*3rd person POV*

Mei walked back into the main hallway to see Y/N still sitting next to the door. He was no longer wearing his suit and instead was wearing a strange blue full body skintight garment.

"Where did your suit go?" She asked.

"Nowhere, I still have it." He replied while rematerializing his suit.

"Woah, is the suit nanomachines or something?" She said amazed.

"No, nanomachines are a crude human invention, the suit is ingrained into my system." He replies.

"Okay, well, you can't wear THAT into town, so, put this on." She says while throwing him blue button up shirt and a pair of jeans.

Picking up the clothes he squirmed his way into the jeans and barely fit into the shirt. The shirt in particular barely fit him, but he was able to make it work.

"Alright, it'll have to do, come on friend." She says joyfully as she walks out the door.

"We are not friends." He replies following her.

*Timeskip brought to you by chibi Y/N and Mei walking around the city*

The two had walked all around the city, and Mei had spent the better part of the afternoon trying to explain all of the oddities of the world to her new 'friend'.

"Who are those men down there?" He asks pointing to a field behind a chain-link fence.

"Oh them, they're athletes, training." She looks closer and sees the jerseys, "Oh! It's the Shizouka Sailfish!" She adds suddenly star struck.

"Who?" Y/N asks.

"A baseball team, I think they were champions last season." She replies.

Looking down they see a man throw the ball from his place on a mound to a cage structure which rested behind a white pentagon shape

"They're playing Sar Olir." He says slightly excited.

"No, they're playing baseball." She replies confused.

"Is that what humans call it?" He says to himself, "Well, they're not good enough."

"What do you mean? Those guys are champions!" She replies.

Y/N just scoffs dismissing her as he walks down towards their field.

"Hey, wait where are you going." She says panicked and running after him.

"Over there." He says pointing to the

"What for?" She asks.

"To teach them how to throw the ball." He replies.

"No, you've gotta stay here, you can't butt in there." She shouts.

"They wouldn't like me to instruct them?" He asks confused.

"That fields only for the team, no outsiders are allowed." She says getting in front of him.

"I am sure they'll make an exception." He says pushing her gently aside.

Facepalming she steps aside making no further attempt to stop him. Sitting back down on a bench she can see her 'friend' stroll all the way up to the pitchers mound where the coach and pitcher were having a chat.

"Great job, but you don't have to go full blast in practice." The coach said to his pitcher.

"Alright, I'll keep that in mind." He replies.

"Just trying to keep that golden arm of yours healthy." The coach says while putting his arm on his shoulder.

Just as the coach was about to walk away from the mound Y/N appeared seemingly out of nowhere and picked up a ball from the ground.

"Hey, put that ball back, you don't have any business out here." The coach yells.

"This man does not throw it fast enough." Y/N replies pointing to the pitcher.

"You don't say." He says astonished.

"I do say." Y/N replies.

"I'll have you know that Fuji here is a record holder." He replies.

"Then he should be better." Y/N shoots back.

"I suppose you think you can throw better?" He asks

"I once taught some of the Mawkin on ZDR how to do it, they profited greatly by my instruction." Y/N states.

"Alright, now you're talking nonsense, ZDR? Mawkin? Get off my fie-" He starts before he's cut off by Fuji.

"Hey, let's not be rash, let him show us Tanaka, maybe we could learn something." Fuji proposes.

Tanaka looks to his star pitcher, to Y/N, and finally back to Fuji.

"Alright, I suppose it wouldn't hurt, Go ahead, show us." Tanaka says before both of them step back from the mound.

"Thank you." Y/N says as he takes his place on the mound.

Looking down the lane he grabbed his bearings and looked to the cage. Imagining the box right above the white pentagon Y/N took the windup and fired the ball down the lane.

A machine not too far behind home spit out the number "218" and everyone on the field look in awe at the newcomer.

"218 kilometers per hour." The coach mutters under his breath, "Alright rookie, impressive quirk, but how can you do without it?"

"Quirk?" Y/N asks.

"Yeah, nobody can possibly throw that fast unaided." The coach replies.

"Um, apparently he can." The ball boy says from behind a machine.

Everybody quickly looks over to him with suspicious looks.

"The quirk suppressor was on, he couldn't use his quirk if he wanted to." He says showing the machine to the rest of them.

Just as he said, it was switched on and all eyes were then once again back on 'the rookie'.

"Well then rookie, think you can do it again." Tanaka says handing him another ball.

"Certainly." Y/N responds taking the ball.

Once again he winds up and fires the ball down right over home plate.

Everyone looked in awe as the ball burned its way past and the machine read "294"

"Wow" Fuji says looking at the machine.

"Well hot damn." Somebody said from a bench.

Everybody looked up to the stands to see an unassuming man in a sailfish shirt.

"Aki what are you doing here?" The coach shouts up.

"I wouldn't be a good manager if I didn't check up on my team practices." Aki replies, "You've caught a good one here."

"You mean him?" Tanaka asks pointing to Y/N.

"Yeah, Cannon arm." Aki says walking over to the mystery man on the mound.

"Oh, um, well," Tanaka says stumbling over his words before Aki cuts him off.

"What's your name son?" Aki says offering his hand to shake.

"Y/N." He replies.

"Well, Y/N, tryouts were over months ago, but, I'll make an exception, let's see what you can do, this time on the books." Aki says pulling out notebook. "Tanaka, the norm."

"Yes sir." He says as he gestures to the crews set up.

*Small Timeskip brought to you by Y/N in a Pittsburgh Pirates Jersey*

Y/N and Mei were sat down on a bench just outside of the training field and as Y/N stretched himself out she was sweating bullets.

"Are you actually going to do it?" Mei asks.

"Why wouldn't I?" He asks.

"I-I don't know, go and get them!" She says chipping up.

"Y/N, you're up." The coach yells.

"You're up." She says gesturing for him to run in.

He nods before running back onto the field and going to the coach.

"Alright rookie, you've got a golden arm, but can you hit?" He asks.

"Yes I can," Y/N replies.

"Alright, let's see it." He says handing him the bat.

Walking over to home plate he looks down at the mound and sees Fuji. He takes up his stance and Fuji winds up and throws the ball down the lane, and just as the ball flames towards home plate he takes a swing and cracks it over the fences.

The machine by home spit out "161" but everyone was too caught up in the home run to care.

"Alright, let's see if it was a fluke." Tanaka says gesturing to Fuji.

Shaking off the hit Fuji winds up again and throws a nasty curveball. Telegraphing the throw Y/N adjusts his stance and takes a swing at it and just like last time he cracks it over the fences. The machine spits out "142" however once again everyone was watching the ball rather than the machine.

The batting practice went on for a lot longer. Each ball in the strike zone was either sent over the fences or deep into the outfield and, thanks to his superhuman reflexes and processing, he didn't swing at a single ball outside of the strike zone.

The day went on, and he was tried out at every single position; he was able to throw from left field to home and didn't miss a single ball when he was in the outfield, miss any line drives at shortstop, have a single pitch under 190km/h on the mound, or drop a single pass at 1st base and he did all of this with the flare you'd expect a Chozo superstar to have.

"Say Y/N, how'd you like to play for the Sailfish?" Aki asks.

"Me?" Y/N responds perking up his eyebrows.

"Yeah, you, tell you what, you can play any position you want, and I'll give you a 950,000,000 4 year contract with a 300,000,000 signing bonus." Aki says writing down something on a piece of paper.

Y/N thinks it over in his head, he remembers hearing about the Pro Chozo Sar Olir teams of eons in the past and had a childhood dream to play on one of them. Of course by the time he was around the teams members had either died or aged. He would play in the simulators on Zebes, and would pester any of the remaining Chozo who played for tips and tricks. Noticing him phasing out Aki taps him on the shoulder.

"So, what'll be?" Aki asks.

"I'll keep your offer in mind." Y/N replies.

"Well, we'll always have a spot for you, here." Aki says handing him the piece of paper.

The paper had some numbers and the name 'Takahashi Aki' and 'Tanaka Hip' scribbled on it.

"Well, see you later then." Y/N says

The two bow and Y/N walks off the field to meet back up with Mei and the two walk back to her lab.

"Are you sure your planet wasn't where Babe Ruth came from?" She asks.

"I'm very sure." He replies not picking up on the sarcasm.
