It's so great to be happy again. Oops, my mistake. It's so great to be almost happy. I still hadn't spoken to Thomas and I felt terrible for him. He was stuck in the city with his brother because if here were back here then he wouldn't be able to get to the hospital easily. It turned out that Thomas nearly lost his leg. There was an infection so he was very lucky.
"So... it's been like what? An hour and we still haven't named your colt. This is harder then I expected it to be considering..." Georgie was cut off by a loud bang on the door. There was someone outside.
Georgie and I look at each other. "I'll get it." I say. I leave the table and head to the door. I hesitate as I unlock the door. We weren't expecting visitors. Amy and Phill weren't home, it was just Georgie and I.
I open the door. There's a man struggling to hold himself up. He smelt of beer. I freaked out and called out for Georgie. He grabs me and takes me out side. Georgie obviously didn't here me because she didn't come.
"Please don't hurt me." I say scared. "Who are you?"
"Well I don't see why I shouldn't hurt you after what you did to my son! He could have lost his leg." He said.
"Wait! Are you Thomas's dad?"
"Indeed I am."
"It wasn't my fault what happened but!"
Yes it is you fool! If it weren't for you moving here then Thomas never would have fallen in love with you and then he wouldn't have gone out to the forest!" He slammed me into the tree out the front.
"Ow!" I shout. But clearly he didn't care about my pain and through a punch at me. I felt the taste of blood. He aimed his fist but didn't get a chance to plant into my face a second time because at that moment a little horse came charging at the man. The horse had knocked him to the ground. It was at that moment that I saw who the horse was. It was my horse. My colt. My hero.

I didn't tell you this but this was the LAST CHAPTER of the book. At least with an ending like this you will want to read the next book I suppose.
