David's POV
Its been 4 hours since Amaya was declared missing and Chloe has been crying on and off. I tried to comfort her but I've never been in a situation like this and I have no idea what. to even say. The CPD (california police department if that's what y'all call them idk??) came to ask questions about Amaya. "Ma'am,-" The detective says but Chloe cuts him off. "Chloe, just call me Chloe." and the detective nods. "I'm detective Pond and this my partner, Winchester. Is it okay if we talk to you privately about your sister?" She looks up at me, her eyes are damn near blood shot red, I nod and she walks off with detective Pond, Winchester stays to question me. "So Mr. Dobrik, what can you tell me about Amaya." I take a second to think about things I know which isn't much since they don't really come down often. I just recently started to hang out with Chloe's family after she gained her hearing back. "Um, I know that she's the sweetest little girl I've ever met. And I have no idea who would take her or why. As far as I know Chloe's family they never had any enemies or people they disliked." He nodded, "Who would you say spends most time with Amaya?" he asks, pulling out his little notebook and pen. "Um probably her mother." he looks up at me, "Anyone else that's ever looked after Amaya... You know, not family related?" "I mean I've watched her before. mmm, there was this guy that watched Amaya when their father died. Um, John? Jake? It started with a J, you'd have to ask Chloe." He nods and closes his notepad, "This was useful, do you have a last name?" I shook my head, "I don't even know his first name, let alone his last. I'm sorry." He nods and walks away. Chloe walks back in and before she can even really enter the house, detective Winchester asks her
one last question before leaving. "Chloe, John, Jake? Any of those names ring a bell?" "Jake, what's he have to do with anything?" "What's his last name?" "Gonden." "And who is he to you?" Chloe stopped before continuing. "My ex boyfriend." He nodded and walked out, "Thank you both for you time, Chloe I promise we will do everything we can to find your sister." She looked away and the detective left. She closed her eyes and squeezed them type, and tears started falling again. I walk towards her and hold her. "Please, find her." She whispers.

Chloe's POV (this little part in an optional read its just Chloe answering detective Pond's questions.)
"So Chloe, lets start off with the basics okay? If something gets too personal you can refuse to answer but try your best to answer them. The more information we have the closer we'll be." I nod, "Amaya, how old is she." "She just turned 5 in February." "I've heard that your father has recently passed, is that correct." "Yes." "How did Amaya take that?" "She's young. She doesn't understand death well. She knew we were all very sad and upset and tried her best to comfort everyone." He nodded. "Did your family have anyone who would intentionally hurt them?" I thought carefully before answering this question, "As far to my knowledge no. Not her." He looked up at me, and our eyes met. "Not her. But you? Your mother? Your father?" "N-No. That's not what I meant. Forget I said that." He slowly nodded his head. "Look. If something happened in the past, you can tell us. Chloe you don't have to do it for us. Do it for Amaya." My breathing starts to pick up the pace. "I said it was nothing okay drop it." "Chloe. Do you think while your father was in the hospital... someone may have.... killed him? When you were all away, showering, getting freshened up." Tears start to fall, and I immediately feel week. "Please..." I whisper. He walks me back inside but before I could really walk in detective Winchester asks me about some one named John... or Jake. My heart race picks up again. "And who is he to you?" I stopped before continuing, "My ex boyfriend."
