The most I could remember, was darkness. I could see myself in the darkness, and I couldn't escape. "Chloe!" I turn around and my little sister Amaya, runs to me, and I bend down and open my arms but before she reaches me, she stops. "Amaya, what's wrong?" She's only staring at me. Her hair is up, and she's wearing a tattered jacket. She looks dirty. "I'm hungry Chloe." "Well, lets go find you something to eat." I reach for her hand, and she fades away. Suddenly I'm alone again, in the darkness. "A-Amaya?" I whisper. "You have to run Chloe." I turn around, my mother. "You must take Amaya, and run. You mustn't tell anyone, and leave." "Leave where? Why?" "Too many questions with too little time I'm afraid. Please, protect your sister from them." "Who's them, mother please!" She turns her back on me, and Amaya walks with her. "Wait-" the disappear. Again, I'm alone.

It feels as if hours have gone by, that I spent just sitting. Another voice called me, "Chloe!" I don't bother to look up, "Chloe, oh I'm sorry, I shouldn't have let you go. I told myself you should have stayed home I'm sorry." "Leave me alone." "Chloe please, wake up for me okay, I can't lose you." "I said-" I looked up, and no one was there, I look around and it's still, just me. "Mr. Dobrik, she's deaf, she wouldn't be able to hear you, Im sorry." I feel my heart begin to pick up pace, "David? David! David, can you hear me!" I yell. "Hearing is the last sense to leave the human body, but in her case it would be her sight. All we can do Mr. Dobrik is hope for the best." "Chloe please, please wake up. I won't leave your side until you open your eyes." David cries to the unconscious body. I try to pry my eyes open but the just won't. "David." I whispers under my breath. I take all the power in me I have and my eyes open slowly and not very wide at first. "Chloe, hey, are you okay?" David asks worriedly, with a sensitive tone in his voice, and I nod. That's remarkable." the doctor comments. "Chloe..." I look at David, and in his eyes are shock. "You-You can hear me?" I stop, looking around and look back at David. I can't believe it. "I... hear...you." I start to panicked and I start breathing frantically. "Hey, Miss please calm down, she needs to rest, I'm gonna have to ask you to leave sir." the doctor tells David. "What? No!" David exclaims, "I'm not leaving her side!" "Okay either you leave willingly or I'll call security in here," the doctor says in a stern voice. David looks at him and then at me and slowly begins to walk about he the room but before he could leave my sight completely I try to yell but it comes out weak, "David!" He turns around, "Miss listen, you need to rest, being overwhelmed won't help the situation-" "No...I need him... please. " it was quiet. The doctor gestures David back in the room and he rushes by my side and grabs my hand. I smile at him, and I look back at the doctor. "Why am... I here?" "I don't have the full report on the incident yet, but as far as I know that I can tell you, someone hit your car." "Liza... Kristen. Are... they okay?!" They doctor nods. "Miss Koshy, has a broken arm and Miss Mcatee has scratches, that require stitches. They'll both be fine." I sigh with relief. "But. If you don't mind me asking. How did you come out of that car crash with only a fractured ankle, and a repaired sense?" I shrug, and David begins talking, "Look it's been a long night, her voice is weak. Can't you just give her till tomorrow to try to regain herself from this tragedy." The doctor nods and walks out of the room. I grab David's hand, he grabs mine back with both of his. "David." I sigh out. "Shh, it's okay, you don't need to speak. If you're comfortable we can still sign." he smiles a little to give me a sense of comfort.
I think I just need rest, if that's okay. He smiles and nods. Of course, I'll be right here when you wake up. I close my eyes, and slowly drift off to sleep.
