I was walking up to the boys at the Sandlot.

"Lans. Why are you in a dress?" Ham asked.

"Because I was going to the pool, and I wanted to know if you guys wanna come with." I said.

"Um.." Benny said.

"Benny come on. We're gonna die if we play today." Squints said.

"Yeah. This pop ain't workin'" Bertram said. 

"Ah, fine. Let's go. Well meet you there in fifteen." Benny said. Then they all ran to their houses.

I walked to the pool. I saw Wendy up at the life guard chair. Then I saw all the guys jump into the pool.

"Hey Wends." I said.

"Oh, hey Alana where have you been?" She asked.

"Around." I said.

"Oh, well go have fun, but I really don't wanna have to drag you out of the pool so..." She said. I laughed.

"Will do." I said then jumped into the pool.

"Lans. You know Wendy Peffercorn?" Bertram asked.

"Of course I do. I've known her for years." I said.

"How?" They all asked.

"We go to the same Dance Academy." I said.

"You dance?" They said in unison.

"Yes morons. Baseball is not the only sport I do." I said.

"Dance isn't a sport." Tommy said Timmy repeated it.

"Um yes it is. It's takes so much endurance to be able to dance for five hours straight." I said. They all looked shocked. I could tell Squints was staring at Wendy.

Hes been doing it for three years.

"I've been coming to this pool for three years. I see her lotioning, oiling, lotioning oiling. I can't take it anymore!" Squints said then got out if the pool and went off the deep end. Literally! BAHAHAHA. I'm so hilarious.

"What is that dipstick doing?" I asked.

"I don't know, but that's the deep end and he can't swim." Bertram said.

Squints jumped in. We all started yelling. Wendy dived into the pool. She retrived him.

She started giving him mouth to mouth.

"Squints! Pull through buddy." I said. We all started saying things like that. Then his eyes opened, and he smiled.

"What the hell?" I murmured. Wendy put his lips on hers, but this time he grabbed her head. I was Pissed.

"You little Pervert!" She yelled and kicked the guys out.

"Wendy I am so sorry about him." I said.

"Thank you." She said.

"Well I'm gonna go punch him the nose. See ya." I said.

"Bye." She said getting back on the chair.

I ran up the guys. "What the hell Squints!" I said.

"What?" He asked.

"You can't do that!" I yelled.

"Why not?" He asked.

"Cause it's disrespectful! You can't do that to a girl. Wendy's not your sex toy!" I yelled. Then I stormed out of there and went home. The nerve of those guys, thinking they can just take advantage of girls like that. It's absolutely absurd.

I went to room, took a shower and changed into sweatpants and a crop top. I was throwing a ball up in the air and catching it.

I heard a clang sound on my window. I opened it and saw Benny.

"Benny! It's 10:00 at night!" I whisper yelled.

"I know, I just wanted to say I'm sorry!" He said.

"Well, I'm still mad at you guys. You can't treat girls like that." I said.

"I know! Squints was out of line." He said.

I rolled my eyes.

"Ugh. Fine I forgive you guys." I said.

"Whew what a relief." He said.

"Okay. Now go home Ben!" I said.

"Alright. See ya later Lans. Love ya." He said. My eyes widened and I blushed.

Benny POV

Did I really just say that?! Shit! I'm such an idiot. I walked home quickly.

I got into my pajamas and tried to sleep, but I kept thinking about my stupid mouth saying stuff it shouldn't.
