-Saturday morning-
Zayn
"I need a job." I sighed to Louis as we sat together on the sofa.

"Why? Seems to me that you've got it made." He scoffed.

I held my coffee closer, letting it warm me up.

"I love Harry and Morello, and as much as I'd love to be a stay at home dad, my savings won't last forever." I said.

"Make Harry get a job." Louis suggested.

I frowned at him. "He's an alien...he can't get a job."

"Yes he can. One of those...simple ones that don't require a lot of paperwork but still pay well. Under the table type jobs." Louis said.

"And where would he get one of those?" I asked skeptically.

"Well, one of the guys that used to come into the club owns a restaurant. His head chef isn't even a proper citizen." He told me.

"And you say Harry's a good cook, right? And that he can reach into fire without getting burned? He'd be perfect." Louis said.

"I don't know if he would want a job, though. He loves being here with me and Morello." I said, biting my lip.

"Well, run it by him. I have the guys number, I've done...many favours for him so he owes me." He said.

"Okay, thanks." I said quietly, watching Morello come shuffling into the lounge.

"Morning babe." I smiled at her.

"Cartoons, daddy." She said, getting the remote and turning the TV on.

"Come here and let me fix your hair." I said.

"Wait." She said, turning the channel to find the cartoons she liked.

Louis chuckled. "You have no authority."

"Yes I do." I said, not meaning to sound so childish.

"Morello, I told you to come here." I repeated.

"I know." She said, not paying me any mind until she found the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Then, she walked over to me. "Can I has a braid, daddy?"

"One or two?" I asked, moving her hair away from her face.

"One." She answered.

"Alright. Sit with Lou, I'll be right back." I said before I got up and went to get her brush and a hair tie.

When I returned, I sat on the couch and had her stand in front of me while I brushed her hair.

"Daddy?" She asked.

"Hm?" I hummed.

"How long until my birthday?"

"Let's see..." I trailed off as if I didn't know the date by heart.

"You've got a month, babe." I told her.

"Can I has a sword for my birthday?" She asked.

"A sword?" I frowned, French braiding her hair.

"Yeah, that one." She said, pointing to the TV.

I looked, seeing an advertisement for a Power Rangers Turbo sword.

"We'll see." I smiled, finishing her braid and putting the hair tie on the end.

"Hey, there's um, something I wanted to run by you." Louis spoke up.

"Yeah?" I asked, looking at him.

"I'm going out for coffee later today with Liam. That doesn't....bother you, does it?" He asked.

"No, I don't have feelings for him anymore. But...do you? How'd all of this come about?" I asked.

"He's the guy I was talking to online. Found out last week." Louis said.

"Really?" I chuckled.

He nodded.

"So...d'you have feelings for him?" I asked, watching him look at the TV.

"Not really." He replied.

"Are you sure?" I smiled.

"Not really." He repeated, fighting back a smile.

"It's just different now. After what we talked about online it's just....I feel differently about him than I did before." Louis explained.

"I see." I smiled at him.

Harry came into the lounge, wearing just a pair of boxers.

His hair was messy, and he still looked sleepy.

"Daddy I can see your underwear." Morello giggled.

He patted her head as he shuffled by, walking over and climbing into my lap.

"Harry," I grunted, wondering why he did this.

He knew he was too big, even though he always curled into himself, thinking that made him fit.

He rested his head on my shoulder, sighing.

"Something wrong?" I asked, trying to breathe properly.

"Sad." Harry mumbled.

"What's wrong, daddy?" Morello frowned, walking over to us.

"D'you want go get a job?" I asked him, glancing at Louis.

"Job?" He repeated.

"Yeah, you can go and cook for people. Would you like that?" I asked.

"Would that make you happy? Making food for humans? And you'll get paid, which means we get to keep our house and buy things." I explained.

"Okay." He said, lifting his head and smiling a little.

"I'll call and have an interview scheduled for him. You'll take him, of course." Louis told me.

"And you'll watch Morello." I said.

"No, I wanna come too." She whined.

"It'll be boring, sweetheart." I said.

"I'm coming, aren't I daddy?" She asked Harry.

He looked at me.

"Fine." I sighed.

-Later-
Louis
"Is that actually coffee?" Liam asked as I drank the drink I ordered.

It was more of a chocolate and caramel milkshake type of drink, with a twist of coffee and white chocolate foam, topped with whipped cream.

"Dunno but it's perfect." I mumbled.

He chuckled, shaking his head.

"I see you're drinking your coffee black. Is that a cop thing?" I smirked.

"No, it's a Liam thing. I started it, you know. Then everyone started copying me." He said.

"Okay." I chuckled.

"Have I broken the rules? We came out to get coffee but I'm not having coffee." I smiled.

"You sort of have. How rude." Liam said.

"Arrest me." I said, looking into his eyes.

"No, I think I'll let you off the hook this time." He said.

"Why?" I asked softly.

"You're six months pregnant with twins." He said.

"Oh, I forgot." I said sarcastically.

"I think you should name one of them Liam." He mumbled, glancing at me over the rim of his coffee cup with those big brown eyes.

"One of them." I scoffed.

"Yeah, I think I'll name my daughter Liam." I chuckled.

"Well, give it a feminine twist." He shrugged.

"Liamella?" I asked.

He chuckled. "That's lovely."

"Or, maybe you could call her Jamie. My middle name is James." Liam suggested.

"Why has it suddenly been decided that I'm naming one of my children after you?" I asked.

"Because.....I'm going to help you take care of them. You know, for a while, after they're born. Or...maybe until they're like, fifteen." Liam shrugged again.

I chuckled. "I sort of like Jamie though, honestly."

"Yeah? And what about the boy?" Liam asked.

"I'll call him...boy." I shrugged casually.

"Jamie and boy. Sounds perfect." Liam nodded.

"I agree." I said, feeling fat and happy after I finished my drink.

"D'you want me to take you home now? Or...back to Zayn and Harry's?" Liam asked.

"Suppose so. Or we could just....stay out forever. I don't get out much anymore, I miss it." I admitted.

"Oh, alright. We'll go somewhere else, then." He smiled.

"Where?" I asked.

"Dunno, I'll drive around until we figure it out." Liam said, getting up.

After we left the cafe, Liam and I drove around, simply chatting and sight seeing.

When he finally brought me back to Zayn and Harry's, I decided to make him an offer.

"Hey, um, if you want to...come stay before the babies are born, you can. I know I need to get back home and get adjusted so...." I trailed off, looking at him.

"Okay." He said, smiling a little.

"Really?" I asked.

He nodded. "I'll help you move back home."

"Thanks." I smiled.

"And um, thanks for today. It was really nice to get out again and...have fun. Made me feel normal again." I admitted, looking downward.

Being pregnant, as a man, with half alien twins was enough to make someone feel quite strange.

Like I belonged in a lab, or the circus.

As I lifted my head again, Liam pressed his lips against mine.

They felt very full, and soft, but I didn't get to feel them for long before he pulled away.

I liked the feeling.

I liked it a lot.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that. I always rush things. N-Not that this is a thing, I just, um-"

"Shut up." I interrupted, kissing him firmly.

Eventually, he started kissing me back, and we sat out in his car kissing for ages.

And I didn't mind it at all.

-Monday-
Zayn
"Zayn Malik, right?" The man who Louis told me was named Joey asked as Harry, Morello, and I entered his restaurant.

"Yes, this is Harry. He's the one who would like the job, I'm just here to....help. He doesn't speak English that well." I explained.

Joey extended a hand to Harry, smiling.

Harry looked at me. "What do I give to him?"

"Nothing, just shake his hand." I chuckled nervously, adjusting Morello on my hip.

Harry slowly took Joey's hand, and shook it.

"Are you not from London?" Joey asked Harry.

"I am from home." Harry told him.

"Where's home?" Joey asked, glancing at me.

"Finland." I lied.

"Oh, alright. You like cooking, Harry?" Joey asked.

Harry nodded. "I feed them all." He said, looking around at everyone.

"Perfect." Joey smiled.

"Well...when you're working in the kitchen you'll have to have your hair tied back." He said.

Harry kept staring at him, tilting his head a little.

Joey glanced at me again, and continued telling Harry the rules.

I put Morello down, realizing that she was old enough to walk and stand on her own.

"Well, I'd like you to come back for training tomorrow at eleven, yeah?" Joey asked Harry, who nodded.

"Yeah." Harry echoed.

"Okay. Well, it was good to meet you, I look forward to seeing what you can do in the kitchen. And, as you know...all of this is under the table. No need to go around taking about this." Joey said.

I nodded, and Harry frowned, bending over and looking under one of the tables near by.

"Harry, let's go." I chuckled, patting his back.

I expected Morello to be standing beside me, but she had wandered over to the door, and was pushing against the glass, trying to leave.

"Morello," I warned, going over and picking her up.

"Where d'you think you're going?" I asked her.

"To her, daddy." Morello pointed to a woman standing out on the sidewalk, looking in.

"Why?" I frowned.

"She's like daddy." Morello said.

I looked at Harry, and he was still, staring at the woman.

"Harry, why is-" I began, stopping myself as Harry suddenly walked past me and went outside.

I hurried after him, watching him walk up to the woman.

Her eyes widened a bit when she saw him, and Harry stared at her.

Slowly, they leant foward and pressed their foreheads together, closing their eyes.

"She's pretty, isn't she daddy?" Morello asked quietly.

I kept staring at them, assuming this was some sort of greeting.

"Um, Harry?" I spoke up, frowning a little.

Harry and the woman eventually moved apart, and she looked at me.

"My beautiful." Harry told her, pointing to me.

The woman walked up to me, looking at me with piercing blue eyes.

She had sharp cheekbones, and dirty blonde hair that hung down to her breasts.

"Hello, beautiful." She said, having a very smooth, comforting sounding voice.

"Cara." She said, pointing to herself.

"Hi." I said quietly.

"Morello." She said to Cara.

Cara smiled. "Hi."

"Um," I began, glancing at Harry.

"She is friend." Harry informed me, hugging Cara.

Cara smiled, patting his arm.

"Go." She said softly to him.

"We'll meet again?" Harry asked, letting her go.

"When they attack." Cara said, looking into Harry's eyes.

Harry stared at her for a long time, eventually nodding a bit.

"We have to protect the humans." Cara said, looking at me.

"From them." She said darkly, glancing around us.

"Many of them walk here, on this ground. They want to harm, and kill you. All of you, so they will have another planet of their own." She explained.

"We hurt them back, daddy. Don't worry." Morello assured me.

"You won't be doing any fighting, babe. You're saying with me." I said, tapping her nose.

She frowned, crossing her eyes as she tried to look at her nose.

"Home, beautiful." Harry announced, pointing toward my car.

"It was nice to meet you." I nodded to Cara.

She smiled, nodding back at me.

I took Morello to the car, putting her into her car seat and getting into the drivers seat.

We waited for Harry and Cara to get done talking, and I watched them share one last hug before Harry came and got in the car.

"Harry...." I trailed off, not knowing what to say about how earth was going to be attacked.

At first, I didn't think much of it, but now I was beginning to worry.

"You will be okay. You and your kind, and Morello. All of you will be protected from harm." He said, looking into my eyes.

"What about Louis' babies?" I asked quietly, knowing that Harry probably wouldn't think of them as innocent little babies worth saving.

I certainly did, and I hadn't even met them yet.

Harry licked his lips, looking away from me.

"I am unsure."
