldn't Adelaide sure as hell would.

"Ha, that was close." Elena laughed, breathing in a sigh of relief but not really bothered that she nearly fell. "Klaus would not be happy with you." She drunkenly held up a finger and pointed towards Stefan, leaning forward on the railing.

"You're hilarious." Stefan whispered sarcastically, cupping his two hands around his lips before dropping them to his side.

"Look, Stefan, no hands." Elena joked, letting go of the railing as she tried to balance. She went to fall back again but her instincts kicked in and grabbed ahold of the bar before she could fall. Stefan had stepped forward, ready to catch her if needs be. Elena laughed, clearly very, very drunk as pretty much everyone at the bonfire had witnessed, but she accidentally let go again while leaning back and this time she wasn't so lucky in catching the bar. A scream ripped through her throat as she fell backwards, having been at the top of the bleachers. Adelaide rushed down to where she would have ended, seeing Stefan get there a second before her. He caught Elena in his arms bridal style as she stopped screaming.
"I knew you'd catch me." She breathed out, looking up into Stefan's eyes as he slowly let her down. Before anything else could be said between the two Alaric came up from behind and shot Stefan with the wooden bullets laced with vervain.

"You okay?" He asked both of the girls, looking at Elena before sending Adelaide a quick glance.

"Yeah. I'm... fine." Elena said, breathing heavier from the shock even though she had been expecting it. Adelaide just nodded, sending him a reassuring smile.

"You look, uh, not sober." He told Elena.

"Tell me about it." Adelaide rolled her eyes, crossing her arms over her chest, sending Elena a fake smile. Elena just rolled her eyes playfully at her sister.

"The plan worked. That's all that matters." Elena huffed, glancing back down to Stefan's body. "Let's just get him out of here."

Walking towards the car Adelaide ran ahead to open the boot so Alaric could quickly put him in it before anyone saw them carrying a body. They would have a hard time explaining that seen as though none of them were vampires and could compel them to forget. Shutting the boot after Stefan was placed down, Elena ran to get into the passenger seat while Adelaide went around to the other side to get into the back.

"I see al the geniuses came out to the bonfire tonight." Alaric muttered as he nearly dripped over an empty can of gasoline.

"Ric, stop. They need to get out of the car, now." Adelaide's eyes went wide and as she made a move to open the door the car suddenly lit up in flames, starting from the bottom all the way around.

"Elena!" Adelaide yelled out her sisters name, trying to dodge the fire as she attempted to open the door handle. Elena tried to break the window with her boot but didn't have any look. Adelaide stopped pulling at the handle as the flames rose too high. She was panicking and didn't know what to do. Spinning in a circle as she tried to look for something that might break the window, she ran a hand through her hair, spotting someone she was pretty sure was dead stood at the end of where the gasoline trailed led to.

"Vicki? Holy shit?" Adelaide cursed, her eyes going even wider as she stared at Matt's supposedly dead sister, who seemed extremely confused as to why Adelaide could see her. Alaric ran back to the car with a lacrosse stick in hand and began to try and break the glass but it wouldn't work.

"Here let me," Elena had climbed into the back of the car, wanting to see if she could wake Stefan up.

"I'm going to rip the boot off. There's the least fire there." Adelaide yelled out to Ric and ran over to the back of the car. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes for a brief moment as she gripped her hands onto the handle to the boot. She reopened them and pulled on the handle, using as much strength as she could. She tripped backwards, only just managing to steady herself as she looked down to see the handle of the car boot in her hand.

"No," she breathed out, looking back to the car which was about to blow.

"Elena!" The girl yelled out her sisters name and walked back over to the side of the car just as the boot was kicked off from the inside. She rushed back around and helped her sister crawl out.

"Hurry up before it blows." Alaric warned both girls to be quicker, trying to help rush Elena out of the car. Elena was coughing from all the smoke she had inhaled making it difficult for her to climb over the seats, not to mention the fact that she was still partially drunk, although Adelaide was pretty sure this event would have sobered her up more.

"Wait! Wait, wait, wait!" Elena stopped Alaric from dragging her away, making her way back over to Stefan.

"You go, I'll get Stefan." She told the two humans, knowing she would be able to pick Stefan up a lot easier and get out of there quicker. Elena seemed reluctant to leave her but Alaric dragged her away quickly, making it to the other side of the parking lot. Just before the car blew up Adelaide had picked Stefan up and used her speed to run towards Elena and Alaric. She didn't have a second to think before the car blew up, sitting on fire.

"Oh my god." She breathed out, dropping Stefan to the floor. "Wow, Vicki Donovan must have hated you more than I thought."ย
