Oobleck's class seemed to go on forever. Jess could barely keep up with the extremely hyper teacher, because whenever he took a sip of his coffee, he darted about faster around the classroom.

"As I was saying, faunus are usually treated differently to  humans-" The bell rang indicating that class was over. Jess sighed. She barely could understand him.

"Miss Ciane and Miss Zugaikotsu. I must talk to you for a few moments."

"You guys go on." Jess said. "I'll catch up." Blythe, Ube and Loki all nodded and left.

Now only Jess and Zara remained. "Iwantedtotalktoyouaboutthefightthatbrokeoutinthecafeteria." Oobleck said so quickly Jess could only catch the last word he said.

"Whoa, whoa. Slow down sir!" Zara said.

Oobleck sighed. "I wanted to talk to you about the fight that broke out in the cafeteria." Oobleck said, slowing down. "This morning." He added.

Zara's tone of voice suddenly changed. "Professor Oobleck, sir! Jess and her gang were being mean!"

Oobleck took one glance at Jess, and shook his head. "Dear child, I think you are mistaken. You were the one being mean there. I happened to be walking past the cafeteria at the time."

Zara glared at Jess, who tried to avoid making eye contact with her. She didn't want to be wrapped in bandages for the rest of the month.

Zara placed her hands on her hips. "Well, thanks to Jess's boyfriend-" "H-He's not my boyfriend!" "THANKS TO JESS'S BOYFRIEND, I MIGHT HAVE A BROKEN NOSE!!!"

Oobleck sighed. "I will speak to Oliver. But Zara, if I catch you teasing Jess and her teammates one more time, I will send you to Glynda Goodwitch right away. Whether you get sent back home will be decided on how violent you have been. Good day to both of you." Oobleck took one last sip of his coffee, and motioned for the two to leave.

Zara glared at Jess once again, before stomping away to join the rest of Team ZOMP.

"What was that all about?" Loki asked, folding her arms.

"Oh, just about what happened in the cafeteria this morning." Jess replied.

"Those four are pure evil." Blythe said in a worried sort of tone. "I wouldn't be surprised if they turn out to be part of Salem's faction?"

"Salem's faction? Pffffttt!" Ube burst out laughing.

"It's not funny!" Blythe said. "Salem is evil, and her faction is already big enough to destroy the whole of Beacon again along with every single living person in vale!"

"I-It was scary when Vale was attacked. My family nearly died." Jess said sadly.

"I know." Loki said. "I lost my mother thanks to Salem."

"LESS WORRYING MORE SMILING!!!" Ube yelled.

"Ube does have a point." Jess admitted. "It's best if we don't think about it."

It was raining that afternoon. Outside was covered in a thick mist, and the clouds had turned into a dark grey color. Jess sat in the centre of the dorm playing video games with Ube, while Loki sat in corner, writing on a piece of paper.

"Whatcha doing Loki?" Jess asked, looking up from the screen for once.

"Just writing some lyrics for my next song." Loki replied. "Nothing special."

"JESS!!! YOU'RE GOING TO LOSE!!!" Ube yelled.

Jess laughed and continued playing the game. 

Blythe walked in with a letter in her hand. "Jess, there's someone who wants to see you out there." She said, sitting down on her bed and opening the letter.

Jess nodded. "I'll be back in a few minutes Ube." She said.

"Alright!" Ube said. "I can wait!"

Jess opened the door, and her eyes widened. "Lilly!"

"Hi Jess!" Lilly smiled. "How are you?!"

"I'm fine thanks!" Jess said, and hugged Lilly. "I didn't know you were here!"

"Yeah, I just came back from Haven." Lilly said.

"Cool! How is it at Haven?!" Jess asked.

"It's awesome!" Lilly replied. "Professor Lionheart is really nice."

"Awesome! How's it going with being Team leader?"

"It's pretty cool! Oh, I know! I'll introduce you to my team!" Lilly said, stepping aside. "Hey guys, this is Jess. She's one of my best friends!"

Jess smiled. "Hi!"

"Jess, this is Rj." Lilly said.

"Hey there!" Rj smiled.

"That's Hazel."

"Hello! It's nice to meet you!" Hazel said.

"And this is Aracel."

"Hi there. Nice to meet you." Aracel said.

"It's nice to meet you too Aracel." Jess said while smiling.

"Lilly was really excited to see you." Rj said.

"She insisted that we came here first." Hazel added.

"Apparently you're team leader." Aracel smiled.

Jess nodded. "Yeah, actually I am."

"That's great Jess!" Lilly said.

"I'll introduce all of you to them." Jess smiled, and let Team LAHR inside.

"Guys, this is Lilly, Aracel, Hazel and Rj."

Ube immediately sprang to her feet. "HI! I'M UBE! NICE TO MEET YOU!" She yelled.

"Ugh. Ube, calm down!" Loki called from the side of the room. 

"That's Loki." Jess said.

Loki looked up and waved at Team LAHR.

"And that's Blythe."

Blythe smiled. "Hello there."

"It's great to meet you all." Lilly said.

Rj and Aracel nodded and Hazel smiled.

"Yeah, it's great to see all of you as well!" Jess grinned.

Loki checked her watch. "Shit! Guys, we're going to miss our next lesson!" Jess jumped. "Oh god! Sorry guys!"

"It's fine." Aracel said.

"Yeah, we'll see  you another time!" Rj said.

"Goodbye." Hazel smiled.

Team JBLU ran down the corridor. "WE'RE LATE! WE'RE LATE! WE'RE LATE!!!" Jess yelled.

Team OCEN poked their heads out of the door, and then sprinted down the corridor as well. "PROFESSOR PORT WILL KILL US!!!" Cooper yelled.

Lilly smiled. "I'll see you at lunch!"

"Hey, Lilly. Doesn't Jess look a little bit too young to be here?"

"She must have gotten accepted to Beacon early Rj. It's nothing to worry about."

"J-Jet! Run! Please, Jet! You need to run! Run otherwise Salem will find you!!!"

"NO! MIDNIGHT! I CAN'T RUN! I WON'T LEAVE YOU!!!!"

"JET! DO IT FOR ME!"

"NO! MIDNIGHT!!!!" Jet woke up shouting. He rubbed his eyes, and got to his feet. Another bad dream about his sister.

He grabbed his handgun off his bedside table, and sighed. He had saved a young girl with red hair in the emerald forest. What was he thinking? He was forbidden from Beacon and the emerald Forest.

He loaded his handgun. "Midnight, I will find you." He whispered. "Even if it is the last thing I do!"
