-One month-
Zayn
"I want presents." Morello pouted.

"It isn't your birthday." I told her as I drove to Liam and Louis'.

Harry was holding the present we bought for the twins, which were two shirts, one of them saying thing one, the other saying thing two.

I thought it was a cute idea, but Harry didn't understand it.

Plus, today I learned that he didn't like the colour red.

"Daddy Milo looks like he's about to cry. His pacifier fell out." Morello informed us.

"Put it back in, babe." I said, hearing Milo start to whine.

"What's Miko doing?" I asked.

"He's looking a Milo. Now he's looking at his feet. He's okay." Morello said.

"Good." I smiled.

The twins were already four months old, and Morello would be six this year.

The more I thought about their ages, the more I realized how quickly time went by.

"Beautiful, explain." Harry said, pointing to someone who had been pulled over by a policeman.

"Well....they did something wrong. Maybe they were driving too fast, or ran a red light." I shrugged.

"But why does that vehicle have lights and yours doesn't?" He asked.

"Because I'm not a police officer. Usually only emergency or official vehicles have those." I said.

"Make yours official. Harry likes the lights." He said.

"I can't." I chuckled.

He pouted just like Morello, sinking down in his seat.

"Daddy, I'm hungry." Morello complained.

"You're always hungry." I said, fearing what it would be like when she and the twins were teenagers.

"But I'm really hungry now. Want fries." She whined.

"There'll be cake at the party." I told her.

She was quiet for a moment.

"Can I have a big piece? Like bigger than my hand?" Morello asked.

"You'll get whatever I give you." I said.

"I'll get whatever I want." I heard her mumble.

I would've said something to her, but she was right.

After we arrived at Liam and Louis', we discovered that we were the last ones to get there.

"Ah, there they are. Let's cut the cake." Louis said, picking Luna up and carrying her into the kitchen.

Liam followed, carrying James.

The kitchen was decorated with pink and blue streamers, hung nicely along the edge of the ceiling.

"I like this. Can I keep one?" Harry asked, reaching for a streamer.

"Stop it." I whispered, tapping his arm.

He frowned at me. "Ouch, beautiful."

Harry reached out and pinched my arm, looking satisfied afterwards.

"Quit it, now." I warned, giving him a look.

He pulled me into a hug, forcing my face into his chest.

"Shut up now, beautiful. You shush." He said, patting my head.

"Let me go!" I chuckled, pushing away.

But he pulled me back, keeping his arm around my shoulders.

Louis and Liam put the twins in their highchairs, putting a slice of cake with one candle in it in front of both of them.

"We get to sing now, right?" Morello asked excitedly.

"Yeah." I smiled at her before we all began to sing happy birthday to the twins.

When we finished, the twins were given an opportunity to blow the candles out themselves.

James simply started eating his cake, the candle falling over and going out on it's own.

However, Luna stared at her candle.

And after just a few seconds of staring, the flame suddenly went out.

She grabbed a fistful of cake and brought it to her mouth, not seeming to have a care in the world.

"Anybody else notice-"

"Drop it." Louis interrupted Liam, giving him a look before glancing at the rest of us.

Edward and Cara chuckled, while Niall looked alarmed and Marcel smiled.

Harry was too busy looking up at the streamers, and I suddenly noticed that I could hear the twins crying.

"Harry, the babies." I said, nudging him.

"They need to be fed." I realized.

"Okay." Harry smiled, kissing my cheek and walking off into the lounge.

"Champagne anyone?" Louis asked after popping open the bottle.

"Zayn, mind helping me serve these?" He asked, since Liam was busy talking to James and Luna.

I glanced at Louis as I picked up two glasses, noticing that he seemed a little upset.

"What's wrong?" I asked quietly.

"I thought Luna wouldn't have powers. This worries me." He said, looking at me.

"Hey, it's basically a natural thing for them. Sort of like teething. There might be a few accidents here and there, but don't worry yourself to death over it, yeah? Everything will work out." I tried to assure him.

"I'll try not to." He sighed, not seeming too convinced.

"Just have a few drinks. You'll feel better." I smiled.

"Take these." Louis chuckled, handing me two glasses.

"Sure." I said, taking the glasses over to Cara and Marcel, who were sitting at the kitchen table chatting.

"Thank you, I love this liquid. The colour is so beautiful." Cara said, looking into her glass.

Marcel took a glass as well, watching Cara before cautiously taking a sip.

He didn't seem to like it, but when he saw that Cara did, he kept drinking.

I went and got two more glasses, walking over to Niall and Edward.

"Here you are." I said, handing the drinks to them.

"Oh, none for me, thanks." Niall rejected politely.

I glanced back at Louis. "C'mon Niall, Louis seems a little stressed out. Just have a little?"

"I can't." He smiled, lifting one of his hands and rubbing his stomach.

"Oh." I said, slowly smiling as well.

"How far along?" I asked.

"Almost a month." Niall blushed.

"Yeah." Edward smiled proudly, looking down at Niall like he was his only reason to be alive.

"Well, more for me." I shrugged after Edward took a glass.

So, three glasses of champagne later, I was on the sofa leaning against Harry and watching Morello play with James and Luna.

Marcel and Cara were each holding one of our twins, sitting close to each other and speaking softly, gazing down at the babies who were thankfully sleeping peacefully.

Occasionally Marcel would give Cara a fond look, and Cara would do the same to him when he wasn't looking.

Liam and Louis were on the other end of the sofa together watching T.V., while Edward was sitting in the armchair with Niall in his lap doing the same.

"You are intoxicated." Harry commented, smelling my breath and wrinkling his nose.

"Am not." I grinned, just slightly tipsy.

"Are you lonely?" He asked.

I frowned. "Lonely?"

"Yes. When Harry first came you seemed alone inside. And outside. Even though you experienced human contact. I don't want you to be alone inside beautiful. You have me, and our small beautifuls." He said.

I turned and smiled at him. "I haven't been alone inside since I met you, Harry. All you've brought me is happiness. Well...mostly happiness and occasional frustration."

"The point is....I love you, and our family. I'm happy that you chose me out of all the other humans on this planet." I said.

"Because you're the most beautiful." He smiled at me.

"I love you." I smiled before I kissed him.

"I love you too, beautiful. Can I have one of those paper ribbons now?" He asked after our lips parted.

I looked into those big green eyes, unable to hide my grin.

"Fine." I laughed, pushing away from him as he quickly got up and rushed off into the kitchen.

"What's wrong with your alien?" Louis asked, looking over at me.

I looked over and could see Harry's shadow from the kitchen on the floor, watching him twirl the streamer and dance around with it, entertaining himself.

I looked at Morello, and then my sons, smiling to myself before looking back at Louis.

"Nothing at all."

A/N: Anyone up for a short peek into the future in the form of an epilogue? (In third person, by the way.) Inform me, please. Also, I'm going to publish the character answers sooner than I said at first, mainly because they're all done and just sitting around :)
