A/N: This is probably one of my favorite oneshots that I've ever written. This is gonna be long but I hope you'll read 'til the end. I loved writing this oneshot, hope you'll love reading it as well! ;)

Perrie's POV

Today, my girlfriend and I are going on a vacation to the Island of Mallorca in Spain. I am in such a happy mood since this is the only time that we will get to spend and explore out of the country and without work bothering us. These past few months have been so eventful for us and even at lockdown, we were still quite occupied with work and business meetings that's why I'm so glad and excited that for this week at least, I will have some much needed alone time with my girl.

I have been longing to have more time with Jade these past few months but still, even in quarantine, we were both so busy with the band and our own projects – her Skinny Dip Collection shoot and her Served! show taking up most of her time whilst I am also busy taking in charge of some live and radio interviews even at home and my Supreme Nutrition promo that's why most of the days, we barely have time to just snuggle up in our bed and savor each other's presence.

This vacation is truly a necessity for us to just be with each other and show our inner selves since after this, we will go back to a much more packed and busier schedule due to the release of our new album Confetti. Have you pre-ordered the Confetti album, Mixers?

We have long planned for this outing and since we have such a busy schedule because of the writing process of the new album, the release of our 2 latest singles, the Meerkat Music show, Little Mix The Search and many more content that we are currently shooting and planning, this is the only time that's available for us to go and have fun for a while. Since we've received news that we can finally go travel out of the country, we're making the most out of this precious time before work will exhaust us once more.

After the lockdown, we've been so worked up and it's nice that even for a little while, me and my love can get to unwind since I know how much uncertainty was also caused and tolled up our mental health because of the lockdown but good thing is that we have each other – Jade and I. As long as she's with me, I'm fine.

Speaking of my lovely and adorable girlfriend...

"Perrie, can you please help me carry the rest of the bags, love?", she approached me with a pout and with the look on her face, I know that she just added some more things to her suitcase. She really just packs every essential she thinks we'll both need - even her favorite biscuits and tea. This woman...

"Sure, baba.", I responded to her before giving her a peck in the lips to take away her pout and I told her to rest for a while before we actually prepare for our flight since the airport is just near us as well. I then did the tasked that was assigned to me by my girl – to take all the suitcases down the stairs from our room upstairs. It was actually tiring but I don't mind for as long as my queen is feeling all good and this is for her as well.

When I finished bringing it all down, I went to the living room where Jade is resting in the couch and checking out her phone. I made my presence known by speaking up and getting her attention.

"Baby, you really packed a lot of stuff... You do know we'll only be going for less than a week, eh? They might think we're staying there for good. This is not a getaway, my love.", I said to her, acting tired and teasing her because of it but knowing Jade all these years, she really is like a girl scout. That must've been why she brought all that stuff.

I am still standing beside the couch, looking down at my gorgeous girlfriend who in return, put her phone down and took my hands in hers before pulling me down in the couch with her to snuggle up. Oh, how I love this feeling and in just a few hours, we will get to be more like this but in a paradise.

"You know me, babe. I just want to make sure that we have everything that we might need. Like, what if we suddenly get skin irritation? At least I have the ointment in my bag or what if we go to a place with a lot of people, I got my box of masks and alcohol for us to sanitize... Y'know, just the essentials.", she explained to me while holding me close where I can feel the beat of her heart. I look like I'm a big baby but truly, she is the baby between the two of us. My baby.

I looked up at her before responding to her statement.

"How about the biscuits and bags of tea, Jadey? Are they essential too?", I playfully said and lightly laughed at her antiques while she just rolled her eyes and smiled at what I said.

"It's not just essential, biscuits and teas gives me life, hun.", she replied to me smugly. I admire how in every situation, she still manages it with sass and class even if she gets teased for being such a cute little bean.

We both laughed at what she said and enjoyed some time cuddling before I heard her speaking again.

"Sorry I tired you with that, Pez. I just couldn't take all of those down.", she apologized to me with her baby voice and I swear, she couldn't be any cuter right now.

"Oh, it's more than fine, babe. I really have no problem with you tiring me out to be honest, I really really love it when you tire me out with other exerci-", I babbled out but I was interrupted my sentence when Jade pulled my head even closer to her body frame, muffling my statement out.

"You really are a naughty woman, Edwards.", she told me off seconds after releasing me and I've gained my normal breathing back.

"That's 'cause I have a naughty girlfriend.", I dodged back at her. Two can play the game, bub.

"You didn't mean that, I'm not naughty.", she enunciated, looking offended in her face but this is just the normal us – Jerrie.

"Sure you are..."

After some time, we just relished the feeling of being close to each other before I heard my girlfriend break the silence again.

"But really, Pez. Thank you for organizing this vacation. You really know how to earn my heart more.", she stated lovingly at me.

"Anything for you, bubba. We both needed this and I'd love anything that will make me get to spend more private time with you without any hindrance.", I let out my thoughts to her and smiled sweetly at her.

"And I'm happy that I'll get to spend this special time with you, sweetheart." She then pulled my face towards hers and attached her soft lips to mine, causing a sudden group of butterflies erupting inside my stomach because of this fuzzy feeling that only her can give me every time.

After our moment, we decided to rest for a while since our flight's not gonna take off for another 6 hours and to be honest, I am more than ready to relax in what will be Jade and I's special island of memories soon.

After 6 hours...

This has got to be a fucking joke...

"To all passengers of Flight 2610 bound to Spain, we would like to inform you that due to the unexpected restoration and problem with the plane that you will be boarding in, unfortunately, the airline would have to delay your flight for about 12 hours or more. Sorry for the inconvenience but this is for your safety and we will keep you updated.", I heard the woman's voice in the speakers of the airport and I groaned at frustration and sighed heavily.

Why does this need to happen now?

"Baby... Let's go home for now and wait for the updates. We can't do anything about it.", Jade spoke, attempting to calm me down, seeing the frustration draw in my face.

"But babe! I wanna get there now... Why don't we just take another plane or maybe get a private one?", I complained to her like a baby throwing a tantrum, trying to think of ways to get there faster.

"And we'll get there but for now, we have to understand them, alright, big baby?", she told me and I just nodded at her and we both went home for now.

Back home...

Jade and I decided to call the villa that we will be staying at for the days that we will be in Spain to ask them if we could extend our stay for a day since because of the inconvenience in the airport, we will already be a day short to our voyage.

"Good day, this is the Radley Hotel.", the woman in the front desk received our call.

"Hi. We have a reservation under the name Edwards. We were supposed to arrive there later in the afternoon but we faced some problems in the airport so we will most probably arrive there tomorrow roughly in the morning so we'd like to know if we can extend our stay for a day or two there to make up for the day that we'll miss?", Jade explained to the staff of the hotel, hoping for their positive response.

"Oh, that's very unfortunate to hear Ma'am. I'll go check our bookings now.", she said before disappearing for a while and going back to us minutes after.

"Miss, I'm sorry but we are fully booked for the next few weeks and your room is already booked for the day after your supposed departure from here and we couldn't accommodate or extend your schedule.", she revealed to us and Jade looked at me with sad eyes because of this unfortunate event.

"Alright. Thank you, though. We'll be seeing you tomorrow.", Jade said before ending the call and I sighed once again. We really couldn't do anything about it. This is bad timing.

"It's okay, Pezza. We'll just make the most out of the 4 full days left for us, that's still a lot of time. I know I'll enjoy it as long as you're in my side.", Jade reassured me and at least, that made me feel a little better. She's really the sun to my moon. She's lighting me up...

The next day...

Truly, after more than 12 hours of waiting for any updates from the airlines, they finally told us that it is safe to continue our flight since everything's fixed and well-managed now. The moment Jade and I got that call from the airlines, we immediately drove up to the airport and soon after, our flight went off and now, we are probably in the most beautiful island on Earth... which is made even more breathtaking by the woman with me whose ethereal beauty seems to be unreal.

It's almost night time and we are now in the balcony of our suite which has an extension of the infinity pool that the villa offers. I really wanted to go all out with this vacation that's why I chose this room for my girl and I.

"Stop staring, sweetie...", I heard Jade disrupt my appreciation of her loveliness.

"I'll never stop staring. You're such a lovely sight.", I answered her before walking near to where she is and snapping a picture of her – just in her element.

We took some more photos to post in our social media accounts and all I can say is that I am so blessed to have Jade with me and in my life as my girlfriend – as my everything.

After some time, I was about to sit beside Jade just by the pool when my eyes spotted something – or some people.

How long have they been there?

I felt my breathing started to speed up as I tried to sit down but it just felt like my body fell into a solid material which I didn't even care too much to think. My eyes started to well up and I can feel a sign of a panic attack coming.

"Perrie... Love, what's wrong?", Jade asked me once she noticed the signs of a panic attack that I'm showing off.

"P-paps.",I just breathed heavily and all too quickly, the world around me is blurring.

"Perrie... Listen to me okay, I'm here. Breathe slowly... Let's count 1 to 10 baby, come on... Just focus on your breathing and count slowly.", Jade helped me to calm down and we both did what she told me.

I really feel insecure and uncomfortable whenever paparazzis try to take photos of me on a vacation – specifically when I'm wearing a bikini. I mean... I know I'm a celebrity, my private life's not that private anymore but seeing someone take advantage of my obliviousness and posting pictures without my consent most especially when I'm not comfortable with it is what bothers me the most...

I don't know why I feel like this but it just unsettles me that I'm being papped while wearing a bikini...

Minutes later, I finally gained my normal breathing back but the aftermath of the panic attack is still shown across my face so Jade decided to take me inside the suite and close the doors and the blinds and let me rest for a while. We both decided that it's best for tonight that we just stay inside our suite and order food in the room service. Jade told me that it was also she was still jet lagged from our flight but I know that she did it because of what happened to me.

I just wanted this trip to be the best one but we already lost 2 days of it... I just hope that the next days will be better.

The following day...

Jade and I woke up pretty late in the afternoon here in our hotel and after we woke up, we decided to take a swim in the infinity pool and take more photos. I honestly love being here with her – kissing in the pool, hearing the slapping of waves in the ocean and just sightseeing. I feel better now that I don't see any paps around anymore. I hope it'll stay that way. I just want some alone time with Jade and not anyone else taking pictures of us.

We savored the peace that the sea and water is giving us and we just had fun swimming around and taking more pictures.

Soon after, we decided to finally go to the restaurant just along the beach to eat our late lunch. We walked side by side and holding hands while our feet are touching the white sand beneath us. The wind is hitting our body, causing our hair to fly but all I can care about right now is Jade.

We finally arrived in the restaurant by the beach and we ordered our desired meals. We just chatted while eating and we planned on exploring more of the island and doing some activities that they offer like the banana boat riding, water jet pack and jet skiing.

We were peacefully finishing up our meals until two girls, one in her teenage years and a little girl about 7 years old approached us.

"Hey, Jade and Perrie. We're sorry to interrupt your vacation but we are going home soon and we just saw you. Can we take some pictures, please?", the older girl asked us and was followed by the little one.

"Pwease, pwease, I wove Wittle Mix.", she mumbled in her cute voice and I turned my eyes at Jade for I know that she is already melting at the girl's actions.

She put her utensils down and took the little girl in her lap.

"Sure, darling.", she entertained them and we took some photos with them and as we were focusing with the children, I noticed some of the people around us "Oh, they're celebrities", "The girls from Little Mix!", "What? Jade and Perrie is here?!", and the likes and we didn't even notice it but in a matter of seconds, we are now being swarmed by lots of people.

"Jade! Perrie! Can we please take pictures?", "My idols!", "Girls, can we take a pic?", "Please, Perrie!", "Please, Jade!", "I love Little Mix so much!", are the lines that we're currently hearing from all of these people and there are some unrecognized buzz of noise as well. Jade and I just smiled and mumbled hellos at them at this time and Jade signaled for me to take a look at my phone and she took hers as well.

My girl has a heart of gold and she has such a pure soul to even put other people's happiness first even if we're on vacation.

"Alright, guys, can you please fall in a straight line and we'll give enough time for each of y'all so we could take some pictures and chat for a while.", I announced to them after Jade and I finished messaging each other and they were all quick to oblige.

I don't know how many people we've entertained today but we sure did took lots of photos of them and soon, we found ourselves being asked by the manager of the restaurant to sing some songs on stage and of course, Jade didn't have the heart to say no and we honestly had so much fun interacting with the fans so we accepted their offer and we sang "Almost Is Never Enough", "Lover", "Falling" and "Nobody Like You". We gave them an acoustic night and although the manager insisted on paying us an amount of money for also attracting more customers, we both declined since we did it because we wanted to give back to those people here who have supported us.

After the eventful night, we both went back to the hotel feeling all tired and our bodies worked up because of what happened. This is really our life...

Although I had a good time being with our fans, I am still craving for more personal time with Jade without any disturbance this time and with the 1 and a half day left on our vacation, I hope it'll work out for the both of us...

Last full day of vacation...

What a funny way of 'working out' a vacation.

When we woke up, we quickly prepared ourselves for the activities that we have planned to do for our last day since Jade insisted that the last day should be the best one but as we reached the first station of our activities, we were told by the management that all the guests have been asked to stay in their suites for a while because it has been reported that a storm is coming and they are monitoring the water level since it's not safe to do water activities when there's a rough storm coming.

We didn't thought too much of it at first and enjoyed our full breakfast and lunch buffet with occasionally dipping the pool just until now.

The storm is raging outside and the place turned all cold and black clouds are surrounding all over the place. It is so dark and we can hear the roaring of thunder and lightning is so loud that it is almost deafening. We can even see how the lightning strikes into the ocean.

Jade just sat in our bed while looking at me getting all bothered and down because of the happenings. This trip has been such a failure... We didn't even get much private time that I wanted to. I sighed and decided to close the doors so we wouldn't see the storm pouring anymore and I wouldn't be any more disappointed.

I went to lie in the bed with Jade and there were no words spoken between us, just my thoughts of frustration in this trip are occupying my mind. All of a sudden, I felt Jade stood up and opened the door to probably get what she ordered from the room service that I don't know what is. I can't think of positive thoughts right now most especially that our long anticipated trip just turned out like this. I just groaned at the thought until I saw Jade carelessly opening the door in front our bed and the thunder, lightning and storm coming at my sight again.

"Jade?! What are you doing? Don't open it!", I spoke to her and she just looked at me before getting something in the counter and going back to bed. I wonder what is this about...

Jade's POV

I reached for the bottle of champagne and the glasses that I asked from the room service before returning to my place a while ago.

I popped open the champagne and poured it on both of our glasses while handing Perrie hers.

"Uhm, Jade... This isn't really the time for a celebration.", my wondering girlfriend said and I just ignored her statement while still pouring champagne on her glass.

After that, I took a sip from my glass then put it down on the bedside table before turning to look at Perrie.

I cupped her face with both my hands and leaned in to her to kiss her. We both fell too deeply into our passionate kiss and the sound of the lightning turned like colorful fireworks when our lips touched. Our kiss lasted for some time before we pulled away for air.

"What was that for?", she asked me obliviously, now with a silly smile on her face.

I looked at her and decided to give her the explanation that she wanted.

"You're too worried and frustrated on how this vacation went and I hate seeing you being down because of this because honestly... this is one of the most precious and the best trips that I've ever been to, baby.", I trailed off.

"Really? Even if we didn't get to explore much of the island?", she queried and I nodded and smiled adoringly at her.

"You made it more special, love. Anywhere with you already feels like a holiday to me.", I continued my statement to her and she leaned her forehead into mine and took both her arms to wrap around my petite body.

"You don't have to worry about not doing all of our plans and activities for this time because we can still do it on our other holidays. After all, we still have the rest of our lives to spend together. We can do all that soon, baby. Right now, at this moment, everything is already perfect because you're with me.", I finished my explanation and I melted in her embrace.

"You're the best part of everything in my life, baba. I'm so glad I found you.", she responded to me and I can see the sincerity in her eyes.

"I love you, you know that?"

"And I love you... So much more than most, Jade.", she replied to me and after confessing our love to each other once again, we shared a long and deep kiss once again and now I know that we're both feeling the warmth in our bodies despite of the ongoing storm.

Seconds after, we just snuggled up in the bed. I am resting my head on her shoulder and she is holding me so close while we watched how the lightning falls in the water. This might not how we planned our holiday to go but I am contented with how it went. Witnessing this unfamiliar scene of thunder and lightning with Perrie as odd as it sounds, is a magical experience to me. All I can feel and see is how sparks fly when I'm with her.

She really does make everything and everywhere feel like a Holiday to me...
