Y/N POV

Me, Old Bird, and Gray Voice were all in our cramped spaceship flying back from K2-L. It had only been a couple hours when I looked over to the communicator to see that an emergency code to the Federation Police had been sent out.

Y/N: "Old Bird, Gray, a Federation Emergency code was just sent out, origin is K2-L." I said to them with concern in my voice.

Old Bird walked over to see my monitor and saw that an Emergency code was indeed just sent from K2-L.

Old Bird: "Gray, set us back on a course to K2-L," He said to him.

Gray Voice: "Yes sir, setting a course to K2-L." He replied while typing some things in on the computer.

It didn't take long, but from what we saw once landed it was already to late. Only hours before this place was a thriving city full of people, but now it was ash and torn down metal.

Old Bird: "Aah, how Terrible." He said with sadness in his voice.

Gray Voice: "The emergency code to the federation police, I know it was sent from K2L, but I never thought it would be this bad." He said looking around

Old Bird: "everything's been destroyed." He said picking up a piece of metal.

Gray Voice: "Not even one survivor, complete annihilation, It's probably the work of the space pirates." He said in disbelief of the site in front of him.

I walked around until I felt a stepped on a piece of metal and looked down. On it was an unmistakable decal.

Y/N: "It was certainly a Space Pirate attack, look at this." I say as I hold up the decal.

Gray Voice: "I see, they're methods are brutal, and they take great care to never leave survivors." He said somberly.

We were just about to make our way back onto the ship when we heard a child crying.

Samus: "Mama?... Papa?"

We all look towards the voice and see Samus still alive.

Old Bird: "Th-That's... Oh I don't believe it." He says with pure disbelief.

I'm pretty surprised too

Samus: "Tori Oji-chan?" She asks between tears.

Old Bird/Gray Voice/Y/N: "Samus" we all say in shock.

She was walking toward us, but behind her I saw something flying?

Y/N: "SAMUS LOOK OUT." I yelled to her just in time as she was able to look behind her and duck before the thing struck her.

I started running towards the thing while ripping off my robe and my power suit materialized onto me.

???: "What are you? The tin man?" The creature says almost laughing to itself.

What even is tin, one of those human things I suppose.

I don't even dignify the creature with a response and I instead fire a missile square into it's chest. It hits hard and the thing recoils in pain and lets out an ear-piercing screech. While It's stunned I take the opportunity to shoot a missile into his mouth. It also hits clean on and whatever it is seems dead.

Y/N: "let's get out of here before his friends show up." I say annoyed.

All four of us get onto the ship and set a course for Zebes.

After the space Pirate raid we brought the final remaining survivor on the attack of K2-L back here to Zebes. Old Bird and Gray Voice went to their chambers while I follow Samus around the place trying to make sure she is okay, and somehow I have lost track of her.

Y/N: "Samus, where are you." I yell out into the place.

I see a door close and I run after her.

Y/N: "Samus, please, don't leave me again" I say before looking up and seeing Gray, Old Bird, and Samus in the room

Samus: "Oji san, there aren't any kids here, where are my friends." She says with tears in her eyes.

Suddenly the mother brain probe switched directions and violently started speeding toward her only stopping inches in front of her face.

Y/N: "It's okay Samus, that thing won't harm you, it's just the computer that oversees the planet." I say to her.

This did little to console her as the probe got even closer to her.

Mother Brain: "As expected, this weak creature is incapable of living in Zebes' harsh environment. I do not expect her to last more than a few days." The probe spat out robotically.

Calm down Mother Brain, she's just a kid

Old Bird: "Ah no It's fine now Mother. Yes. We have no choice but to keep her here." He said.

Y/N: "If I may speak, you can easily replicate the process you did with me, integrate her DNA with the Chozos. It's already worked once, because as you can see, I'm still alive."

And so that's just what they did, they integrated her DNA with Gray Voice just like me. I was promoted to older brother, and also tasked with training her with the power suit when the time came.
