3rd Person POV

Y/N: "We are now approaching K2-L"  Y/N said looking down at the star chart.

Old Bird: "Good, however I must remind you, the people here do not speak our language. So I'd recommend you use that English you've been practicing." Old Bird said

Y/N: "O-okay, I'll try" He replied shakily

Gray Voice: "Excellent work my boy, either way beside that, we're breaking the atmosphere in 5 seconds." He replied.

All three of them got ready for impact and took their seats.

Eventually, despite Gray's shaky piloting nearly getting them burnt up at over 12,000 kelvin, they were miraculously able to make a soft landing at the colony.

Y/N POV

All three of us landed down onto the platform, and our arrival has not gone unnoticed. A quick glance around the crowd yielded many results. Some where scared, some where confused, and others were curious. Looking around I just tuned out the conversation that Gray was having for a while.

???: "Ah, sorry coming through." a raspy voice yelled out through the crowd

I looked forward and saw a man who had some blonde hair and stubble, but otherwise just looked like another worker.

??? 2:"Chief Aran, that's..." One of the workers said before being cut off by Chief Aran

Chief Aran: "Hey what's going on." He said to the worker, but he quickly paused and looked at the three of us."

He walked to Gray and told him about the galactic pact and stuff. 

Gah, we should've known this would be fruitless.

 I was quickly pulled out of my thoughts by the sounds of a child.

Child 1: "Ahahaha! Wait up Samus!" One of the children said.

Samus: "I'm not about to lose to you!" The one named Samus said.

Just as she said I looked over to see that Samus bumped into old bird and promptly made his hood fall down revealing his head. Saying she looked shocked would be putting it lightly, but then again Chozos probably aren't something you see every day here.

Chief Aran: "Samus no! You're not allowed here." He yelled out.

Old Bird: "My My, what an energetic one, Are you hurt?" He said smiling.

Samus: "Ah... No..." She replied shakily.

Y/N: "I think this is her first time meeting a Chozo." I said to him.

Old Bird: "ah, it appears so." He said and then looked back to Samus, "There's nothing to fear, We look different, but inside we have the same 'heart' that you do, so be at ease." He said trying to console the girl.

Just like he told me

Old Bird: "Would you like to be friends, I am called 'Old Bird' but you can call me me Tori Oji-chan."

(A/N that translates to Bird Uncle in japanese, which I find adorable)

Samus: "I'm Samus Aran, 3 years old." She says with a smile brighter than the sun, "And sure." She says.

The small girl then grips Old Bird's arm and starts dragging him away.

Samus: "Ne Ne, come here," She said

Old Bird: "Eh?" He said confused

Samus: "I need some help." She replied

Old Bird: "Ah, Very well." he said while being dragged away

Chief Aran: "Ah, Samus wait!" he yelled to her

She proceeds to drag him farther away 

Gray Voice: "Ah, Old Bird-Sama!?" He said concerned

Old Bird: "Ah sorry gray voice, you and Y/N please continue the negotiations." He said in a hurry.

Me and Gray look at each other, shrugged, and decide to take off our robes. Looking back at the crowd they're shocked to not see another Chozo, but a human boy around 14 years old with (H/L) (H/C) hair with 2 (E/C) eyes. There was murmuring amongst the crowd, but I decided to ignore it and help Gray continue the negotiations

Chief Aran: "That Girl is gonna be the death of me." He said jokingly while looking the direction they departed.

After way too long of back in forth between the chief and Gray about Federation treaties and protocols me and him were unable to find any loopholes which allowed us the Afloratite. Soon Me, Old Bird, and Gray Voice were in front of our ship preparing to get on.

Chief Aran: "We have great respect for the Chozo, however that has no bearing on this matter. I don't understand why you need it so badly, and I must know before I give it to you." He said rather bluntly.

We're trying to stop a parasite from destroying intergalactic civilization

Old Bird: "I understand that the Federation has left this very important task in your hands, I most humbly apologize for troubling you, I ask that you please forgive our rudeness." Old Bird says with great sincerity. 

Samus: "You're going already? But we just started becoming friends." She said with tears in her eyes.

I look over to her and kneel down to her level and see she has some kind of animal with  her as well. 

Y/N: "Yes, we're going, I'm afraid we have a very important job to do. I'm sure Old Bird here won't forget you, we'll be back sooner than you'll know it I promise, and a Chozo never breaks a promise." I say to her, and with this her tears start to die down.

I ruffled her hair before following Old Bird and Gray Voice back onto the ship. I look at the fuel supply and see we have more than enough to make it back to Zebes.

Gray Voice: "we Knew it wouldn't work, but we don't have nearly enough energy without the afloratite." He stated obviously annoyed.

Old Bird: "Yes... And we must rush the plans as well." He paused, "We must not allow Metroid to be left unawakened."
