I'm trapped in a small room that is as white as a swan. A woman walked into the room with a sharp needle. I felt a chill run down my spine because I'm terrified of needles, they remind me of when I was in the hospital. This has to be a dream I reassure myself. I pull my arms free from the sheets I'm lying under and pinch my left shoulder. Nothing. Quick, think of something! I tell myself. I blink three times. One. Two. Three and I can sit up. Gorgie's at the end of my bed staring at me. Still shaking I blink another three times to make sure I still wasn't asleep and dreaming. Nope, I was definitely awake. "Did you have a bad dream?" She asked me. "Yeah, I guess," I reply.

After Gorgie left I got changed and did my hair and headed down the hallway to the dinning table. Everyone was there so I sat down in the spare seat next to Uncle Phil and Gorgie. "So what do you think about going on a trail ride today?" My uncle asked me. "It would be a great way to go around the massive property." My aunt adds. "Ok, but I'v never ridden a horse before and who would I ride?" I say. "Well we have some beginner horses, they would be perfect for ya," he said. "A horse! I was thinking of starting on with a beginners pony." I exclaim. "Well I thought you might want to ride your birth mothers horse." He tells me surprised. "My Mum used to ride horses!" I was surprised. "Well yes you could say that but she did a lot more then just ride horses," he tells me. "What do you mean, I'm confused." My uncle looks at my aunt, she nods then he turns back to me. "There is much you do not know about your parents Stacey and I think it's time to tell you, I can't stand lying to you anymore."

This was a REALLY fun chapter to write so I hope you like it. This book is going to be the second book in the series (I making this a series if you did not pick up). I will tell you at the end of the next chapter what the first book will be about. Please don't go ahead and look at that until you read the chapter because it will ruin what you find out about Gorgie's parents.
